Alison Pill Tweets Topless Photo Of Herself
Newsroom actress Alison Pill gave her 13,000 followers on Twitter quite the surprise yesterday when they all received a topless photo of the actress straight to their Twitter feed. Nothing like that would ever happen to me. Oh, sure Steve Martin might do it, but it is just not the same. Alison deleted it almost instantly. I wonder if the photo was supposed to go to her boyfriend. I'm sure she told him it was supposed to, but what if it was going to some other guy and she got nervous and that is why she slipped and Tweeted it to her followers. Hmm? That is the conspiracy guy in me. Anyway, if you want to see the NSFW photo you will have to click here and then scroll down.
At least she owned up to it, and tweeted her regrets & embarrassment to those who had gotten it.
ReplyDeleteJust boobs, nbd. I like the way she handled it.
IF it was truly an accident, I mean. I don't know this chick, but she doesn't seem the type to do this on purpose? Or am I naive?
ReplyDeleteI agree, Libby - she owned up to it and made fun of herself. Her boyfriend was a good sport about the whole thing too.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Boobies!
ReplyDeleteI like the way she handled it too. No weeping to people mag etc. Just an oppps and an apology.
ReplyDeleteI have no comment other than I just can't with those glasses. If she was wearing pants I bet they were those Urkel shorts that cover one's navel.
ReplyDeleteUGH.
I don't know who she is, but that picture is just plain cute - she's adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI'll NEVER understand kids these days and their compulsion to take nudie cell phone pictures, but this is the cutest one ever.
Oh, and apparently I should have saved all my glasses from the '80's - I could sell them on eBay to all the hipster kids!
ReplyDeleteShe's a pill.

ReplyDeleteI'm with you, Frufra. I do not get the need to take nude pictures.
ReplyDeleteShe was already in a movie where she flashed her breasts. Not a big deal.
ReplyDeleteOkay, but she recently had her lips way done.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she was trying to announce lips not hips . . .
nice bewbs
ReplyDeleteIf you guys haven't seen The Newsroom yet, you should check it out ... that's the HBO series she's in with Jeff Daniels and Emily Mortimer. My favorite show at the moment. And she's quirky and adorable in it.
ReplyDeleteI'm on board the "she handled it well" train. Plus she looks good, in a kinda hipster-y way. I don't see the big deal about taking naughty photos of yourself to send to a lover, as long as you own up to it if/when they make it out into the interwebs. I think that the camera phone and webcam are the best thing since sliced bread in terms of being able to keep some heat in your relationship when you are apart.
ReplyDeleteI honestly thought that was Courtney Love.
ReplyDeleteI totally dont get the whole texting naked pics of yourself.
ReplyDeleteThose have to be the least sexy boobs I've ever seen. Very disappointed here.
ReplyDeleteShe did handle it well, and it is only bewbs. I just can't believe how many of you guys think she's cute. Huh. No offense to her or anyone, eye of the beholder and all that.
ReplyDeleteMeh. This is nothing. She owned up to it. Oops. Big deal. Doesn't confuse or offend me at all. Mr. Disco's gotten a lot racier pics from me before.
ReplyDelete@RenoBlondee, I cant get past those huge lips. I get a young Melanie Griffith vibe from her.
ReplyDeleteShe is cute. She's also a very good actress. She played Queen Matilda in Pillars of the Earth & was pretty badass. I also saw her in Goon recently & she was hilarious. Here is a G rated shot supporting my argument that she is a cutie:
ReplyDeleteAlison Pill With All Her Clothes On
Rule #1 of sexting: Never put your face in the picture!! When will these celebs learn? (Hopefully never ;) )
ReplyDeleteI mean, naked pictures are a ok with me. Long distance relationships requires you step your game up a little.
ReplyDeleteI with everyone else. They're just boobies. Sometimes I'm surprised at how prude people get in situations like this.
Wait that's the same girl lazyday posted? She was in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen with Lilo. Looks NOTHING like her in this photo. Odd.
ReplyDeleteshe looks like the chipmunk with the glasses...brittany? nah...eleanor? i can't remember
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of nerdy naked girls.. Well nerdy girls in general but newdie nerdy makes my day:)
ReplyDeleteI ain't mad at her. She gets to marry Jay Barichel aka the hottest nerd ever.
ReplyDelete@KaySea, I'm with you...Newsroom quickly became our new fave show. I'm already having withdrawals.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had a prime time journalist like Will McAvoy in real life. Brian Williams needs to step up to the plate.
I met her at The Mint ( a karaoke bar in SF) a while back. She was there with Bobby Canavale, who I really wanted to meet. He was very gracious, but she was a jerk. She also sang a bad, overly breathy, version of an Alanis Morrissette song.
ReplyDeleteShe definitely looks better with her clothes ON!!!
ReplyDeleteCould've kept that.
Loved that her fiancé tweeted, Glad it dudn't happen to me first.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me she didn't actually do her lips though. I hate when people I like jack up their face. I'm looking at you Emily Blunt. Or at least I was.
ReplyDeleteFor the record...
FAKE LIPS HAVE NEVER LOOKED GOOD ON ANYONE. EVER.
It took me 2 or 3 attempts to get through the first episode of The Newsroom but by the 3rd Episode it was full steam ahead. Every episode was a knockout. She was quite good as Zelda Fitzgerald in Midnight In Paris too. On The Newsroom I think she's trying to act a little bit too much like Lauren Ambrose as Clair Fisher.
ReplyDeleteShe's by far the worst thing about The Newsroom, overacting to the nth degree.
ReplyDeleteFrufra reading your post I got this instant picture in my head of a mum in a housecoat, standing outside a coffee shop, an open old suitcase full of old glasses, a line of too cools, waiting for their turn to buy their 'ridgey' (hipster for original or retro) glasses. :)
ReplyDeleteCall me crazy, but I've never tried to delete a photo and then had it post to Twitter. So I call bullshit.
