A woman was charged with murder early Saturday morning, just a few hours before she was supposed to get married to the man she murdered. Na Cola Darcel Franklin and her soon to be husband were at their house the night before the wedding. They got into a fight and Na stabbed her boyfriend with a knife twice. One of the wounds punctured his heart and killed him. The couple was not alone in the apartment. There were friends and family and the couple's children. In front of a judge at her arraignment, Na said she wanted to go home and the judge said she would not be going home for a very very long time. Apparently Na still could not believe she actually killed her boyfriend and the father of her kids and told the judge "I ... did ... not ... kill ... him ... on ... purpose."
Holy shiz.. Those poor kids :(

Na Cola, on purpose or not, he's still dead. It might make a difference to a jury, but it won't to their kids.

ReplyDeletenancer--ITA, and it's pretty hard to stab someone in the chest, as opposed to rib-free areas with less protection, like the abdomen or whatever. Probably why there were two stabbings here---she hit a rib the first time, then adjusted her aim. That would PROVE to me she intended for him to die. JMO.

DeleteThis reminds me of Paige Parkerson of Beaumont, Texas, who stabbed her boyfriend to death on Mother's Day this year in an argument over an insufficiently impressive gift. Her Facebook page states: "%if looks could kill i would be da murder of all my haters%" Apparently not just her haters (bad, I know.)

It is driving me insane that it says boyfriend. It's her fiancee if they were about to be married! I thought it was going to be some tangled story about her killing her side piece before the wedding or something. Fresh start, you know.
