Look at how happy Talia Castellano is in all of her videos. You would never know the 12 year old girl has been fighting cancer for five years and has just a few months left to live. Every week she does a makeup tutorial for teens. She is inspiring and so happy and when you see someone like Talia it makes you realize that no matter how old you are you still have things you can learn about being a human and finding joy in everything.
Too sad to watch...
ReplyDeleteThis is too sad. Couldn't watch it.
ReplyDeleteI've watched Talia Joy's videos for a long time now and this is heartbreaking. She's such a sweet, lovely girl.
ReplyDeleteI made it to the 3 minute mark. May her strong spirit carry her to the end of her journey.
ReplyDeleteMy office is super dusty. It's possible that it's not dust, but smoke. Yeah...
ReplyDeleteWhat an unbelievably brave and sweet girl.
What a sweetie! Bless her - I can't imagine what it would be like to have cancer. She really is inspiring with her positive attitude and honesty.
ReplyDeleteSince I just did my makeup, I won't watch this til I'm done with work.
ReplyDeletewow..just wow. So mature when she should just be able to be a kid.
ReplyDelete" children shouldnt get cancer" that statement is so true, the most inocent souls in this messed up world allways carry the biggest burdens. I am goin to hug a kiss my new born daugther now a beg god to keep her safe.
ReplyDeletea friend of mine who got cancer when he was about 35 went for chemo and he told us how hard it was but the most difficult thing for him was seeing little kids with cancer, he said it just didn't make sense.
ReplyDeleteshes very beautiful and has a strong spirit. its not fair that any child gets to "see" their countdown clock. live life every day so when you go to sleep at night, you know you did your best.
ReplyDeletebawling...
ReplyDeleteThis makes the argument i had with my husband this morning look so petty.
She is so young and so beautiful.

must be peeling onions...what a brave young girl. every day is a gift.
ReplyDeletePuts my own "problems" into perspective. What a brave little lady.
ReplyDeleteToo sad, and don't our rants about the pathetic things that bug us seem less than trivial. I'm ashamed of myself.
ReplyDeleteWow. Amazing how strong kids can be. I don't know many adults with that sort of insight. God bless her sweet little heart.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is battling leukemia right now and we say it every day...cancer sucks. It's a bunch of fucking shit. It's stupid and gross and it can kiss my ass.
One more thing....back in January the doctors gave Caroline a 10% chance of surviving because of her complications. I told them that was a dumb thing to say and I didn't tellanyone. Guess what? She is doing great. It is a miracle. Miracles do happen.
I know not everyone gets a miracle but there is always a chance.
Make yourself watch. Give blood and join the bone marrow registry.
I think that is the most powerful things I've ever watched. What a strong little girl. She has far more courage than I ever could.
ReplyDeleteYou are loved, brave heart.
Yep. Skipping this one too.
ReplyDeleteI could not make it through this entire video. Aside from the fact that this girl is beautiful, her strength and courage is amazing. As mean and nasty and negative and unappreciative as people can be,I work for a financial services company, and was on the phone today with a 90 year old client. He proceeded to tell me that he was "a little busy" because his wife was just diagnosed with terminal cancer and their house also burned down last week due to a forest fire. Like Talia,he didn't blink an eye. I told him how sorry I was and he said matter-of-factly, "Well, that is life. At least how I understand it. It could be worse." I had to take a break after that. God bless Talia and all these people that have such faith and courage & positivity.
ReplyDeleteThat right there is the most beautiful person with a soul to match. Nobody deserves to deteriorate through chemotherapy. I hope one day a plant based cure for cancer is discovered that produces a miraculous results.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is 12 and I just can't watch this.
ReplyDelete@stillhere, I hope with all my heart that your miracle continues for the next 60+ years.
I hope love and peace see Talia through this. Maybe there's a small chance she can get her miracle too...or maybe having people stop and think, and appreciate, are her miracle.
Out of the mouths of babes....
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful kid.
Wow she is so strong and brave and beautiful...inspirational, I hope she makes it.
ReplyDeleteHugs{{{stillhere}}}Huggies... My S.O. is in remission from Stage 4 lymphoma, yes miracles are definitely possible, and the technology is improving exponentially. I cannot imagine my child being ill, that is a whole different level of pain.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad... *tear*
