ReplyDeleteSaw TOTAL RECALL. I wasn't expecting to love it or to love Colin F. in the role, but he is quite kittenish and buff and sweet and captivating. He was way better than I expected -- and I haven't really seen him in aything. He was quite good in this. Too bad no one else saw it.

Anyway, Chris Rock was on The Daily Show last night, promoting this Julie Delpy film. He long ago got boxed in as a loudmouth character, and of course there are so few leading roles for Blacks anyway. I hope this film gets him more work.

The pics with his kids always make me smile because they remind me exactly of my own amazing husband and his affectionate, easy nature with our kids. Since my own dad is an ass, I'm thrilled my kids will never know such pain.

I have the same/very similar dress as Debra Messing and it makes me look about 6 months pregnant with triplets. Just reminded myself to give it to the charity shop, although strictly speaking is it really charitable to give them something that will add 100 lbs to the next schmuck that sees it and thinks they'll look all ethereal and buys it without trying it on. Anyway, in summation, bad angle.

ReplyDeleteWe did not forget Chris Rock, Libby, or else I didn't. Rock has talked a lot about his experiences on SNL. He feels that his style of humor wasn't appreciated, but he says that he didn't feel jobbed by Lorne or held back by prejudice there. He always says that he owes a large part of his success to SNL because he learned to write on the show.

I have only seen one Colin movie in my life, and it was really, really good: Fright Night. Yes, remake of the oldie. It has McLovin in it (I will never remember that actor's name).

I really like Colin Farrell. I think he is really underrated as an actor. He's in the same place as Zac Efron for me. They both seem to be cast for their "prettiness" but I think they could both be amazing. Saw colin in Home at the End of the World. So good.

In the background of the second Beckham photo you can see Laura Trott (blonde girl) canoodling with Jason Kenny who is obscured by the Beckham clan. They are Team GB track cyclists and have each won 2 gold medals at these Olympics - Laura just pipped an American (Hammer?) to win the omnium event. Anyway they have just confirmed that they are in a relationship and I think they make a super cute couple. That is all. :p

I think you all would be surprised by Colin F.'s Total Recall. Overall, the movie was not that bad at all. I was entertained. This remake is way different and better than the original. Some bullshit parts to the movie, but then again, nowadays, what movie doesn't have a bit of that. He is looking good!!

ReplyDeleteGotta be honest, I love Coco and Ice, they seem so trashy (really, Coco has no shame, with Courtney Stodden/other dumb blondes I roll my eyes, but for Coco I have a soft spot) but they love eachother. Coco seems like a real sweetheart and Ice is all bad ass but deep down he is a sweetie (especially around Coco). Don't know about rumors surrounding them (as someone stated above) but I hope they are not breaking up.
