ReplyDeleteThere are two different compounds the kenndy's own, one on martha's vineyard which they are turning into an educational center. It is near an end of this amazing bluff that is a public park but the beach past a point was closed for them. Now it is all open.

My family has a house in Chilmark on Martha's Vineyard. I had a chance to meet Jake Gyllenhaal but was 15 and dumb! I decided to take a different earlier plane home. I loved that man when I was younger and still think he is fine.

ReplyDeleteMLP! I love her, and I am so sad this is the final season of Weeds (even though we suffered through a couple really bad seasons). She is fab in my book. Fried Green Tomatoes is one of my all-time fave books and movies.
ReplyDeleteTattoos. I remember when my mom got her tattoo (at 31 - her "mid-life" crisis once the custody battle was over with my bio dad) a teeny little orchid on her shoulder. My grandmother, bless her soul, told her she looked like a wharf rat. That makes me chuckle to this day. My mom swam with her back to my grandpa for 10 more years until he passed, just so HE would never see it!
There will be hundreds of thousands of us old wrinkly tattoo covered folks scooting around in our Rascals in about 40-50 years, so I'm not the least bit concerned with what anyone thinks about my tattoos.
What I'm really interested in seeing is what earlobes that were guaged look like down the line...

DeleteSweet. Well in that case the price drop is very reasonable. Houses on one of the island are much expensive. I thought they had property on Nantucket? It made more sense to me because it is so much more private. So is a gated luxury community though.

I think Caroline might still have property. Her mother's place was on the Vineyard, but it was sold .The houses are generally older where the compound is in Hyannis.
