OJ Simpson's Ex-Girlfriend To Plead Guilty To Robbery & Drug Charges

Christie Prody dated OJ Simpson for 13 after he was acquitted of killing Ron Goldman & Nicole Simpson. Over the years Christie has confirmed that OJ did kill them and has a lot more stories to tell she says about other things OJ has done that he was not caught doing. Well, Christie has her own issues after she was caught on camera stealing pills from her nursing patients. Christie's case was supposed to go to trial next month but she is going to plead guilty to drug and robbery charges in Moorhead, MN. She also needs to pay her legal bill so look for her to start blabbing to the tabloids. (Thanks Lisa)

  1. Woman who apparently finds OJ Simpson less than repugnant has drug/honesty issues. Well colour me surprised.

  2. 13 days? Months? Years?

  3. Right this is a total shocker...Wake me when we have some good gossip.

  4. Being from MN, I can tell you that every single time I hear/see the name "Moorhead" it makes me giggle. I am perpetually 13.

  5. Let me get this straight. She dated a man for 13 years that admitted to her that he killed two people and she stuck around. What a gal!

  6. FSP, I wondered the same thing. I think years since Enty said "over the years."

Did you see my comment about the Olympic Motor Boating yesterday? We are kindred spirits :)

  8. LOL Sunny I did not! I was swamped yesterday, because I moved on Weds and had a ton of catching up to do. Word to the wise: if you think you're going to be moving, start saving to hire movers. My God. Never again!

  9. @Amber, I am from MN too! Just moved to ATL and miss it like crazy!

Oh moving SUCKS! Yeah, movers are so worth it. I can't wait for the day I can afford the movers who pack all your stuff up for you. Wrapping glasses is enough to send me on a bender of epic proportions. Good luck and I will cut and paste into this thread :)

  11. Dena - what part of MN? I live in Minneapolis. ATL is a HUGE change in comparison!

While I was running on the treadmill at the gym today, Fox News put up a graphic of events that used to be in the Old Timey Olympics but were phased out. One of them was city planning, another one was Motor Boating. I shit you not. And since my sense of humor never made it past the 3rd grade, I could not stop laughing and kept giving my surrounding gymgoers the eyes to look at the screen and have a laugh with me. NOBODY else thought this was funny and just left me twisting in the wind. And then THAT made me laugh too because I'm the most immature fool on the planet. Still laugh when people say "Well I do do that". Doo doo!

  14. Inver Grove Heights but I grew up on the West Side of St. Paul. Yes, it is a huge difference! IKm ready to go back! There are no jobs here and the only reason we came here is for my husbands job.

  15. Hahahaha Sunny! Never lose it. When you start taking yourself way too seriously, you get old. :)

Dena - bummer! Hopefully he can get transferred back here at some point. You're missing all the good summer stuff!

  17. This is the chick that "fell" a few times and has brain damage, right?

  18. This is also the chick whose father is the head of a mental health clinic in my town.

  19. Some OT Olympic trivia: one of the most popular worldwide team sports is not now an Olympic sport. Today, the United States is a second-tier (at best) country in this sport, but in the early Olympics the US took the gold both times this sport was played for medals. What sport is it?

  20. I bet Oprah was involved in this as well.

  21. @Amber, I just moved this weekend and it was PURE HELL! We are looking to move up in a few years, so I'm instituting a "no new stuff"policy...either that or movers.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I would never let movers pack my stuff for me...I'd be worried of what they might find that I've totally forgotten about. ;-)

  23. Here's how naive I am. When Sunny posted that yesterday, I thought the funny part was city planning. City Planning! As an Olympic Sport! How? That's funny.

I see now that I missed the point.

  24. @B. - cricket? Rugby?

  25. Also, movers are heaven. We got a full-boat relocation package for our last move, and let me tell ya, it's pretty damn awesome. Packers, movers, and even unpackers!

Don't get me wrong, it's still work, but it's a whole different ball game with that much help. We'd moved seven times prior to this last move, so I know of which I speak :-). I've seen the promised land for sure!

  26. I lived in Moorhead for about 13 years. Does Lisa (who supplied the article) live there?

I remember when his girlfriend brought him to Fargo (across the river, but essentially one town), and they hung out at a cigar bar. People were up in arms over whether the bar should have served him or asked him to leave. The bar's take was that he was "innocent" (legally) and his money was as good as anyone's. What I couldn't believe is that people asked him for autographs. (No word on whether he later tried to get those autographs back at gunpoint.) I was just glad I didn't happen to see him. I wonder if I ever crossed paths with her.

  27. @Frufra I agree with your guesses - looking forward to the answer!

  28. @Amber
    I'm in Minneapolis too!

  29. @Frufra -- Rugby is correct! Technically, it was a sport in the 1900 and 1908 Games as well, but only the 1920 and 1924 Games included real contests and the US won the gold both times. Just one of those factoids with which you can snark on the Brits after a match if they're busting your chops about how the Eagles have done in World Cup play.

FYI, if Womens Rugby makes it into the Olympics soon the US girls will be as dominant as the US men are at basketball.

  30. Woo hoo! Yay me!

(and thanks for ignoring my cricket guess :-)

Really surprising that rugby isn't a current Olympic sport, though.

  31. Oh, Christine's a real piece of work. Back when she was seeing OJ, she once went off with him for a month. Her neighbors eventually began to smell something bad from her apartment and called the cops. They found her cat, dead. Starved to death.

And somebody gave her a job to care for patients? Were they insane?

  32. @WUWT?, I grew up in Moorhead (yes, it makes me giggle, too), moved to DC, and came back to the area a few years ago. I found the article on the Forum's website the other day and wondered why on earth OJ's ex would move here. It's not like there's a ton of jobs--unemployment is really low right now... When did you live here?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Aha, I always wondered why she and OJ were flying to Minnesota on a plane with my former co-worker. He said she had a broken arm, and after seeing them together, he wouldn't have been surprised if OJ gave it to her.

    (I'm a Minneapolitan too.)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Lord, is everyone on here from Minnesota? I live in the cities too. Hahaha.

I wouldn't believe anything she said. After all, she dated a guy for 13 YEARS (!!!) who killed his wife and her lover. She's lucky to be alive.

    ReplyDelete
  35. frausimon, I thought she grew up in the St Cloud area, and maybe she started college in Moorhead. She took a trip to California and happened to meet him when she was on a "celebrity home" tour. She might have family that still lives in the Moorhead area, so it is her primary "home" area, not just somewhere random she moved later.

I lived in Moorhead from the mid 1990s til a few years ago. So you live in the area again now?

  36. Speaking of all the current and former Minnesotans on the site, have we heard from Wil lately? I know she was dealing with a scary diagnosis, and then she dropped off the CDAN horizon and I want to know if anyone knows if she's all right. (I think she was a Twin Cities reader.)

Sometime when I'm brave I will just announce, "Hey all, Shakopee Renaissance Fair (or wherever), are you in?" and we'll have a Midwest CDAN meetup. But I am not brave yet.

  37. I saw them around town every now and then after the trial (OJ and Christy). They went into a restaurant here in Miami and some patrons got up and left (I was one of them). Outside, while he was waiting to be seated, people were kissing his ass and he was smiling talking about his knee. UGH

  38. I ran into the two of them in the Palm Beach airport many years ago. OJ with his golf clubs. She looked like she really needed a bath and was drunk and/or drugged out of her mind.

    ReplyDelete
  39. WUWT?, thanks for the background--I didn't know she was from the area. That makes a lot more sense if she has family here.

And I love the idea of a meet up in the Cities! It would be kind of like a Match.com event (but without the speed dating involved)...
