Marvin Hamlisch Has Died


Marvin Hamlisch, the composer for film and stage, died in Los Angeles after a brief illness, a family spokesman told the Associated Press. He was 68. The composer won three Academy Awards, four Emmys and a Tony. Oh, and also a Grammy. He is one of 11 people to have an EGOT.
