Apparently Emily Maynard has cast some type of spell over Jef Holm and he is too in love to see it. There are a zillion reports out there about how Emily cheated on him and the guy just does not care. This is just like the winner from Vancouver who moved down to Chicago to be with the guy she picked because she didn't believe any of the stories about him cheating. Well, when he kept getting phone calls in the middle of the night or disappearing a few hours at a time she finally got the message and moved back. Jef says that all he cares about is moving closer to Emily and her daughter and moving on in their lives together. Uh huh. Meanwhile I think his family is spreading reports about the couple fighting because they want Jef to get his head out of the sand and see what is going on around him. This is going to explode into the biggest Bachelor/Bachelorette breakup ever other than anything having to do with Vienna.
His family is very religiously Mormon -- they will do whatever it takes to prevent him from marrying a "gentile".
ReplyDeleteSeachica - do you know if he has sort of defected from the Church? It seems like he a) wouldn't really have been on that show, and b) would date a single mom because it would be immoral (I'm assuming).

The Hendrick's are by far no saints themselves. I hate Rick Hendrick and his cheating and lying ass. He even got a presidential pardon iIIRC from his tax cheating days. An I get sick of hearing about the plane crash at every martinsville race. I wouldn't be surprised if Emily got pregnant just to get her hands on Hendrick $$$

@iheartgoss -- is Jef a non-practicing Mormon, or has he taken the step to resign? I knew he wasn't practicing, but his parents were clearly on a mission while he was on the show, and if they are that religious, then it sounds like he probably has a strained relationship with them.
ReplyDelete@amber - her being a single mom isn't nearly as bad as her not being Mormon. There are plenty of divorced and widowed moms in the church, though you are seen as inferior to women in a marriage. No restrictions on getting remarried.
He's just not active at the moment. He pretty much still believes it, but enjoys partying right now. His name is still on the records. His parent's are very faithful, but just because Jef isn't active doesn't mean they have a strained relationship. They still love him and are a big part of his life. They're the financial backers of people water. I do know his mom was pretty mad at him for going on the show in the first place though.

I don't believe this at all. They seem really happy & genuine. He has already posted on his Facebook page that it's not true & he can't believe his brother said that just to get his name in a magazine.
