After being supposedly being together for 6 years, Gillian Anderson and her partner and baby daddy to two of her children have officially called it quits. I say they have been finished for closer to two years. Probably about the time their youngest child turned one. Gillian finally broke the news publicly so she could get out and be seen and allow Mark Griffiths the same opportunity. Gillian has led an interesting life these past few years. I think it will be pretty interesting to see if she finally makes all those Gillian/David fans happy and comes out publicly with David. There is nothing that he is into that would shock her which was not the case with Tea. Plus, it is kind of like that Ashton Kutcher/Mila Kunis thing. Or for us regular folks, running into your high school or college friend a few years down the road and wondering how come nothing happened and it does pretty fast. Sometimes though, all of that is going on behind the scenes. Maybe now, it will come out for everyone to see.
The last few times I've seen her interviewed I've thought she's an odd bird...and it's not her British accent (she grew up there). She just seems to take herself way too seriously.

I do wonder about her and David. That blind was posted here about them 'practically' living together which I really didn't believe at the time. But now I'm like...was a bit true after all? Were they together (in some form) all this time?

ReplyDeleteI can't really comment on Gillian's kids possibly being david's. I haven't seen a picture of Piper in years to say who she looks like and I don't recall ever seeing pictures of her boys. My friend said she thought the oldest looked like Mark. I do find it hilarious the Felix spells x-file when mixed up. Even though I assumed it was a coincidence.
@strawberry girl - if he's doing it for the kids, I take my hat off to him. We could use a little more of that in this world. I do not give one shit what consenting adults do, if they put their kids' needs first.

mr dizzyeggs has always had a thing for gillian anderson and i just don't get it...her lips don't move when she talks, so i in the past, referred to her as the mumbler. mumble, mumble, mumble. he maintains he doesn't need her to talk.

ReplyDeletePiper is the daughter of some crew member from the X-Files series. They got married and then divorced a couple of years later. I have no idea what is up with her other kids, as I am not a big GA fan and I don't keep up with her gossip.

@tex in the press stuff they gave for the latest movie, they both admitted that they had some issues in the past but that time had healed all that. They said they really had a great timing filming the movie so maybe things resurfaced around then? Maybe the tension all along was because they had been together at some point and it went bad.

ReplyDeleteThere have been tons of rumors, especially from Ted C, that Gillian and David have been a couple since the filming of the second X-Files future. That movie came out in 2008.
Gillian got pregnant during the filming with her last kid. Speculation has always been the last kid, Felix, was David's.
Gillian would be perfect for David, since she has come out as being bisexual. She wouldn't mind his threesomes.
If you ever read any of the interviews Gillian did while David was married to Tea, you can tell she was always baiting Tea. She would make comments about "what might have been." I always found those comments weird and strange.
Now let's get another X-Files movie!
Wow this is surprising to me. I honestly didn't believe the reveal on this one, I thought it was Enty pandering to an easy group to pander to (X-Files fans/Mulder & Scully shippers). But btwn this post and if our friend Damacles is in the know.... um... wow. And if DD is doing it for the kids (keeping it low) then I respect the hell out of him. Agreed convenient that they are also popular brit names. These two are very smart people so all of this makes sense... mind officially blown.
the felix/x-files thing makes me the most confused. Could she really not know what it spelled rearranged? I came to the conclusion after saying to myself 'how funny that she picked a name with an X in it (because there aren't that many of them) and then thought about it for a second and was like WAIT! REALLY? lol If he is David's kid (which I have many doubts about because I'm skeptical like that) that wasn't the best way to hide it.

People responded like it's just two weird old-fashioned names, so it's unusual but not cruel...but it's the Odd Couple, isn't it? Felix and Oscar!
