Now that the Olympics are over, ABC would like to take the time to remind everyone that NBC is the last place network and with stellar entertainment like that animal show, will probably continue to be in last. ABC also took the time to announce what the all-star pairings will be for the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.
Kristie Alley (season 12) and pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Former ‘NSync member Joey Fatone (season 4) and pro Kym Johnson.
Bristol Palin (season 11) and Mark Ballas.
Former Dallas Cowboys star Emmitt Smith (season 3) and pro Cheryl Burke.
Z lister Melissa Rycroft (season 8) and Tony Dovolani.
"DWTS” champs Apolo Anton Ohno and Shawn Johnson will have new teammates. Ohno won season 4 with former pro Julianne Hough, but will dance this season with Karina Smirnoff. Johnson won season 8 with pro partner Mark Ballas, so this time gets Derek Hough.
Pamela Anderson (season 10), will partner up with pro Tristan McManus.
Kelly Monaco gets Valentin.
Helio Castroneves gets my favorite, Chelsie Hightower.
Drew Lachey gets Anna.
Gilles Marini gets Peta.

DeleteEvery time I've tried to watch this show I don't make it past 2 or 3 episodes. I do love Kelly Monaco though, so I may have to watch.

I wonder what strings the Palins' pulled to get Bristol on the show? I'm not a fan of Mark Ballas, but feel sympathy for him now.

ReplyDeleteThe professionals should have been paired with different contestants this year.
Kym does have funny eyes, but she seems very sweet. She's had to deal with some bad dancing partners and took it all in stride.
I loved Emmitt and Cheryl's winning season, it's going to be tough for me to be impartial.

Helio is a race car driver and Gilles is an actor

ReplyDeleteLove the idea of this show but can't stand the way they stretch 30 minutes of dancing into a hour. Just like the dancing not all of that in between business.
ReplyDeleteOnly in America does having an idiot with a big mouth for a Mother and the ability to get knocked up before you are out of high school make you a "star" I guess next season it will be the kids from Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant on there.DWTS has some really low standards for what passes as a "star" Bristol Palin has no talent and no personality. She is about as far from being a star as you can get.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone ever see Kathy Griffin make fun of Pam Anderson when she's on DWTS? Very funny. It might be worth watching to see her. She acts completely oversexed and hams it up for the camera even when she's in the background and they are interviewing other dancers.

ReplyDeleteThe ONLY season I watched was Season 4 with Joey Fatone (yeah, I see "Fat One" too @disenchanted! haha) and Apolo Ohno. And they were both FABulous! I'm almost tempted to watch it this time too, just for them. Just wish Laila Ali were in this one too.
