Beanie Sigel Arrested For Weapons & Drugs
Beanie Sigel is just not having a very good year. The rapper is scheduled to start a federal prison sentence of two years in a couple of weeks for failing to pay taxes for almost a decade. The government says Beanie owes $700K in taxes for 1999-2005. That is a lot of money. Apparently he must have been spending it on drugs and guns because police arrested Beanie outside Philadelphia after a traffic stop where they found a gun in the console of the car. They also found bottles of prescription pills, pot, $5K in cash and bottle of codeine syrup. Neither Beanie nor the driver of the car were able to post bail so beanie will probably stay in jail until he heads to federal prison. Sigel's latest album was released last week.
I have never heard of this guy.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of him either. And if he earned all that money, why not pay your taxes before you spend it on other stuff? Because we own our own business we have to pay our taxes every 3 months, it's just not that hard if you make an actual commitment to it. The IRS will never let you get away with not paying them. It's just not worth fighting it.
ReplyDeleteWhat great PR for his album! :) Never heard of him, either.
ReplyDelete"As far as back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangsta".
ReplyDeleteMakes me laugh every time.
At first I thought it said Bugsy Siegel and got excited that I was going to read about a real gangster.
ReplyDeleteI thought it said bernie siegal!! lol when will these people realize the "lifestyle" leads no where. pay your freaking taxes, like alla us, and get on with your life.
ReplyDeleteHe was one of the best rappers on Jay Z's label back in the day. His music is better than what is passed off as "rap" today. Stereotypes...
ReplyDeleteI guess he will definitely have street cred now..
ReplyDeleteEm did you change your AVI then change it back?
ReplyDeleteCecil Capone wasn't available for comment.
ReplyDeleteI loves me some Beanz, but he obvs has some demons.
ReplyDeleteI hope he get's well soon.
Love Beanie
