Today's Blind Items - Why She Does It

It's not often that I get depressed writing about an actress in a blind item, but with this actress I do. There are times I have really liked her and whenever I have seen her she has been amazingly nice. She handles the paps very well and is not afraid to give them a hard time or to just play along and let them shoot her. She had big things that were going to happen to her, but some bad luck and a couple of cancellations and now she is hanging on to her status by a thread. She has had some recent television chances but they didn't work out. People keep trying to make her a star, but it just has not quite clicked yet. She is never going to be someone who is not a lead. She is gorgeous and makes most of her money from being gorgeous. She is not a bad actress. Not bad at all. Academy Award? Probably not, but she is also not going to be as bad as Jessica Biel. Anyway, our actress has a had a long term boyfriend. The thing is he is just a friend who is a boy. There is no sex. There is a lot of love, but he likes guys and she knows it. She just likes him there. She has never been able to have a real relationship because of what happened to her when she was a pre-teen. She was molested not once, but twice by two different men. One was a relative and one was a friend of the family. They were pretty bad. Not just a groping. She will tell you it has happened, but has never given an interview about it. The thing is since it happened, she is scared to be alone with any guy anywhere. She loves acting because she gets to have love scenes but with lots of people around. She loves that feeling of safety. Because her boyfriend is gay, she knows she is safe, but it took a long time before she even trusted him. He is the only man she trusts. Period. No one else. Her fear is so pervasive that if she is about to get on an elevator and there is no one but a man, she won't get on. if she is on, she will get off. Her fear also shows itself in other ways. You have never seen someone more protective over her family. She is like a lioness. her siblings and her extended family, and even her friends all are protected. So, some may ask why she would date someone who is gay. This is why she does it.
