Sean Been Off The Hook In Domestic Violence Case

Sean Bean found out yesterday that he will not face criminal charges after he was arrested for being abusive to his ex-wife and sending her abusive texts and doing many other nasty things. Apparently the charges were not serious enough to stick. Georgina Sutcliffe had complained to police and they arrested Bean but ultimately there just was not enough. I think Georgina is wife #4 for Sean who is already making plans to getting married again. The man loves a wedding.

  3. Now tell us who Jon Snows mother is!!!

  4. UGH haha I hope not Vicki, she only likes to reproduce with family. I don't even think Ned is his real father.

  5. I really need to start reading those books.

  6. Vicki the books are great. I highly recommend them!

  7. Good point rejectedcarebear...he has more resemblance to Robert, actually. In the books they go on and on about how Robert had black hair. Hmmmmmm...

  8. Vicki- do it! I'm on book 5 and I fucking love them all.
Goheels: I think Lyanna is his mother and Rhaegar is his father (I kno, I kno, very far fetched)

  9. OMG I was just coming back to post something about Lyanna possibly being his mother.

I'm only halfway through Book 2 so far...

  10. I think his father is Robert Baratheon and his mother is Lyanna Stark. I haven't read the books at all, this is pure speculation.

OR I think his real father is Uncle Benjen, mother unknown. Upon rewatching of the first season, he looks a LOT like Uncle Benjen or Robert.

As for Sean Bean, sure he loves a wedding because afterward there's always a reception with lots of booze.

  11. Anybody else sploosh for Jaqen H'ghar?

Is Lyanna Stark in the show? I don't remember her.

  12. OMG I have NO idea what ya'll are talking about!

    ReplyDelete
  13. and @Vicki, did you say "sploosh"?!

  14. @Vicki - Hell, yes! That guy was so hot.

Lyanna was Ned's sister who King Robert was in love with. She was dead before the show began, but Ned and Robert went to the crypts in the pilot for Robert to pay his respects and ask Ned to be hand.

Book readers, I am spoiler adverse, so let me ask this carefully... in the 5 or 6(?) books that are published, are you saying they still haven't resolved who Jon Snow's mother is? OMG! So without giving revealing "what," have they at least resolved what happened to Benjen Stark when he went North of the Wall season one? GRRM better not die before he finishes these books!

  15. Em, yes I did. lol That guy is so hot.

  16. Em, you GOTTA watch Game of Thrones! It's amazing! You can, uh, watch it on watchseries.eu. At least that what I heard from the, uh, people in the office.

  17. I'm in the middle of the 5th book and we do not know who his mom is. Lyanna won't be on the show, she died before the book starts but I'm so sure she is Jons mom. I think Jon is the song of fire and ice so his daddy has to be Rhaegar. I'm a total nerd for these books and show. And vicki- jaqen is my favorite.

  18. R+L=J. It is known.

Seriously read the books, my boyfriend can't believe how many people think that, but he skipped reading the first book and just read the rest. I don't know how anyone could get thru book 1 without thinking that. Ned obsesses over Lyanna every 5 seconds.

  19. We're all going to have to wait til book 6 to see. Martin promised his parentage would be revealed eventually.

I'm freaking obsessed w this series, so sad I have til wait another year for season 3.

  21. There is a scene early in the books where Ned recalls making a bedside promise to Lyanna -- many believe that was when he swore to protect her baby (Jon) and "hide" him as Ned's bastard, but it has yet to be resolved officially.

I agree, one of my deepest fears is that GRRM (who is neither young nor physically fit, and takes 5+ years to put out each book) will die before finishing the series! 2 more books to go, I believe!

On topic: Bean has a rep for drinking, but do we know for sure he has a past reputation for verbal and/or physical abuse? Georgina Sutcliffe's accusations were (I believe) all about calls and texts, no physical abuse. I'm not condoning verbal/written abuse, but it would not be the first time a divorcing couple said horrible things to one another. Is there any chance he's really not an awful person? Does anyone know his history?

  22. Lil miss - I know someone told you we don't know who Jon's mother is but to answer your other question, no there is still no resolution on benjen either

  23. Ahhh, I like Rhaegar as an option for the real father. I've rewatched the episodes multiple times, and when Ned says goodbye to Jon he doesn't say "you are my son," he says, "you are a Stark."

Do you guys think Jaqen is Arya's Bravosi dancing master with a new face? I noticed that in the scene where Jaqen says goodbye to her, he actually calls her Arya Stark. How would he know her name otherwise? He's gotta be Syrio.

I'm going to wait and read the books after the show is totally over. The show is SO GREAT without knowing what's going to happen next. As much as I'm tempted to read the entire series during the off-season, I'm afraid it would spoil the show for me.

  24. @Vicki - GOT, okay, now I get it. I'm dying to see it, the last time I had cable was right before the series began, and it looked so good. Thank you, I'll go to the website your, uh, friends recommended. :)

  25. Love you Silver..it is known. I'm glad others agree with R+L=J
I also believe that Jaqen is a faceless man who was also Aryas 'dance' instructor.

Thanks for that. Damn, GRRM knows how to build suspense. He put things in book 1 that won't get resolved for another 6 volumes? Damn, that is commitment.

@Meg, I know, right? We should send him vitamins or something. I read somewhere that he is a newlywed. Maybe his new wife will keep him young. Hopefully she doesn't distract him from writing.

  27. ooh Vicki thanks for the link to watchseries!!! Dying to watch Season 2 but I don't have HBO!

  28. I have to say, I read these books years ago, and then again recently while watching the show, and stupidly, I never once questioned that Ned was Jon's father. After reading these theories here though, I am totally on board with the Lyanna and Rheagar theory! I always wondered how Lyanna died, since all Rheagar did was kidnap her, and in Ned's musings he always thinks about how the room was full of blood, which could easily be from childbirth. I don't think he is Roberts though, since they always go on about how Roberts bloodlines is so strong that his children are obviously his, and Jon is obviously Stark. GRRM throws you off the scent of that with his hints about Ashara of Dorne possibly being Jon's mother

  29. That is not true about Sean Bean getting married again so soon. I frickin' TOLD him that I wouldn't marry him!!!! Hee hee.

  30. @LittleMissSmoke - GRRM married his wife Parris recently, but they have been together for many years. I think he's very sweet with her when he speaks of her in his blog! Re. distractions, I think the NY Giants are our bigger threat there, LOL.

@ LA Mac - I think that Jon is Lyanna's (many references to his Stark physical traits) and Rhaegar's, and Ned swore to claim him as his bastard because he and Lyanna both knew that Robert would kill Jon for being a Targaryan (his romantic rival's child, as well as another contender for the throne).

    ReplyDelete
  31. @Meg Good to know! Football season's not for another 8 weeks or so, hopefully he's writing 50 pages a day until then.

As far as Jon being half Targaryan, it totally makes that scene where he learns that Maester Aemon of Castle Black is Aemon Targaryan that much more rich with meaning. It would make Aemon his great uncle then. Love it!

  32. I think Jon can only be Lyanna and Rhaegars. The story that Meera Reed tells Bran in the third book, the tale of the laughing knight only confirmed it for me. Also Danys visions in the house. Of the undying also kinds confirm that L+R=J. The dragon has 3 heads!!

  33. Ned is getting married again?? Do you think it will be a WINTER wedding?? Love me some ASOFAI and Game of Thrones. GRRM better resolve all the questions or the fans will hurt him.

I wonder what his house looks like?
Do you think he has a room with charts and maps and family trees?
He better let Arya meet up with Jon again and not in a bad way.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Also chiming in on Lyanna and Rhaegor being the parents.

Yes to all your deductions above, adding the references to Arya looking like Lyanna and her and Jon looking alike. They are the only ones who resemble "true Starks" the other children have the Tully reddish features.

    ReplyDelete
  35. That was his curse. Robert would swear undying love and forget them before evenfall, but Ned Stark kept his vows. He thought of the promises he'd made Lyanna as she lay dying, and the price he'd paid to keep them.
