  1. Beyonce is keeping the shorts and booties trend alive - yuck!

Cally Rae Jepson should have said no to those shoes.

Love Bette and her real looking face!

  2. Awww.. that photo of Chris Hemsworth cradling his baby is priceless!

  3. I didn't post at all yesterday and I don't think I ever have on reveal day. But those GOOP reveals were awesome! The comments were super entertaining too. Thanks folks!

I second the adorable Thor + tiny baby.

  4. Aww, Chris Hemworth's baby is so tiny compared to him! She's the size of his head! His expression is so heartwarming in the second photo, like he's in awe of having such a big responsibility.

Carly Ray's outfit looks fun and summery. Very glad to see she's not skanking it up.

  5. Hilarie's husband has cankles and his shorts look too small.

  6. Love how Chris H. can’t stop looking at his daughter. So cute...

  7. I love how Chris H. is with that baby. He just seems head over heels.

  8. Am I the only one who thinks the Chris/Elsa pics look like a cleaned up Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston?

  10. Chris Hemsworth being a daddy. *le sigh*

I say this with all the love in the world for a fellow houston girl - Give me a fucking break, Beyonce. Shit.

Poor Dakota. She ended up being relatively unfortunate looking.

I love Bette Midler. She's one bad bitch.

  11. If I didnt love Chris Hemsworth before Im obsessed now. And why didnt my chest get big like Hillary Duffs after my babies?? Not fair. Really like Dakota Fanning, bad makeup though.

  12. I love that dress too!

I don't get Anne's fiancé. He looks gay, I wonder if the gay guy in front of them is with them. Oh well, at least he carries her bag.

What a treat to be acknowledged by your husband, Gwennie! All those years of devotion and looking the other way finally paid off!

  13. Chris! Joe!

    **swoon**

  14. Chris and the baby are adorable.

I still don't like high heels and shorts, I think shorts call for some sort of cute sandal.

I don't care for Anne H., not sure why.

  15. OMG. Nothing as sexy as a hot man being a doting father. Look at him!

  16. That's a really bad angle on poor Dakota. She looks adorable in the other photos from this set.

Anne Hathaway looks like a crazy person in that get up she's wearing.

Why do I think she's an a** in real life? Just sayin'.

  20. THOR THOR THOR THOR THOR THOR THOR

I didn't "get" the Chris love. Then I saw Thor two weeks ago. THOR. There are post-it notes on my kitchen cabinets that say "Thor 2, 11/15/13". THOR. I've watched it five times so far.

THOR. I have never had such a crush on an actor/character before. He makes me feel stupid. Thor + tiny baby = DONE!

  22. LOVE yesterday's post on the goopster.

Off topic, but why isn't anybody (CDAN, dListed, Perez) posting anything on the demise of Ted?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thor looks fucking hot with that baby.

You guys, I don't remember where I got my dress, but I'm glad I don't have to hideout anymore and can finally be seen out in public with Joe now that Magic Mike press is finished.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Damnit Joe, no flip-flops with jeans. Ugh.

Other than that, you're still hotter than hell.

  25. Awww...there's nothing quite like a great big man and a little bitty baby, is there? She's got Daddy wrapped right around her wee finger, doesn't she?

I don't think Dakota's unfortunate looking, and it's refreshing to see someone going w/their natural skin color as opposed to turning orange. What she reminds me of in a way is Tilda Swinton--they're both extremely fair, and their facial features just disappear if they're not accented a bit w/a touch of makeup. (IIRC, Tilda wasn't wearing any makeup when she got her Oscar, which led to complaining about how "washed-out" she looked.) I don't remember if Dakota's hair is naturally that light (I could swear I've seen it a different shade in the past), but she may want to stick w/a slightly darker blonde for the sake of contrast with her skin tone. Strictly MHO, of course...

  26. Ted the movie?

Is Joe ManJello's piece wearing a jumpsuit? Ick!

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Little Miss Smoke and Mirrors
    That. was. awesome

  28. What's so great about Thor? I could go to rotten tomatoes, but EmEyeKay, you seem familiar with this movie....What gives?

No, I haven't even seen The Avengers yet. I wanted to see it as my first 3-D, but in my city, they stopped showing it 3-D really quickly, and I'm still bitter.

I came to also say---the brute/baby photo makes me squeeee!

AND I think Dakota is gorgeous. I love natural blondes, though, and redheads who are crystal-white. I'm hot for those color dudes, though, so I'm predisposed to loving that look.
She's not a crackie! She can act! Where's the love for the girl who does things right? *pout*

Shout out to Enty-thanks for all your hard work as ever but especially for the incredible reveals and readers’ pics. Take the rest of the day for being a good boy. *mwah*

  33. Bette Midler should be in the photos every day. Or at least a couple of times a week.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hilary DOES look good. You can tell she's losing her baby weight at a realistic pace. Her blouse is very flattering there.

Jessica S should see how strategically loose can be better when you've got a few extra. Not those sausage casings she wears!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hilary does look great. The weight baby weight is coming off at a nice pace....I like that she is taking her time, but the effort definitely shows. Her hubby is ugly, though.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Libby, don't bother with 3D. I saw The Avengers in 3D and 2D, you aren't missing anything. It's a great movie, though. You need to see it before it's out of the theater!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Dakota is a natural blonde but not THAT blonde. She dyes her hair. Even as a kid her hair was darker than that. I'm a natural blonde, when I was a kid my hair was white.

She gave me an autographed copy of her then book "The Saga of Baby Divine" and autographed a hilarious picture postcard that I had from San Francisco.

This is a copy of the postcard on line at the address below. Look for:

  54. Let me preface this with the statement that I have no kids and don't get the goo goo gaga of it al but there is nothing sexier than a man adoring his child.
Also there have been some unflattering pics of Dakota lately. That one with Elizabeth Olsen the other day made her appear to have cankles. As someone else pointed out, she'll be like Glenn Close. Extremely talented and mostly known for that. And may I add an amen at this part. Talent should be the rule.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oh and I'll say it: The lighting in the picture with Anne and her fiance makes it look like he has an armadillo in his trousers.

  57. Agent**, I saw her during the Kiss My Brass tour and she was awesome. She can still belt one out. I even bought the cutest shirt from that concert. I wonder what happened to it? I still have a framed poster with Dolores the fish girl. Bette has one of the best walks ever. I love those tiny prissy steps she takes. I read her book "A View from A Broad" years ago and laughed my ass off.

  59. Did Ted Casablanca get fired? I can't imagine that he's leaving willingly.

What's the details, Enty? Nosey butts want to know.

  60. THANK YOU @Sherry!! Thought I was the only one thinking/noticing that elephant trunk (being single/divorced/44/haven't gotten any in YEARS, thought I was just imagining it!) Going back to stare at it again now....

  61. @libby - THOR is amazing bc of that seen when he walks out shirtless in front of Natalie et al. The man's body is beyond stellar. Honestly, not so impressed with film on first viewing. Watched it during the Marvel nerd-a-thon before Avengers and fell in love. Then got to watch him in Avengers. I think I would watch them both again right now if I could.

Joe ManJello must be with someone tall bc he's freakishly tall. Like 6'5". I know these fact bc I like giant mens (see above).

    ReplyDelete
  62. EmEyeKay, I had the exact same reaction while watching Thor, except it was:

LOKI LOKI LOKI LOKI LOKI LOKI LOKI

I have such a mad crush on Hiddleston now. Oh, my.

Libby, even though I fell for the anti-hero, in the movie Thor, Chris Evans epitomized the "God come down to Earth" look. He looks like a living Greek sculpture. I'm not a huge fan of muscles, but he doesn't look bulky in the movie, just like he is a perfect specimen of the genetic possibility of mankind. Well, the white version, anyway. If you prefer your spectacular male specimens to be of color, Idris Elba plays another Asgardian, and OMG, I'm going to have to go take a cold shower now. Those men!!!!! It's kind of a crap movie, but Thor, Loki, and Heimdall are magnetic characters. And I haven't even mentioned Stellan Skarsgard, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins, Clark Gregg as our beloved Agent Coulson... (That fucking Nick Fury lied, dammit! We're going to find out what really happened in the next flick.) When I die, I want to be reincarnated as an Asgardian female, please.

  63. (Yes, I have a lot of feelings.)

  64. @Agent**It: Oh, good! Was that the Ghiradelli ground sweet chocolate? I usually use regular cocoa powder a la Hershey's, but I was using that particular Ghiradelli product back when I could get it cheap at my local Trader Joe's, and it was indeed even more lethal than normal. I don't believe I've ever met Himmmm #2/TG; a little quick Googling says he's a jam band musician (among various other things), and that's a scene I was never part of, although now I think I know which Himmmm went to Chris Cornell's wedding. ;-) (But I don't know anyone in the Seattle music scene! Curiouser & curiouser...)

Beyonce is such a tool. And sorry but I don't get the fascination with those helmsworth or whatever brothers. Seriously how hot can u be if your engaged to Miley cirus. Yeeesh

    ReplyDelete
  66. I love Joe, but why do his shoulders look inverted in this picture? Maybe I just hate the girl he is with for the simple fact she is with the father of my future children, therefore it makes me automatically dislike the picture.

    ReplyDelete
  67. To the "Unknown" readers,

I think the readers share this info because we care that you don't get picked upon :)

  68. I say this every time I see him in pics, but good lawd is Chris Hemsworth a hottie! And with his baby? too freakin' adorable! *swoon* And thanks to Em for the heads up on Thor 2!

Also, I do NOT believe he slept with Miley. Sorry, I just...no.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I don't think he slept with Miley either.

@mooshki - I HATED Loki at first, but then I saw Hiddleston doing PR. He is so freakin' funny and handsome and charming. Love him now. But really wish they would change that horrible hair. It makes his forehead look horrible.

RDJ is still my most favorite Avenger. Maybe Iron Man needs some acupuncture? I read something about RDJ being a big supporter and I know Gwynie loves it too :)

  70. Yes, he does have bad hair. :)

  72. Interesting about Ted leaving E! The other day I downloaded the E! app for iPhone. I read the reviews and everyone was complaining that the latest update had omitted Ted's column. I guess now we know it wasn't an oversight....

    ReplyDelete
  75. @Robin: where do i find your brownie recipe?

    ReplyDelete
  76. @kj: Ask and ye shall receive!

    **************************

    Double Chocolate Espresso Brownies

    1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup white flour (I use unbleached)
    1/2 tsp. salt
1 heaping tablespoon instant espresso powder (find in ethnic section of grocery store)
1/3-1/2 cup cocoa powder (depending on how potent it is)
1 stick (1/2 cup) softened butter
    2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (use the real stuff, for God's sake!)
    1 cup/6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine all dry ingredients in bowl; mix well. Add butter and cut in to the point of having smaller pieces instead of big hunks of butter, then add the eggs, 1 at a time, and beat in. If the dough is way too stiff, add cool water a tablespoon at a time, until it's liquid enough to stir well and spread in the pan, but not too runny. Add vanilla extract, stir in, then add chocolate chips and mix until well-blended. (Back when I was young and foolish, I used an entire 12-oz. package of chips, which really turns these into solid rocket fuel; my musician acquaintances and I, alas, are now all getting old and just can't handle that anymore.) Pour/spread into greased 11" x 7" brownie/biscuit pan, or 8-9" square pan, sift 1 tablespoon of white sugar over the top of the batter (or cinnamon sugar if you're going for the cappucino effect), and bake for about 25 minutes or so in a pre-heated 350F oven--check brownies regularly, and test with a toothpick or broom straw. If the batter is still gloopy, pop 'em back in for another 5 minutes or so; if the top is reasonably firm overall and crusty-looking, they're probably done; just try not to let them get too hard around the edges (which is damn tricky, so sometimes I just cut the edges off)--these are much better slightly underbaked than overbaked. Let cool enough that you don't burn the hide off your tongue eating them, and cut up in whatever way works for you. Enough to make you & several of your friends wired for days; they're really the best flavor-wise the first couple of days, but no one I've known has ever turned them down on ground of staleness.

    Bon appetit! :-)

(And no, I've never made these w/pot or hash, especially because weed is too damn expensive for the amount needed, although I've always been curious as to how they'd turn out. I suppose melting the butter and steeping the green stuff in it before straining it out and letting the butter cool might be the best for extracting THC, but I can't tell you for sure. If any of you do try it, though, let me know how it turned out, OK?)
