Considering all the problems that Dr. Paul Nassif and Adrienne Maloof have had recently, it should not come as much of a shock to anyone who has been reading my easy blinds on this couple that they were on the outs. Apparently, Paul is going to file some papers this week saying so long to their marriage of 10 years. The whole thing plays out right in front of the cameras this season on RH-Beverly Hills. In fact, this season is turning out to be a pretty good one without much interfering by the producers. There are a good three story lines that are playing out.

ReplyDeleteI didn't want to believe they were having trouble because I thought it was cute how they bickered only bc I imagined it led to make up sex or them being sweet to each other in private :(
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding? They had absolutely no sexual tension building between them. The one time I can remember them showing any physical affection was maybe a peck and it was the most awkward thing I've ever seen. Think LIsa Marie and MJ. I even think at some point they went on a hike and he asked her to hold his hand and you could feel the stress of that minor bit of affection caused her.

He can do much better.
ReplyDeleteI really liked her the first season, but after that she just seemed like another mean girl. Paul can do better, and probably already is
ReplyDeleteThat's sad! I like those two, maybe not as a couple, but I like them. Paul was very nice to me when I spoke with him on the phone, and I've only heard great things about him from people who've met and worked with him. I wish the two of them only the best.

ReplyDeleteMy radar was so scrambled with these two. I couldn't decide if they were on their way out, or if their relationship was to snipe at each other and keep each other on their toes.

Does anyone know how old she is? Even if she was young enough to actually give birth to 3 kids she seems waaayyyy to high maintenance/self involved to actually do it.

Mmm, that's sad. But good, if it means that they can find new lives apart. My sense with both of these is that they'll land on their feet. Paul is truly loveable, and while Adrienne is a bitch sometimes, she's got some good traits. Or at least I can say so until next season, when apparently all hell breaks loose.

ReplyDeleteI love Paul too. I like his little twinkle. He and Adrienne are more like bickering siblings than husband and wife. I only remember seeing their children once and OMG, what a trainwreck. Adrienne couldn't handle any of 'em.
ReplyDeleteWhat I really wonder is what's the deal financially? I read where the Maloofs don't own the Palms anymore. I saw the episode where Adrienne and Paul went to see the BB team the family supposedly owns and she talked about having to move the team to another city due to $$$.

And Remember a blind I thought about a housewife getting divorced, or maybe it was an actual story about Betthany saying she was getting divorced? I can't remember but if it was a blind, it must have been about the Maloofs. I'm just remembering something bc I know I told my sis that Betthany was DEFINITELY getting divorced and she actually got mad at me lol!!! Oops I was wrong.

Adrienne and her brothers are throwing away the family fortune at an astonishing rate. They sold their one solid business to hold onto their sports team - it's a much better status symbol than a distributorship, but nowhere near the guaranteed steady income. They sold off all but 3% of The Palms, and they have zero cash flow.
(But it's irrelevant to the separation - they had an iron-clad prenup. Speaking of, Enty isn't quite right - Paul said he's filing papers for legal separation, not divorce.)
