Patti Stanger Is Going To Be Fired

Patti Stanger was in the middle of a huge controversy last year when she made homophobic and anti-Jewish comments. Bravo almost fired her right then and there but Andy Cohen, who is gay and Jewish stuck up for her and Patti lived to fail to match another day. Now though, Patti may have even gone too far for Andy to do anything. Patti apparently hit a crew member last week when she became angry at him for some slight. If you a crew member hit Patti, what do you think would happen to him? Exactly. If Bravo lets her stay, they will be condoning violence in the workplace and that you should get paid a lot of money to hit your employees.

  1. I can't stand that bitch; it's difficult to take advice from someone who can't keep a man and who seems to treat her employees like shit. Hope she gets what she deserves.

  2. What homophobic & anti-semetic comments did she make? Amd why did Andy help her keep the job?

  4. Umm, they need to fire her. If not, the crew member could sue her AND bravo, which I would recommend he/she do. That's BS and she needs to be disciplined.

  5. She looks like a drama queen and a bitch.

  6. Interesting, she's Jewish.

Also, I know that she does speaking engagements for Jewish groups. (My mom attended such a luncheon last year and found her to be obnoxious and hypocritical.)

  7. I watch a ton of Bravo shows and I hate Patti's show. She needs to be gone. Didn't I read somewhere recently she found a new guy and is adopting a child? poor kid--she's a mean person--you can tell from watching her on tv she is 100% fake.

Bravo has a new matchmaker show starting in July I think anyway so they don't need Patti.

Speaking of Andy C....did anyone see his new game..."Turn Me Tuesday" where he has his female guests compete to turn him straight? Denise Richards and Tamra from the OC Housewives were the first --and Tamra was too embarrassed to do much of anything. Andy's hit a new low.

  8. Good Lord. It's like these people have never heard of Title VII or vicarious liability.

  9. Patti is a hack. She sucks balls at matchmaking. She's nasty to her staff and the men and women who come to her as clients and potential matches. I can totally believe she hit somebody. Fire her ass - there's nothing enjoyable about her show.

Andy is just getting retarded because he had to put himself on air five nights a week. Andy isn't interesting enough to be on five nights a week. Get over yourself, Andy.

  10. She doesn't bother me. And sometimes, someone needs a slap.

We're all so Goddamn PC now, and that to me is even worse then letting us be the bigot slapping assh*les that we naturally are.

  11. She is a very unappealing human, and these tales of her awful behaviour bear that out. Take her off the air! No hitting!

    ReplyDelete
  12. It is one thing to be 'too PC', which I agree can be a problem. But losing your temper and resorting to physical violence isn't really a question of being PC...

  13. Oh no! Who will tell grown men they shouldn't be dating little girls now??!

  14. I must be the only looser who has watched Monster in Law on A&E, as routinely, people get slapped, or something thrown at them, 'tis life.

  15. Is this person a celebrity? I've never heard of her.

  16. She is difficult to watch. I can't stand the way she calls women millionaires "millionairess"... as in the term "millionaire" stricly refers to men...ugh.

Add females to the list of people she's offended.

  17. Loser is spelled with one o and you don't hit co-workers. Period.

    ReplyDelete
  18. see....I'm such a loser, I can't even spell it. How do we know what the employee said. And how do we know she actually hit, like really socked the worker. We don't. Christ, in this day in age it could have been nothing more then a brush, or a writing tablet thrown at them.

All I am saying is sh*t happens, emotions erupt. It's the ones who are at the same level all the time who really worry me.

  19. I agree that we have become ridiculously PC. Also, who is this person?

  20. blondegossip, she told Andy Cohen in an interview that "Jewish men lie," and that "There is no curbing the gay man." (inferring that gay men are incapable of monogamous relationships).

I watched a couple of episodes of the first season. What struck me most was how she tutored the gold diggers, um "bachelorettes", in how to dress which was basically just like her. No variations. Oh! And the cattle calls for meet 'n' greets was just so ridiculous.

  21. Wow, zero impulse control.. Total psycho

    ReplyDelete
  22. Can't stand her. Basically, she tells her 'millionaires' they can find true love if only they change everything about themselves. What's wrong with being yourself? You can't pretend to be someone else all the damn time.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thanks KZoeT! Very rude/ignorant comments. I've never watched that show.

  24. I am with everyone else. She is a vile cretin of a woman who degrades and verbally abuses people. She is mean to the women who come into be matched she is down right angry when someone is prettier than her or speaks back about her shitty advice.

She is also a horribly fugly woman and that's part of her bitter nasty attitude. She is a failure at more things in life and thinks she can dispense advice on how to be the ultimate gold digger. She is disgusting and as trashy as the people she matches.

  25. LOL Not really related but his reminds me of legendary punk band FEAR. Singer Lee Ving had a song with the line "For the land of the free, and the Homo Jews..." The other members tried to reason with him that Gays and Jews ran the music industry, and they cant offend all of them, so he lessened the sting by changing the line to "...and the Homo's too...".

  26. I'm not bothered by a Jewish woman such as Patti making comments about Jewish men. Is it anti-semetic if it's your people? What is bothersome is the Millionaire Matchmaker, who says she comes from generations of matchmakers, can't hold on to a man. Granted I think it would be hard for a man to be on a relationship with her but as a rule I don't go to a hair stylist whose hair is a mess nor would I work with a 40 something single matchmaker.

  27. Did she hit a Teamster? Because if she hit a Teamster, she's dead meat.

  28. @detown359: people buy goods and services from people who are hardly fit to promote them. People still take advice from psychologists whose lives are out of control, men buy clothing from Marc Jacobs (despite him wearing skirts/kilts everywhere for years), women take clothing advice from Karl Lagerfeld (despite him looking like a horribly dressed corpse), popular cooking shows are headed by anorexics, magazines are filled with beauty columnists who are no beauty queens, and there are hairstylists that do fabulous work but have rats nests for hair.

The point is, Patty can offer great advice and still not follow it anyway.

  29. Can't stand this show, and Patti needs to be fired.

@blondegossip - Looks like we have the same name lol

  30. I love Patty and her advice. But of course, let's called an agressive woman a bitch.

Yes, people do and those people generally get what they deserve. I don't go to car mechanics who take the bus either. Yes, there are exceptions to the bad/psychologists good advice rule, but they are few and far between. If I want good matchmaking/relationship advice, I go to people who are successful at it.

Patti is a loser as matchmaker! How many successes has she really had? I can only think of one, but they are now divorced.

Actually, Patti set-up one client who got a date pregnant and refused to pay child support. I'm too lazy to google the details of that, but Patti won't discuss it.

I think Patti is very intuitive about people, but her 15 minutes of fame are up. Her matchmaking service has been on the skids for some time.

  32. She is such a sick person. Ugly on the inside AND the outside. I don't usually pick on people's looks, but it's true. I read her book and I used to even watch the show, but she's such an obnoxious, hypocritical joke anymore that I can't stand her. I'd love to hear some of the stories Chelsea has...

As far as being anti-Semetic against your own people...

  33. I get the PC thing but saying it's ok to hit or even throw something at a co-worker is just not cool. People drive me nuts at work all the time but I can't hit them. I'm an adult and professional.

  34. The crew member should press charges. Enabling abusive celebrities - especially ones with no discernible talent or intelligence - just makes life worse for the rest of us in the business.

    ReplyDelete
  35. By the way, Millionaire Matchmaker is about 90% faked. A buddy of mine was one of her men on the first season. He is not a millionaire, nor did he want a girlfriend (did it for a lark.) He was told how to act & edited to look completely different from the nice mellow guy he is. Faked and engineered. Just like nearly all reality TV. Not that the audience seems to care.

  36. OOH, Hendrix!!!!! Love it!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm sure Monster in Laws is just as real as the commenter pointed out Millionare Matchmaker is.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I dated a guy who "Attended" a casting session, AND 2 of the millionaires on the show. What Hendrix says is right: they totally stage everything, tell them what to do/say, send over "butlers" if they need to beef up a millionaire's story, etc. As for the guy who went to the casting session, they scouted him out on Match and asked him to come. Then when he wasn't selected they tried to get him to go on a date with Patti! Lucky he has a lick of sense and said thanks but no thanks.

  39. Patti is a bully, period.

The new show is much better.

  40. the crew member who's hit can pretty much decide what type of house he wants to buy in a-list side of hollywood. hell it'll be completely paid for by the idiot chick and your employers and you get to keep your job. sweet... there is a god.

    ReplyDelete
  41. hey union crew guy, you just got a house completely paid for in the a-list section of brentwood, the type you see in real estalker by the crazy train bitch and dumb production company and you get to keep your job. sweet...really is a god, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Another reality show that's staged!!! Say it ain't so! ;)

I enjoy this show like most of Bravo's train wrecks.

The fact that they are telling people how to act on this show makes me feel better. Most of the people on the show were whackadoodles, so it wasn't a big surprise they needed help in the first place, but now that I know it's all fake, I can sleep at night.

  43. Bravo has become the low-class no-account ignorant bitch of the NBC channels. Congrats guys. Patty Stanger belongs there.

  44. When did simple consideration of another human being become something other than having manners? All of this too PC talk really seems to be either borne of laziness or sometype of repressed angst over not being able to be ugly to people.

Is it really that hard to treat another human with some level of respect and move your own way? Really? Get real.

Well as a gay man living first in SF and now in LA, I wasn't offended by Patti's comment that "There is no curbing the gay man." It pretty much fits the behavior I've seen over the years in the gay community, and any gay man who says otherwise is either delusional or lying.
