More Bath Salts Madness - Naked Zombies Everywhere

I hope somewhere there is some agency that is keeping track of the number of these bath salts attacks that cause people to want to eat flesh. One of the more scary ones happened in Georgia. I'm actually shocked the man wasn't shot and killed. I think in Los Angeles he would have been. What happened was the 21 year old came running at police while he was naked and swinging a golf club at him. Oh yeah, he would have definitely been killed here for doing that. Anyway, police tried pepper spray. Didn't even make the guy blink. They tasered him numerous times and he just kept coming. Finally, after the 14th taser, he went down and it still took lots of officers to hold him down and get him secured. The entire time he was telling the police how he wanted to eat their faces. I'm pretty sure there is someone writing a script to a movie that will cost a few thousand bucks and is going to involve an army of people on bath salts and how they take over the world.

  1. Jebus, wouldn't he have burst into flames after the 14th taser?

  3. I know I should not ask but curiosity is getting the better of me, are they orally ingesting the bath salt? injecting? sniffing? How are they abusing this ish?!?!

  4. Just something about all these "zombie" stories seems forced and not right *sigh*

The first guy was not on bath salts. Just nuts.

  6. Ive only heard of that type of behavior coming from someone who uses PCP, i mean, Ive watched someone high off their ass on PCP running full speed thru a wooden fence like it wasn't even there. i'm sure these 'bath salts' are very similar to PCP, but they are NOT zombies unless they died and came back to life to feast on human flesh. These people are drug induced cannibals! There has been enough zombie movies out, i don't get why they're still being called zombies.

  7. where is George Romero when you need him.....you can't make this shit up! so there was a case over in asia too...good. it dosen't just look like an american thing.

  8. All I know is, every scary Zombie movie I have seen (I have seen lots, check out Zombie Ninja, totally awful fun) at some point early into it the CDC puts out a statement declaring there is No Zombie Threat. A few weeks ago, the CDC did just that. Hmmmmm. I have my escape plan and copy of Max Brooks books on hand. *wink wink* seriously though, I am not buying the "bath salt" explaination at all

  9. cute!yet a reboot of WAR ZONE Z

NB:maybe the guy was under PCP or crazy or the story is only garbage

  10. @MontanaMarriott - snorting

    ReplyDelete
  11. btw, my friend had an interesting theory.
he said you know mad cow disease? what about a similar strain, a bacterium if you will, that infects peoples brains and makes them crazy. he said animals forced to (unnaturally) eat other (same kinds) of animals-as in sheep forced to eat sheep may have caused all of this. oh drunken theories! or are they?

    ReplyDelete
  12. MontanaM-forgive me if I'm totally misunderstanding your question, but are you under the impression that they're ingesting Calgon? If so (and that was my initial impression, so I had to look it up), what it actually is is a manufactured drug that causes all kinds of weird freaky stuff to happen - hallucinations, paranoia, etc. It's sold in places like smoke shops as "bath salts" and labeled "not for human consumption" for legal purposes. (However, 3 of the chemicals used are illegal.) People take it in different ways - snorting, shooting, mixing it with food/drink.

Here's where I got my info:
    http://www.webmd.com/mental-health/features/bath-salts-drug-dangers

    ReplyDelete
  13. I put this somewhere else but I'll also put it here:

Bath Salts - snorting. HOWEVER - because people who resort to snorting bath salts are accustomed to snorting coke or meth, they tend to make much LARGER lines than they should (according to happy bath salt users).

For this reason, people freak out because they unintentionally (naively) do waaaay too much.

That is from a well-adjusted occasional bath salts user on Reddit. (all paraphrased)

    ReplyDelete
  14. ... because apparently it's necessary for us to know there are "well-adjusted, occasional" bath salt users.

  15. The face-eating guy wasn't on "bath salts" - http://miami.cbslocal.com/2012/06/27/medical-examiner-causeway-cannibal-not-high-on-bath-salts/ - nor PCP, nothing stronger than marijuana. So likely he was just insane.

  16. My friend said he is getting a tattoo on his chest saying "Not intended for Human Consumption". Goofball

  19. Genetically modified foods, medicines, and vaccines it was bound to happen. Don't worry, the CDC wants you to be prepared http://www.cdc.gov/phpr/zombies.htm :) Also, these officers apparently forgot the most important rule of all: double tap.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I just can't process this recent face-eating trend while high on some strange new chemical. The world is scaring me in ways it never did before. What is going on, yikes.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Twriggy...first is Cardio (sadly I'm so in the poor fat bastard category!). Double tap. LOL. Love that movie.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thanks Twriggy - ha ha ha the CDC site is pretty cool. They say that if you prepare for a zombie apocalypse you should be prepared for most disasters so they support zombie preparedness. They even have a blog.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @BigMama
I concur! I'm a flesh eater (they actually aren't zombies) aficionado and know the drill. The CDC does some cover-up crap about "drugs" or some such nonsense being the cause and bam! Flesh eaters everywhere!

The first guy (case) was not on bath salts!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Was this guy really on bath salts? Or are authorities just throwing that out there like the Miami case, which ended up not being true. I read another one of these face chewing incidents happened in China. The guy was just drinking then lost it - forced some lady off the road, dragged her out of her car and started chewing. I don't know what is going on, but its not "bath salts", which sound foul btw.

  25. Enty, you're right, L.A. cops would have taken his ass out in two notes.

  27. I've watched Intervention for years and the most messed up person was the bath salts guy. It wasn't until that episode that I had heard about bath salts. Holy fuck, that guy was in bad bad shape. And he didn't get off them.

And no, I have offered no browser advice :) Just my html skillz.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Not to defend bath salts, but they were not involved in any of these cases. So that leaves the next logical explanation. ZOMBIES!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. watch, they're gonna say only herb was in his system.

"IT'S THE POT...he was on the POT"

  30. I'm going to keep calm till I see Soylent Green in my freezer section.

    ReplyDelete
  31. **** I don't buy that miami coroner report. Besides, how do we know how long these bath salts stay on ones system. What we do know, is that all drugs tests really only bust herb tokers, b/c it's the only things that stays in the system for, what could be over a month!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm not buying this bath salt madness! Bath Salts = Bull Shit.

Crazy high people will use any excuse to get away with bad behavior. Just sayin'

    ReplyDelete
  33. @omama they already are -.-

I'm still wiping the crust from my eyes.

  36. Noone has their face eaten in this video, but it's still fricking terrifying...

    http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/82367180/

My stepdad is the health director of the county this was taken in, and I dont plan on visiting anytime soon!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. @OMAMA is BROKO - problem is that it is super expensive to develop tests that detect some of the newer drugs, and they pop up so soon that it is sometimes inpossible to test for the new stuff. Still possible that the guy had taken stuff that they didnt have tests for yet, or that they broke down quickly in his body.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The world is becoming more and more insane. Calgon, take me away.

    ReplyDelete
  39. What makes anyone ever hear about bath salts and think, oooh yeah, that sounds like fun?

I mean, you hear that cocaine can be fun and heroine makes you feel blissed out so I supposed I can imagine the allure (tho I myself am scared to death of da drugs) but I have never heard a single appealing thing about a bath salts high...??

Oh, and a guy here in our small town died of bath salts a few months ago. Now I hear his girlfriend just did too.

    ReplyDelete
  40. @Rose, pun intended? CALGON (a "bath salt") take you away? ;-P

  41. Last year a cop was killed in my town bc a guy was on bath salts. He thought the cop was a monster and stabbed him.

The movie script ENTY referred to is already out...I Am Legend...well, the cannibalism part anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Either way, no one's going to tell us the truth. Because the truth probably is it's a synthetic monster that the big pharm's created.

  44. I kind of think the whole "It was bath salts!" thing is bullshit, too. Something is going on and I don't think the authorities have any idea what it is, and they are trying to prevent panic. Plus, it just reminds me of all those episodes of "Buffy" where the principle and Sunnydale police would explain the supernatural happenings at the school as "Some gang members on PCP!"

  45. "Syfy" channel movie with Lou Diamond Phillips as the put apon sherriff and Kari Wuhrer as his single mom love interest.

You can flip those too, by the way!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I also heard the first Zombie attacker who ate the guy's face - he only had weed in his system. Does that mean the poor gentleman had the WORST. MUNCHIES. EVER. ?

(That joke was in poor "taste", I know. Sorry. Oops, accidental puns are even worse).

    Mankind has lost it's mind.

    ReplyDelete
  47. This whole face eating business is some scary stuff.

On another note, does anyone know if there is a video of this incident?? I'm not going to lie, I love a good tasing.

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Ingrid - love that one. My eldest and I have a long standing date once a month on Sat to sit around watching bad SyFy movies and take bets on who dies first. I find it takes the edge off my week. ;)

  49. Oh, and Lou is in a new TV series my husband tortures me with. Love Lou, hate hate hate Wyoming.

    ReplyDelete
  50. It peeves me off greatly that they said nothing stronger than marijuana was *found* in the crazy face-eater's system.

Dammit! We'll NEVER get pot legalized!!!

    Gyahhhhh

I mean, I know the newfangled weed is far stronger than the old dirt we used to smoke, but dayum!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Also, Calgon gave me a painful something "up inside" when I was a teenager, so no thank you. Didn't like the shit when you just sat in it, and I sure as hell ain't snortin' it! Haaaaaa

  53. @selenakyle - girl, you kill me!

Oh, and in reference to the "munchy" joke - that was totally a groan moment.

Ok, so back to the Zombie escape route I'm planning. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  54. @OMAMA, I'm with you...not buying the Miami coroner's report, AT ALL. As a Floridian and long ago employee of the State Attorney's Office in an adjacent county to MIA, I know how...creative...our local and state cops can get.

Seriously, government conspiracy, testing on our US population before taking this overseas. My husband has it all mapped out (not in a nutcase way, though...we just love a good conspiracy theory).

Love the Soylent Green and Zombieland references. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Cornbread, I think your husband needs to shop that story to Showtime or HBO....

I think this is soooooo scary.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I heard the Miami guy was high on pot and not bathsalts.

But seriously, what the FREAK is wrong with these people? Why would you take bathsalts when this keeps happening?

It's scary that they seem to become extra strong when they take t.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The thing about bath salts is that it's a synthetic drug, with an ever-changing recipe used to keep it legal. It's hard to detect and pinpoint it in people's blood because the recipe is always changing. I truly believe the man in Florida was on bath salts, and maybe they couldn't detect that particular recipe in his blood.

Either way, it's very scary. Legal speed, and easy to procure.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Ok, so if these drugs are not the same thing as what people bathe in (correct?), then why are they called "bath salts?" If they are sold for something other than human consumption, what are they sold to be/do, and if that purpose is not as a bathing substance, who decided they should be named after a bathing substance? I get so confused...

    ReplyDelete
  59. I just don't get the "Bath Salts"= Zombie Madness either. Months ago around in winter we had two men take bath salts and strip naked and fell asleep in the snow. Now this is literally Night of the Living Dead country in Pennsylvania. You say zombie we shout George R.

Did they screw with the formulas to make everyone go violent? The only thing these rocket scientists wanted was to sleep in the snow, not want your nose on rye bread with Mayo and a dill pickle.

Hey' I just met you, and this is crazy,
But I'm on bath salts -- your face looks tasty.

    Just sayin'.

    ReplyDelete
  62. @cornbread, ditto. Will not believe one word out of that office.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @snglmom73 - my eldest and I have several versions of that song. I just sang yours to her and made her spit her drink across the room. Thank you, thank you so very much!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Okay, CIA spooks, FBI, CDC, WHO, get the freaking bath salts off the market or give us all guns for the zombie apocalypse. Take mine. We have gun control, now we need Bath Salts control. Use the freakin bath beads, clean people.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Lori and Cornbread both said what I was going to. There are probably no tests developed yet to figure out what these "bath salts" really are, so they say nothing but weed was found in this guy's system; and I heard a theory that the government is developing a "super soldier" drug (tasered 14 times?)and testing it on unsuspecting Americans before supplying it to troops overseas--or domestically.

    ReplyDelete
  66. i too really believe this is something more. there is no freaking way that guy wasn't "on" something (Miami Zombie). i mean if you watch the video .. he was walking down the walkway like a zombie .. was ripping clothes of the guy throwing them right and left ... and just didn't stop ....

witness said he saw him chewing and swallowing flesh - yet they say there was no flesh in his stomach. BS!!

i think it's something too that our government is using to test on people ... kind of reminds me of the shit in the movie Max Payne .....
