Lebron James' Secret Love Child
I love a good coverup and love child story. Here is the background. While Lebron James was playing in Cleveland and with a longtime girlfriend, Savannah Brinson, Lebron was also supposedly having an affair with a Cleveland television reporter. Well, the Cavaliers complained to the news station and requested that Sharon Reed no longer be allowed to cover the team's home games. Done. The next thing you know Sharon Reed was pregnant and got fired by the television station for violating her morality clause. Uh oh. Want to know what she does now? By coincidence she now lives in Miami. Imagine that. What does she do for a living? Nothing. Huh. How does she manage that when she says that all she does all day is spend money. Oh, by the way, Lebron is now engaged to Savannah Brinson. Guess she doesn't care about the love child. (Thanks Malistah)
I was wondering the other day if he had ever cheated.
ReplyDeleteTV Stations have morality clauses? Who knew! How does Matt L still have a job?
ReplyDeleteMoney, money, money. MUH-NAY!
ReplyDeleteOr Kim?
ReplyDeleteC'mon Enty. Morality clauses don't exist.
Yes, they do. A tv reporter talked to a few of us during a Occupy movement protest. She allowed her personal views of Occupy ( which were pro btw ) be video'd and it ended up on YouTube .. She was suspended for four months for breaking her " morality code "
DeleteShe probably talked to Kobe's wife who said yeah they f*ck everything that walks, but we spend their checks, get that money girl at any cost!
ReplyDeleteKobes wife is an ass. She was taking half his money and still went back. Whyyy??? And she'll have child support on top.
DeleteWhy settle for half when you can have it all?? I think she's a genius! She probably got more out of bluffing to leave than actually leaving.

DeleteIm surprised when people dont cheat. At least he has good taste in women, they r both beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAn athlete that cheats, shocking! Weird part is the women look alike. Wasnt he the blind about making his fiancee have an abortion at 6mo so it wouldnt affect his endorsements?
ReplyDeleteWhen I worked for Fox Sports way back when, everyone, and I mean even down to the PAs, had to sign a mora
ReplyDeleteIty clause. That and signing an intellectual property clause are extremely common in news organizations and with studios. Depending on how much you've screwed up, the biggest offense was generally management messing around with a subordinate, they will ask you to leave or reassign you. A majority of the time the studios won't put up with BS no matter who you are and how high up you are when the offensive acts are major. So, don't be
I've everything you read and see on the TV kids.
Hell, when I worked at Best Buy there was a morality clause.
ReplyDeleteLiterally every company I can think of has a morality clause. Usually it covers drinking on the job or workplace attire, but it can also be used to defend against sexual harassment lawsuits by firing immoral people without having to go to a trial board.
I don't know who else watches Basketball Wives but it seems that all the bball-boinkin' chicks know what they're getting into.
ReplyDeleteAbout the show: this season was so bad that I don't think I'll watch again. Tami and Shaunie and Evil-Lynn were atrocious, even by reality standards. Royce, on the other hand, responded kindly to a fan email (I just had to express how much I love her, she's so cute and direct and honest and ... everything that a person on reality t.v. shouldn't be).
My Father worked for a Newspaper for years and told me that there was a lot that they knew, but could not publish. He worked for them for 17 yrs. and took all his secrets to his grave.
ReplyDeleteSo, everyone knows what they're getting. The wife gets a husband who will cheat and not use protection no matter who he sleeps with, possibly more kids on the side in the future.
ReplyDeleteThe husband gets a wife who cares more about the money and fame than she does about a man who will never be a husband.
The girlfriend gets a ton of money.
it must be easier knowing your sleeping on a pile of money and are legally the Mrs.
ReplyDeleteShe looks really proud with that ring on.
Sharon Reed was here in Cleveland and so rude when out in public and off the air. A real case of "Don't you know who I am?" I wondered what happened and why she left so suddenly. I'm just stunned that the station she works for has a morality clause! If only they knew! lol
ReplyDeleteA morality clause??
ReplyDeletefirst time I hear of it. offensive and silly imo
Hardly. I suppose you also think sexual harassment training is silly and offensive as well.
DeleteSharon Reed! She got run out of Philly after a run-in with another newsperson at her station over a common romantic interest. I seem to recall someone's car was keyed or tires were slashed in the station's parking lot. I remember it because I was working a block away from the station at the time and used to drive by it on the way to the office every day.
ReplyDelete@HolidayinCambodia: Damn, this woman sounds like bad news, or at least someone who's willing to ruin her career over guys who probably aren't worth the trouble. She may be pretty, but pretty doesn't make up for crazy, does it?
ReplyDeletePerhaps LeBron will wise up after this and keep it in his pants, or at least wrap that rascal...yeah, yeah, I know, fat chance of that, but sometimes people actually do learn from their mistakes. Maybe Savannah's counting on that, or maybe she's boating on de Nile, or maybe she really is just a money-hungry gold digger...time will tell.
I'm a LeBron fan, so this may sound like I'm taking up for him. Not the case, because I'm not so naive as to think he isn't cheating. He's young, famous, stinking rich, on the road 6-7 months of the year, and women are killing to be with him. Pretty sure he's getting his in.
ReplyDeleteThat said---from what I've read on other sites, Sharon Reed is known to mess around with several athletes. When she was in Philly, she had affairs with Donovan McNabb and 76ers star Aaron McKie, supposedly. And apparently, she was 'married' when she was supposed to be with LeBron, meaning there's a potential Who's the Daddy situation here. She sounds like a real piece of work.
Do I believe LeBron messed around with Sharon? Probably. Did he father her child? Not so sure. But if he pays her to keep quiet regardless, she doesn't care.
Oh good grief, I'm so sick of this story. The baby is definitely not his. Sharon Reed was living with the father, who the beautiful baby looks just like - even having his blue eyes.
ReplyDeleteSharon Reed was and is a hot mess - I wouldn't put it past her to be creeping around with Lebron & other local sports personalities. The whole 'morals clause' issue is sketchy, though - the station let go a few anchors at the same time to make way to hire a more well-known anchor from another station.
Just one question: Is Savannah Brinson insane?
ReplyDeleteNo, make that two questions: isn't ANY woman in-fucking-sane to marry ANY basketball player? Or pro team sports player for that matter.
@figgy: LeBron and Savannah have been together since high school. At this point, I think they're together out of habit and by staying with her, LeBron doesn't have to fork over $50K a month in child support.
ReplyDeleteAFAIK, neither has had a serious relationship beyond each other. Savannah was with LeBron before he went into the NBA, and her identity is tied into him. She doesn't work or go to school. I think they love each other, but they would have been better served if they had dated others openly for a while.
Has she ever dated anyone other than Lebron? They do have similar physical traits. Can someone post the blind mentioned earlier in a comment?
