Kristin Chenoweth Gets Knocked Out On Good Wife Set

It's always a scary thing when you get knocked out. When you wake up, you can have the realization that you are very lucky to have awakened, or you can go back out and play some more football. In Kristin Chenoweth's case, she might have thought she was at a football game but was actually on the set of The Good Wife when she was hit in the head by falling equipment and was knocked out cold. Kristin was rushed to the hospital. The photo also makes it look more scary then it probably is because they always immobilize you like that with head injuries. Or if you have had topo much to drink and they are scared of you because of your size.

  1. She's a lightning rod for accidents on set. Jeez!

Hope she recovers and nothing else falls on her!

  2. Maybe if she ate more she would be more aware of her surroundings and less frail.

  3. Maybe she's a lightning rod for accidents because karma's a bitch. Chenoweth is a heinous bitch with a capital B, stomping on people she considers lower than her. My brother works security at a night club, and of all of the celebrities that he's encountered (many), he said she was by far the worst. He was under the assumption that people don't actually say the phrase, "Don't you know who I am?", but she proved him wrong.

  4. Forgot to mention his response, "No, ma'am." And he was telling the truth. She then proceeded to snap her fingers at him to get his attention more than once, and left no tip whatsoever for a VIP table of 8.

  5. Not familar with her stage work, but she seems to do lots of character work. Always seems to play a crazy diva character. Always assumed she was also cra cra diva in real life. A bobble head overtanned overbotoxed diva.

  6. Wasn't she the popular answer for the blind about the lesbian comic actress?

  7. Em, that's disappointing. I like(d) her; not so much now.

Does your bro have any other celeb stories? Who was the nicest?

  8. At first I read the headline as, "Kristin Chenoweth Gets Knocked Up On Good Wife Set" and thought, man, that Chris Noth works fast!

@Em Cue Em - sad to hear that she's such a bitch, but I'm not too surprised. The feud between her and Idina Menzel is pretty legendary - when they were both guest stars on Glee, they couldn't even be in the same scenes together, so I always figured that at least one (if not both) of them was a bitch of epic proportions.

  9. Was she hit by falling equipment when she passed out at the Emmys too?

    Oh no wait..that was "exhaustion"...

  10. I just love her. Em Cue Em, can I just choose purposely not to believe that? Oof. There's no chance he got her confused with, um...some other really short blonde actress/singer? I thought she was supposed to be one of the sweetest people in the business. I hate to hear this. :-/

  12. I've always liked her too--sorry to hear about that behavior.

I read that she had a seizure after she regained conciousness so it is probably good they have her in the hospital to observe and make sure she is ok--head injuries are scary.

  13. @ Vicki Cupper: Best tipper: Aaron Rogers of the Vikings. He got plastered and wanted to take a go on the lucite swing the bar girls sit on, so they went out of their way to comply even though he's an absolute giant. He tipped out the ass to every single person working the VIP that night, even the security. Was respectful and friendly the whole evening.

My brother's favorite is still Chuck Liddel, though, because he got trashed and puked on my brother's shoes. He felt awful, apologized several times, and even slipped him $100 bill in addition to the huge tip he left.

Nick Lachey is an awesome tipper who cares a great deal about his wife, according to my brother. Said that they were so in love it made him sick.

Worst (excluding Kristen): Kellan Lutz asked that the bar girls not make eye contact with anyone at his table, including the girl serving their beverages. Seemed to think that they were trying to hit on him just by looking at him.

  15. Best news of the day - Aaron Rogers is as nice as I hoped.

Nice to hear about Nick, too. I always thought he was genuinely nice.

    Thanks Em Cue Em!

  16. @Em - do you mean Aaron Rodgers of the Packers? Just want to make sure so I can love him more.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Shit, I didn't mean to say Vikings, I meant Packers. My husband would be horrified. We're not Packers fans (Redskins for him, Colts for me), but definitely huge NFL fans. Seriously, whoops.

    ReplyDelete
  18. LOL. I tried to not take offense seeing as I Hate the Vikings.

  19. Em, that doesn't surprise me about Kellan Lutz. Kellan Lutz has started referring to Kellan Lutz in the 3rd person. Kellan Lutz was just looking out for Kellan Lutz because Kellan Lutz is a BIG, BIG STAH!

  20. @Ms Cool: Yeah, that wasn't lost on me. Hilarious that I not only attributed him to the wrong team, but picked the Vikings. Sorry about that. That would have been like someone a few years ago saying Peyton Manning of The Patriots. I probably would have had a coronary, lol. I'm really lucky he's playing for the Broncos this year, because I only like 3 NFL teams: Colts, Broncos, and Giants.

  21. i dont know if you saw a part in one of the games last season where they showed a bunch of photos aaron rodgers photobombed. it was pretty funny.

im a big broncos fan myself. im glad we have manning now, but sad to see tebow go.

  22. @Em - you must be so sad about Peyton. I was pretty busted up about Favre until his true colors came through. I like Peyton - he is a great player.

@faye - I think there is a website devoted to Aaron's photo bombs. I think he did it for long time before people caught on. I'll look for it.

  23. @Em thanks for the info, your brother must see it all working at a club like that!

I had never heard anything about KC but I always thought she might have a screw loose since she dated Aaron Sorkin. Enjoy his work, but the way he writes women is something of a red flag to me.

  24. @Ms Cool: I am DEVASTATED about the Peyton situation, it was bad enough leading up to his leaving, but then to know that he didn't even get a proper send-off...... It broke my heart. I feel like the Colts are one of the best franchises in the league as far as moral standing goes, and so Peyton fit so perfect within that. He was the nilla wafer to our banana pudding (forgive me for stealing that from my favorite guilty pleasure tv show, Awkward). The worst part of the whole thing will be when we play the Broncos, though. I won't know who the hell to root for. I am an absolute die-hard Colts fan, but my love for Peyton Manning is nearly as strong. I might have to take a valium and nap those games out.

  25. LMAO, I don't know who Aaron Rodgers is, but those photos make me love him!

  26. @Em - it will get easier. It may take a couple years, though. It was pretty tough with Favre but he eventually kept making it easier and easier. However, his behavior was devastating itself. The Packers are so huge here and the fans became divided for a while.

You'll be able to root for both teams with the exception of the dreaded match. It is great that he'll be such an icon for your team forever. I think Peyton is a pretty neat guy outside of his football talent.

  27. Em, thanks for the scoop!

I cant wait for the NFL to start!

  28. My dad works out at the same gym as Chuck Liddell sometimes and LOVES the guy. Says he is so, so nice, polite to everyone, friendly, chatty. And my dad is in his 70s!

Doesn't surprise me one bit about KC. I said in the posts yesterday I tried to like her but couldn't get over what an idiot she was on AI.

@ Em Cue Em: I am disappointed beyond belief to hear that about Kristin Chenoweth. I always heard she was one of the nicer ones. I have a friend that dated her once briefly.

  32. I am surprised about Kristen. I have only heard nice things about her. I also have personal experience. She sang a song called "Borrowed Angels". It's about people who die too soon. Really beautiful song. She was still in New York at the time and I wrote to her and asked if she would come and sing the song at a memorial for my mother. I had sent the letter to her agent in California since I didn't have a NY address.

About a month later I received a very lovely handwritten card telling me that she was sorry that she hadn't gotten the letter until then and how the song helped her with the passing of her grandmother.

She didn't have to do this, but she did. I thought that this was an extremely nice gesture and very UNdiva-like.

  33. I remember hearing her say on Jay Leno that she is extremely accident prone because she has vertigo a lot. Not that this was her fault... and I am sorry to hear she is such a wench. I liked her. As for the football talk - LOVE IT and feel your pain - I am a die hard Eagles fan and a die-hard Donovan McNabb fan... yes i see you shaking your heads.

  34. As a Bears fan, it pains me to know that Aaron Rodgers is a nice guy! Haha. I want to hear bad, bad news about him because I feel guilty for liking him as a person :)

And now I'm glad for the alias---they'd kick me out of Soldier Field in a second!

  35. @stacey - I liked McNabb!

@blister - I try to like some of the Bears but I can't think of any... Butkus, Peyton, and McMahon - too old school? I really don't like Cutler or Urlacher but I knw Cutler and Rodgers are friends. I guess I like Knox and Forte.

  36. I like Aaron Rogers too. I'm a Steelers fan, but my 2nd fav are the Packers. Was sorry about the whole Peyton thing - hope he's happy in Colorado.

I'm also sorry to hear Kristin Chenoweth is such a bitch - I always liked her.

  37. Pfffttt! "Vertigo" sounds more like blood sugar issues due to not eating enough.. sorry...
May be reading alittle more into this but that woman looks very concerned and is holding her hand. Anyone know who that is?

  38. The idea of The Iceman Chuck Lidell drunkenly puking on people cracks me up.

  39. Isn't Aaron Rogers the guy who does the Discount Doublecheck commercials? If so, he's a cutie.

Can you tell I don't really follow football? Pretty much baseball all the way round these parts!

  40. G, I've heard similar stories. That's why I was only half-joking that I hoped that Em Cue Em's brother MIGHT have gotten her confused with some other tiny blonde chick. :-/

  41. I'm new to here since a housewife blog led me to the reveals, now I'm obsessed with CDaN. It replaced Gawker who stopped doing blinds. What I love so much about everyone here is that everyone is free to comment, nobody complains that it's OT, we are all having a conversation. At Gawker IF you're cool enough to get your comment approved it can only be snarky. But here we have random conversations like one of you was sick last week and others asked about it, it's so nice here.

  42. Haha, I live in Vikings territory. Maybe someday, when he's old enough, Rodgers can come play for us, too. I've always had a soft spot for the guy. It's probably the Florence Nightengale effect after watching him get sacked 50 times 3 seasons ago.

  43. Hey Alex, remember when Green Bay went to the Super Bowl in 2011? The one dude I really liked from the Vikings was just arrested...

  44. Aaron Rogers of the Viking? Every cheesehead on the planet just had a coronary....

  45. Everything said about Aaron Rodgers here is 100% true. I had the pleasure of working with him for a while and he is a total class act. Very kind, smart and generous guy-funny too! Even if you hate the Packers, you can't hate on Rodgers, he rules.

I would've liked to have seen him on that swing, haha!
