Ginny Weasley Is Single Again

So much for Bonnie Wright's engagement to Jamie Campbell Bower. It's over. She moved out of their house. I think what happened was that you just can't combine Twilight with Harry Potter. The world just can't handle it. Then, when you get a situation like Jamie or Robert Pattinson who starred in both the two worlds collide. It is kind of like how George had two worlds on Seinfeld and needed to keep them separate. I think most people have two worlds. Think about your work world and your home world. Do they really ever combine seamlessly? Mad Men aside, it doesn't usually work that well. Of course, maybe that is why they are always drinking on that show.

  1. I have no idea who these people are, but that is some dress. Even with tape I would be freaked the whole time I was wearing it. I would, with my luck, have a major wardrobe malfunction in that frock.

  2. are these two even old enough to drink? and they planned to live happily ever after....ah, yes, young love is optimistic and stupid all at once...

i am not suprised when any Hollywood couples split up. I"m much more surprised when they stay together for longer than 5 years...

    2. jamie is 23 and bonnie is 21 so yes they are old enough to drink. even if they weren't old enough to drink legally in the states they would be in their home country of england. but they can legally drink in england and america, happy now? at least they're older than miley and liam. and broke up before even getting married

  3. Back when I worked the only time work and personal lives combined there was drinking involved so that is the only way.

  9. Wow, Jamie is gakked out of his mind here it seems.. Never liked this girl or her portrayal of Ginny in the movies, she just radiates this mopieness that i can't stand. I'm sure they will have no trouble finding new lovers..

  10. Alicia, you have to name someone in a reply to respond directly to them since there's no quote function here. :)

I like Bonnie Wright, thought she was good as Ginnie. Good casting, they got her so young and had no idea that she would grow up cute as she did. I blame the director and re-writes of Half Blood Prince for screwing up the way their relationship developed in the books and making it almost impossible to believe.

  11. I don't know if it was direction or actIng, but there was something wrong with her portrayal of Ginny. Mopeyness is a good way of describing it...

  13. @FS, smartphones have a Reply option. I never use it because on the desktop version, the Reply comment appears chronologically so sometimes you have no clue what someone is talking about.

So all that to say, I believe that is what Alicia was trying to do. Unless you know that, then I'll just STFU.

I also don't like the reply function because then you'd have to scroll through the comments to see any new ones rather than just scroll all the way to the bottom.

  14. I didn't love her as Ginny...mostly out of jealousy.

Good on them for ending a relationship that obviously wasn't working.

  19. He's a pretty good actor if Camelot is any indication. She almost single-handedly ruined the Harry Potter movies by being such a stiff on screen. By the 2nd or third movie it was obvious that she wasn't cutting it. They should have found a replacement with some talent for the latter films in the series.

  20. That guy looks like he's about to say, "Dude! I'm gettin' a Dell!"

Or he's wondering where his dog, Scooby-Doo, is.

  21. Jamie Campbell Bower was in Twighlight AND HP Deathly Hollows Pt 1...

Thought he was good in Camelot and Sweeney Todd

  22. Robert Pattinson was in HP and Twilight, so . . . I pretty much think this theory is a crock.

  23. sorry, Twilight :)

  24. @linnea - I kind of felt the same way, which is why I think I wanted Harry/Hermione to get together instead.

Bonnie is only 21, so I'd say that's probably a good thing.

And Enty, my husband and I DEFINITELY have two worlds (work/family, mostly) and we reference this episode all the time.
