This upcoming all-star edition of Dancing With The Stars will be the final one for Derek Hough. Apparently he thinks he is going to be a movie star like his sister Julianne Hough. If she keeps having bomb after bomb though, you might see her back on DWTS before you know it. Her music career didn't work out too well either. Not sure what acting ability Derek thinks he has or why he thinks that quitting DWTS will suddenly get him other jobs. There was nothing but a lack of talent keeping him from getting roles while DWTS was on breaks. He probably has some agent telling him he can be a big star if he comes and signs and Derek believes it. Hey, I am all for anything that gets him off my television screen.

ReplyDeleteI always liked how Pine-sol has had the same lady in their commercials, it shows loyalty which makes me wanna only buy Pine-Sol. Lady does a good job at selling it.

That being said, he is an idiot for leaving a paying job where he is a *star* to pursue unemployment checks.
His sister seems talented and he and Mark Ballas are actually pretty good as a group. But him leaving? Maybe Ryan Seacrest (who is "dating" his sister) has promised him a position ... in his conglomerate.

I think he is probably the best choreographer on the show but he never fails to slightly skeeve me out by being way too involved with his partners.

ReplyDeleteHe's such an amazing dancer, and I think he's sweet. He's a cutie but unless he's doing comedy, or a full time choreography gig, I think he'll be back on DWTS in a year. I have no desire to see him do anything except make fun of himself or dance. I friggin love ballroom, it's all I will watch.
