Bristol Palin's Show Being Replaced By Dance Moms

Well, it doesn't happen often, but Lifetime has been so disappointed in the ratings for Bristol Palin's new show that her time slot is now going to show Dance Moms. Meanwhile, Bristol will move Bristol's show to 11pm. They would probably pull it completely but since they already paid for it, they figured they might as well air the rest of them. There won't be a second season for the show which means that Bristol is going to have to actually find a job. Her most recent episode only got 750,000 viewers despite the huge publicity push and the lead in from Dance Moms.

  10. Every now and then, something restores my faith in mankind. Now she'll have to get a real job. Just kidding, she'll figure out a way to get another show or go on an incredible hypocritical speaking tour.

  14. Dance Moms is doing well? I watch it sporatically but I still teach dance 2 nights a week and I get sucked in to dance shows of every kind. Abbey is over the top but every now and then she says something to a student or parent that I wish I could say and get away with it.

Back to Bristol - go back to Alaska and stay there this time - quietly.

  18. LIFETIME is making the dumbest programming decisions of any network. They claim in all their "what we're looking for" statements to agents and producers that they are trying to class up the network and get it to the level of a Showtime, HBO, AMC. But then they buy shit like this. Bad, bad leadership at the top.

  20. There was an amazing moment on Dance Moms where the Abby Lee lady was carrying a dog in a stroller and then the rival dance instructor came by with her crew, pointed at her, shouted something like "Look at her that's not a baby in the stroller, she has a dog for a baby" and everyone laughed and they showed a close-up of Abby sad and it was like I was watching a John Waters TV show and Divine and Mink Stole were battling again and I freaking loved it.

I haven't watched it since though...

  22. So glad to hear this, What made Lifetime think anyone is interested in this dumb heifer in the first place? She's as stupid and bitchy as her mother. She needs to go back to Alaska and stare at Russia from her backyard with her dimwit mother.

  26. I sometimes wonder what personality disorder Abby has, whether it's straight up histrionic or a constellation of histrionic, narcissistic and antisocial. At times, she's a straight up psychopath: flat affect, extreme affinity for rage and hate and violence, absolute lack of empathy for others, lack of startle response, etc., etc. She's quite a creation.

  27. I didn't know Bristol had another show on Lifetime, so I never watched it.
Now that I KNOW she has a show on Lifetime, I'm still not going to watch it, but now it's ON PURPOSE!
