Blind Items Revealed
May 28, 2012
What B- list actress who seems to be on everything, but is really just on one hit show and one middling show and a movie here and there spends a significant portion of her time and income helping out military families. About a year ago she ran into a woman who was barely out of her teens and had a baby and her husband was going to get some leave but didn't have time to come all the way back home from Afghanistan and then go all the way back. So, our actress paid for the mom and child to meet the dad in Europe. Since then she has contributed money to other reunion efforts, managed to get a lot of sponsors to donate things to help out other military families and will speak anytime and any place about her passion for helping them.
No idea who this is, but that's great!
ReplyDeleteno clue who she is, but she is a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteAw that's sweet, I'm glad that girl from community and mad men is nice. She was even good in Scream4
ReplyDeleteDont know who she is either but good for her!
ReplyDeleteVery nice of her, but B- list? Never heard of her.
ReplyDeleteYAY!
ReplyDeleteShe plays Trudy Campbell on Mad Men and Annie on Community! Great to hear this!
Bless her heart!
I *love* this.
ReplyDeleteAs I recall she was the popular guess, but it makes me happy that it's definitely her - Trudy FTW!
How could you have never heard of her?? What are you people watching on TV?!
ReplyDeleteLove love love her!
I didn't realize who she was until I googled her- Trudy Campbell! Good on her for doing something so selfless and admirable. We need more people like her in the world.
ReplyDeleteahhhhhh Pete's wife! thanks @Little Miss
ReplyDeleteShe also played Emily Blunt's sister in 5 year Engagement (shush - I liked it!)
ReplyDeleteIt's easy to see that Joel McHale really likes her, and his opinion is good enough for me! :)
ReplyDeleteHells Bells, Trudy! You rule!
ReplyDeleteLove! Hate her character on Mad Men, but I love her on Community!
ReplyDeleteLove her!
ReplyDeleteI love her. She is a good actress and very funny. I hope she makes it to A-list status soon. Glad to know there are still good people in the world.
ReplyDeleteAwww... what a doll!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Allison!!!! I met her at a film fest a few years ago and she was such a doll! She played the craziest character in that film. Can't remember the name but Olympia Dukakis was also in it.
ReplyDeletehave no clue who this is .. but this is the way it should be. those who are abundantly blessed helping those who are without.
ReplyDeletebeautiful gesture and a great example.
looks like she was/is on Mad Men
ReplyDeleteTrudy! How lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love Alison Brie! She is so awesome!
ReplyDeleteAw, I love her! And this makes me love her more.
ReplyDeleteAlso, for once it seems Ent got her status on the nose. She doesn't really have much name recognition but her face is familiar; when you tell people "Annie from Community/Trudy from Mad Men" then they immediately know who you're talking about. So B- seems about right for her.
I love Allison Brie... so glad to hear that she's a good person too.
ReplyDeleteNice kindness blind!
ReplyDeleteWinner is all of us.
ReplyDeleteHowever ... 1st Place ..

What a wonderful human being. Continued success to her in the future.
ReplyDeleteIt was funny that I was watching Community (back in its first season) and had no idea that Annie was the same actress as Trudy, until a scene in which Abed acted like Don Draper with her and all of a sudden I saw Trudy in Annie and couldn't unsee it again. Until that point, I had never even had a mental twinge that she was from another show I watched. (Makes me wonder how many things in life I miss when no one spells it out for me.)
ReplyDeleteshe's a-list all they way! (at least for me, she's on community)
ReplyDeletethats awesome
I always thought the character was Truvy..
ReplyDeleteI've never left a comment before but the kindness BIs warrant some positive reinforcement (it's the behaviorist in me). Even if they are not really blind, they are still worth recognizing. I love these more than the shocking ones (INFJ, go figure).
ReplyDeleteShe's great in both shows. Seems really down to earth and smart in interviews. Good for her. I love kindness blinds. :)
