Blind Item #1
What former D list Tweener from a fairly big tween hit show has been making his living selling information about the star of that show who has been in the business long before she even hit tween. Her unwanted entrance into the spotlight about a topic was all because of him. He has a substance abuse problem.
Raven Symone and that guy who was just arrested for DUI
ReplyDeleteOrlando Brown.
ReplyDeleteIs it one of the kids from "That's So Raven"? I know there was a lot of talk about Raven being gay earlier this year.
ReplyDeleteGood job, goheels.
ReplyDeleteI was going to suggest one of the boys from iCarly, since Miranda Cosgrove has been in the business a long time, but I don't know about anyone on that show having abuse problems and nothing gossipy has really come out against her.
Raven was on the cosby show as a babe. That's so not raven tho Orlando Brown!
ReplyDeleteAndy Griffith has died. :(
ReplyDeleteYou guys are awesome....LOVE the CDAN family!
ReplyDeleteI think it is the dude whow as on Hannah Montana. He was just arrested for DUI as well and was kicked off his latest Disney show because of it. Just a thought... His name is (looking it up) Mitchell Musso.
ReplyDeleteVicki, Nooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood job goheels83.
oh no Vicki :( :( :( That makes me so sad.
ReplyDeleteOh,no. Not Andy! *sniff*
ReplyDeleteI'll take this moment to strongly recommend A FACE IN THE CROWD. A great movie with an amazing performance from Griffith. It was very different from anything else he did in his career, very dark and twisted, but incredible. A must watch, IMO.
Wasn't one of the alleged Himmm's related to AG?
ReplyDeleteFSP - based on the research I did, yes. Talley.
ReplyDeleteThat's right. Couldn't remember his name.
ReplyDeleteYea apparently Talley is the one who took the fall when people were trying to expose himmmm or something. Stand-up guy, apparently.
ReplyDeleteSad! He lived a long, full life though. Loved him.
ReplyDeleteI liked him in that movie Waitress with Keri Russel! Rip Andy :(
ReplyDelete@Layna Day - Seconding your recommendation of "A Face in the Crowd." RIP, Andy.
ReplyDelete@rejectedcarebear - I LOVED that movie! I don't think I ever would've seen it, but it was one of my choices on a flight back from Hawaii.
ReplyDeletewhat a dick.
ReplyDelete@amber- that movie inspired me to start baking pies! Ive perfected my apple pie recipe so I may start making some crazy flavored pies like she does when this awful heat wave is over.
ReplyDelete@Layna Day - LOVE that movie! Makes a great double feature with "Sweet Smell of Success".
ReplyDeleteAwww, Andy. "The Andy Griffith Show" is available to stream on Netflix, by the way. I feel inspired to watch a few shows.
ReplyDeleteRIP Andy...
ReplyDeleteThey play him on the Comedy channel on XM radio (family version) where he re-tells classic stories and some new ones with his down-home flavor. Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet. Describing a football game. Hilarious!
Andy G. Was a fine actor. Face in the Crowd is a great movie. But more and more, I miss the character he played on the Andy Griffith show. Sheriff Andy was a smart, Dow to earth, just man. I wish more adults were like him, canny and humble, able to ascertain individuals and work with their foibles and prejudices. He strived to do the right thing and to do so quietly and without dramatics or ego. We could just use so much more of that type of role model than all of the self aggrandizing, vain and shameless reality celebs and most of the Hollywood stars and our Washington politicians - and lets not forget many of our news hosts.
ReplyDelete@Tigercat well said. ITA
ReplyDeleteI know someone who toured with Mitchell Musso a couple years ago and during that time he was a big pothead and drank a lot, but maybe since then he has moved on to hard drugs.
ReplyDeleteThere are way too many tween shows with way too many effed up tweeners, for me to even try to match them up with the various, similar tween blinds.
ReplyDeleteThey seem to all be screwed up, by their parents. Let's call it a day.
I was thinking drake bell/Amanda bynes, but it sounds like Orlando brown is right.
ReplyDeleteIt's Musso. The guy from Raven is on Bristol's reality show.
ReplyDeleteHannah montana was not 'fairly big' it was BIG.
ReplyDeleteThat's so Raven was fairly big imo. So I'm going with that one guy that just got arrested for DUI
What stories have we seen about Raven in the tabs though? I only ever see weight-related stories.
ReplyDeleteBut you're right, I missed the "fairly big".
ReplyDeleteAnd then I thought "a D list tweener, why do I care at all?" haha
Her friend sold the story that she is gay. It is Raven.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Orlando Brown/Raven. That whole Raven being gay seemed to come out of nowhere. He must not have made much off of that because it only seemed like a small news blip. I think the main reason it got glossed over is that Raven never tried to pass herself off as having a bunch of boyfriends, etc.
ReplyDeleteIf it's Orlando shame on him. Just terrible.
ReplyDeleteKyle Massey is on the Bristol show and he seems a fairly straight up kid. Can't imagine him doing anything like this.
*quietly sneaks away*
ReplyDeleteI could accept this being Raven, seems about right, but I don't buy Orlando. If you had to describe Orlando, your description would not be "a former D list Tweener." He's much bigger than that. The person is someone who once was on a big tweener show, but he had a small role in it, and (pretty much) that's all we'd know him from. D list means you recognize them but their name is hard to come up with, or you remember the name but can't come up with a mental image.
ReplyDeleteIt also says this is how the "former D list Tweener" has been "making his living," so we are looking for someone who didn't transition out of the tweener roles into stardom.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'm an idiot, every time someone guessed Orlando Brown, I read Orlando BLOOM and thought, but he's a HUGE star! Haha, never mind me; carry on.
