This Week On Britney Spears And X Factor

With no Simon Cowell this week at auditions because of his semi-annual I smoke three packs of cigarettes a day bronchitis, there was a different feel to the auditions. One big change is that Jason Trawick has moved even closer to Britney. Usually there is no one within a few feet of the judges. Sometimes even further. Jason can reach out and touch Britney if he wanted to. Think about if you went to work and needed someone to be there within three feet of you in case something happened. Do you think you should even be working? I also still haven't figured out why Britney needs a bodyguard at the judges table and no one else does.

  1. I'm going to the taping next Sunday. It will be interesting to see how she acts.

  2. Really this poor girl, it's just sad. I think it's good she has Jason because otherwise she would be completely alone and that would be even worse for that poor damaged girl.

    1. Is it do sad? She seems to have people that care about her with her. Unless do u think she isn't happy being a pop superstar?

  3. Oooooo!!! Strawberrygirl you MUST report back!!! You know we're all counting on you! =D

  4. Girl, you know I will. I'm only going to see Britney.

  5. She must be very fragile....too bad she's everyone's meal-ticket. Poor thing..
I saw her years ago when Diane Sawyer interviewed her
in her brand new apartment in New York (since sold).
I was taken back by how stupid she was, uneducated
unprepared for life. Her parents should both be ashamed for what they did to her.

    1. Amen sista. But maybe shes gifted in one way, but not very bright? Who knows.

    2. She IS gifted! I love her bc she's magic on stage and then u know she's not fake in real life. I find her "troubles" refreshing and it seems she's well cared for.

  6. "Oh my god, y'all, these heels are tricky. Why can't I just walk in my bare feet? Y'all didn't stop at Starbucks like I said. I need me a cig to calm my nerves. Why am I here again? That man in the tight clothes won't be here? Means I got to talk more? Y'all better be puttin' something extra extra in my sippie cup."

  7. That is truly sad. She must be in a state all the time.

  8. @strawberrygirl, I wanna second @hunter. Looking forward to your full report! (Please and thank you.)

  9. Awesome strawberry, can't wait. @MISCH, yeah I heard from someone who worked with her that she's really quite dumb. It's hard for me (as a smart person) to understand but I guess some people are just born that way. Uneducated is not the same as dumb but in her case it sounds like a double-whammy.

  10. strawberrygirl, can't wait for your 411.

Have I told you before that I love and covet your username? Because I do :-).

  12. Looking at the picture again, I must add - I'm super glad no one is following me around taking pictures. I am I world class stumbler and bumbler on a good day. This past winter, I ran errands for several hours with one pant leg completely tucked into my sock.

  13. *I am a world class*

    Also have typing issues!

  14. I will report everything back! I've always pulled for Britney because I grew up with her. She may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but she is a sweet person.

@Frufra I have you beat. I walked into a WALL. I had a bruise on my thigh for a week.

    ReplyDelete
  15. @Frufra - I agree totally!

I just watched the whole video of Brits arrival, and this stumble is barely noticeable. The rest of her walk inside (which lasts several minutes) is normal and her interaction with the fans is adorable. I am not a Brit-stan, but who could stand all this scrutiny?
    Not me.

  16. He was sitting at the producers table, which is right next the the judges table. There's nothing wrong with it.

  17. Oh, strawberrygirl I can't wait to hear how the taping went next week! I can't help but feel bad for Britney. It seems like everyone in her life is interested in her money & fame and no one is truly looking out for her best interests. She needs a real friend. :-(

  18. @hunter

yes she seems not have the common sense gene, my gran always said there's book smart and there's common sense and you really need both...it's hard to imagine what her day to day issues are. The things most of take for granted would be overwhelming for her.

  19. Just venturing a couple of guesses here: 1) He loves her and wants to be around her, feels protective even. Hell, I'm not famous but whenever I need to do something work related that involves leaving the house, my boyfriend insists on going with me. He isn't comfortable with me driving alone to a client's house to pick up items they have for me involving a project. Even though I normally just get them to leave it on the porch and rarely see them face to face, he still insists on driving me there and watching from the car. Keep in mind my job is perfectly legit and it's during the day.

    2) Perhaps it's also wise to keep an eye on her because (depending on her medication) she may have an 'episode' and he wants to be there just in case so that he can get her away from the cameras asap.

I have no contempt for this girl. I think she actually has done pretty well considering the journey she's already had through her life. I truly hope that the people around her are genuinely there with her best interests at heart.

  20. @strawberrygirl @frufra

I once punched myself in the face and broke my own nose. Beat that for clumsiness!

  21. What is up with Brit's left ankle? She's had an issue with some kind of injury in that same spot for months now. Any ideas?

    ReplyDelete
  22. I can never remove the visuals of brit brit picking her nose and farting. Never.

  23. If she suffers from anxiety issues she might find a lot of comfort in knowing Jason is so close. I know when my anxiety is that bad it helps enormously just knowing my boo is there within reach.

I have so much empathy for her.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I will leave a cheeto trail to my house, so she will follow me home! Then I will set her free!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I feel bad for britt britt too. didn't she confide in an 'everyday person' who(turned around)and sold the gossip? also, i think she was raped once and never recovered.
you just never know what anyone has been through.
she has no one close to her who doesn't have motives

  26. I mentioned this once before, but many years ago, a friend of mine (radio announcer @ a rock station) interviewed her (back when she was "well," and before any marriages). My friend said although very sweet, she was dumber than a box of hammers.

Oh my God, they're really protecting their investment, aren't they? She must be on every anti-depressant/anti-psychotic on the market. And if they dial down the dosages during taping (so she can be semi-coherent, I guess), Jason the Puppetmaster/conservator has to be close by with his hand on her back to pass her notes or whisper in her ear. Pathetic.

  28. So hard to believe this is the same Britney Spears from back in the day. I would watch the chit out of a no-holds-barred biography on this girl. Can't help but wonder exactly what happened to her. She went from a mature child to a childlike adult. So sad.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I was noticing her mother doesn't seem to around...she's the one who pushed Brit's career..

    ReplyDelete
  30. I know someone who worked on her costume crew for the Onyx Hotel tour. Said that while Britney is very very sweet, that she is very dumb. Said that the girl was practically illiterate and could barely read or spell correctly. Of course, that could have changed by now since that was years ago, but that's just what I was told.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I kind of wonder if Britney is fully capable of functioning but has become scared, disenfranchised and taken over by codependent enablers with their own agendas. BPD or Bi-polar, most do not need someone 5 feet away like a security blanket. I think these 'well-meaning' people have over controlled her to the point she has no confidence, feelings of competence or ability to survive on her own. But I bet if she got some independence and some group therapy she'd be ok without around the clock control.

  32. @ABlake your boyfriend sounds like a possessive tool who won't let you leave your house alone to do your own job. Just my opinion.

Every time I see Brit-Brit, I want to go find her, bring her back to my house and have her stay with me for a month. She really needs some normality in her life.

  34. brakewater, I can see where it comes across that way, but it isn't. He doesn't accompany me to the door or anything, just doesn't like the fact that I am going to a complete strangers house (though they are clients, I'm not the one who sold the deals). I'm petite and perhaps he spends too much time watching forensic files or something. He doesn't want me to end up being a statistic. "She went to his house to pick up brochures, RIP" sort of thing.

To be honest, I think I may get pissed if he DIDN'T come with me :)

  35. Whatever helps her keep it together. Jason is like her knight in shining armor. I just hope they last because we all know the alternative won't be pretty.

    ReplyDelete
  36. That picture is cracking me up. I also feel like it's a metaphor for her precarious hold on functionality, which is a little sad.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I thought Simon went to smoking rehab last year--did he start back?

    ReplyDelete
  38. @ ABlake , mine is the same way. He will not leave until he hears the click of the "top" lock .

    ReplyDelete
  39. Jason is one of the people who signed off on this latest moneymaking venture. He's no knight in shining armor in my book. He's clearly in a position to take advantage of her financially and otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  40. @Liz, I think her dad had to approve it too, and it provides her a break from touring, so I remain hopeful that she's found The One.

    ReplyDelete
  41. When a former manager/agent marries someone that rich and that broken willingly it's more than likely for financial reasons. It's all so sad. What really kills me is that mercenary mother who sold her out, she was a school teacher who allowed her to grow up with barely an education to be able to fend for herself as an adult. I absolutely loath her mother. Then she tried to repeat it with the next daughter. Who knows what sexual abuse happened to them under the uber religious mother's very nose.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yes, her father is her primary Conservator, which means HE also doesn't have Britney's best interests at heart. There's a clear conflict of interest when her fiancé and father are being paid by her.

While I agree, her mother has done a ton of damage, Britney has a mother AND a father. They both failed her. Initially her father straightened things out, but then began pimping her out via tours, new videos, etc., essentially the same as the mother.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I never thought Brit Brit was too smart. She always came across as pretty dumb and uneducated.

I think the mother was worse than the father because she was the one who started it all. The father is just trying to clean-up the mess. Brit Brit has two kids to support and no other true skills. Her financial options are pretty limited.

    ReplyDelete
  44. dont agree with the people that say she's dumb. I think that during her 'baby one more time' days that's the image she put out there: blonde- dumb bimbo, but to achieve her level of success you cant be *that* dumb
right now, she's probably heavily medicated 24/7
strawberrygirl looking forwards to reading your reports ! ;) have fun!

  45. [shoves mynerva and strawberygirl aside, steps thru...] Outta my way, children.

I fell out of the attic by way of the kitchen ceiling.

I currently have a huge bruise on my right arm, and a slightly smaller bruise on my left arm, and no idea how either bruise got there.

I finally convinced my husband to throw out our black lacquered bed frame (it was from his bachelor days, and we've been married for 12 years, so I slept on that piece of crap a LONGGG time) - he's a wonderful woodworker and is going to make us a bed frame but in the meantime, the box springs and mattress are sitting on the floor. So when I wake up in the morning, instead of stepping out of bed down to the floor, I have to stand up straight off the mattress. I can't tell you how many times I've fallen down while trying to get out of bed. The Hub thinks it's funny, but then he says people as clumsy as me need handicap parking tags and he's probably right.
