Thank you, Enty. People think I'm being a baby because I won't do things that require me to fly into the air on a piece of rope or cord. No, I'm not a baby. I just like my life too much. I don't need to taunt death to have a good time.
I'm going to show this clip to all of the asswipes that have made fun of me. They'll probably still make fun of me, but hopefully this makes them think for at least a minute on the dangers of such activities.
I'm like you, @nola. I never have been and never will be a thrill-seeker. In fact, I'm not even going to watch the clip b/c the description is enough for me.
Nolachickee, I've seen videos of bungee cords breaking, and getting wrapped around people's necks. And then there's the woman who just lost her leg after the zipline accident. Sure, they're safe 99% of the time, but who wants to be the 1%?!
I grew up in the country where rope swings, zip lines, cliff jumping are all just normal parts of our lives. I've done them a zillion times and never had an accident. After watching these videos I'm seriously so confused how half of these people did these things. How do their feet get caught? Why do they not let go right before the rope swings back? That's how you're supposed to do it. Maybe I should start a rope swing education program... ;)
LOL! ahh the rope swing! totally reminds me of my younger days...jumping off the bridge! my cousin got on a rope swing with her clothes on of course she got wet! what was she thinking?

ReplyDeleteHahaha when I saw this I was hoping Nikita would be on there. She's the very last "fail" on the video. She's so freaking hot. Love the curves :)
