Rhys Ifans tries to stay out of the photo with his girlfriend and soon to be ex, Anna Friel. Maybe she found out that...
Rihanna fans? These people wait outside her hotel all day and night.
Shaquille O'Neal on the set of Grown Ups 2 and
sporting a new do. Look how tiny the coke is.
Chris Rock was there with
David Spade and Alexander Ludwig.
Filming an entirely different movie were Scarlett J and Joseph Gordon Levitt.
Not filming a movie, but taking her rarely seen youngest son on a trip was Sharon Stone.
Willow Smith was doing some shopping.
The Zooey was a guest judge last night on SYTYCD.
i love zooey! and chris rock he just seems like a cartoon brought to life... doesn't really matter what he says he always makes me smile
ReplyDeletetatataratata circus tatatataratata afro, circus afro, circus afro, polka dot, polka dot, polka dot, afro!
Any guesses on what Anna Friel found out about Rhys Ifans?
ReplyDelete@Ana, Chris Rock doesn't have to say a thing and I'll still laugh. I love him.
ReplyDeleteI also love David Spade. Joe Dirt is my go-to movie when I'm sad. His commentary is awesome! I liked Grown Ups but mostly because I figured it was really fun making it.
Nice pantsuit, Rihanna. Always the flower.
Emma Stone and Rhys?
ReplyDeleteJoe Dirt is one of my favorite "so stupid but they just crack me up" movies along with Billy Madison, The Hot Chick, The Animal and Dirty Work.
ReplyDelete"...Look how tiny the coke is."
ReplyDeleteWell, I sure read THAT wrong first time! Yikes! :)
I'm not a big Zooey fan but she looks stunning in that photo. That color dress really works for her!
Looking forward to Grown Ups 2. Hope it's just as cute as the first one.
ReplyDeleteLove SYTYCD and The Zooey.
I wake up every day and hope that today is another day that I can see Sharon Stone squished into another unflatteringly tight outfit.
ReplyDeleteAnd why is that child 'rarely seen'? The 'rarely seen child" Blind Item was a married person, right?
Well, the little boy is adorable and looks very happy. Even tho his mother is batshit.
Delete@Ingrid, stupid funny movies are my favourite. I have to be honest, I haven't seen the other movies you mentioned but I do own Pootie-Tang, CB4, most Will Ferrell movies, The Ladies Man.. I know there are more.
ReplyDeleteI've probably seen every SNL movie except Superstar. I never found Mary Catherine Gallagher funny.
@Libby, I worked with a woman who dressed like that, just so she could tell you she was wearing a size 4. Just because it zips up doesn't mean it fits.
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you for the JGL!
ReplyDeleteanita - pootie tang is one of the most brilliant pieces of cinema EVER. Sadahtay!
Yes, anita! And just because you can still fit a 4, doesn't mean you belong in such hootchie gear.
ReplyDeleteAnd anita--I could watch any Will Ferrell movie over & over. I like his general group of costars---John C. Reilly, Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell, (even) Vince Vaughn. etc.
"Old School" never got the respect it deserved! SO MUCH funnier than 'The Hangover'.
What was that drama Will Ferrell did that was SO good? What was it called? It had Emma Thompson, Maggie G---and Will was subtle and heartbreaking and beautiful in it.
"Stranger Than Fiction"? Is that it? SO recommended. Loved it!
Why does ScarJo bug the crap out of me now? I used to like her, but every time I see a pic of her she comes off as a bit of a prat.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing Sharon Stone's kids will be writing the next generation "Mommy Dearest" book.
seconding libbys recommendation for stranger than fiction, i love that movie
ReplyDeleteThat was a great movie.
ReplyDeleteBlades of Glory might be one of my faves because my expectations were below sea level, I was expecting it to be awful. Instead I almost died laughing. Billy Squier's The Stroke has to be the cheesiest song ever.
@Diso, I love Wanda Sykes screaming, "can't a woman dress fancy and stand on the street corner and dance?" I'm paraphrasing but so damn funny. I offered some distracting links on the Amber Heard thread. Hope they make you feel better :)
Got have to jump on the Will Ferrell love train. He is absolutely TOPS in my book. His face just makes me smile. Mr. Frufra, aka Ron Swanson, knows that he's in trouble (or I'll at least consider it) if Mr. F comes on the market, moves to our town, and starts making eyes at me. It's a long shot, but, you've got to consider everything.
ReplyDeleteMy youngest has been obsessed with both Elf and Kicking and Screaming at various times, and I swear they are laugh-out loud funny, even on the 100th viewing.
I think he's so wonderful because he's hilarious and vulnerable and such an open book. I'm going to stop now, but he's the best! I've got to get Casa de mi Padre.
Have to jump, not got have to jump - got a little crazy there!
ReplyDeleteWas surprised at how much I enjoyed Grown Ups. I'm interested to see what 2 is like.
ReplyDeleteLove Will Ferrell too - I can quote most of Talladega Nights. I also loved Land of the Lost - it was hilarious! (in all fairness I had really low expectations)
ReplyDeleteIsn't Anna Friel supposed to be a big bitch? Can someone fill me in on that? And what did Rhys do? I've loved him since Vanity Fair.
Oh please oh please oh please don't let ScarJo get her hooks into JGL. He's waay to good for her.
I really can't stand the Smith kids, they are all brats with an attitude. Willow with that hair cut can't tell if it's a she or he.
ReplyDeleteI look at ScarJo with her reasonably normal curves and think of how difficult it must be for her to keep her weight in check, given how thin actresses must be to be able to get work. I bet if I saw her IRL, she would be tiny compared to everyone else I see. But compared to other actresses her age, she's positively Rubenesque.
ReplyDelete"Just because a girl likes to dress fancy and stand on the street corner next to some whores, you automatically think she's hookin'?"
ReplyDeleteFreaking LOVE. IT!
I'm gonna go over and check out the links now! Thanks, anita. :)
@anita and discoflux - I freaking LOVE Pootie Tang! Sign your pity on the runny kine. You my main damie. Okay, I'm done.

ReplyDelete@Disco, that's the line! That's way funnier than what I wrote. I'm laughing now!!!! Wanda Sykes and Chris Rock in the same movie! Gold!
ReplyDeleteLove your pic, Popcorn, I laughed when I saw that yesterday.
I'm still laughing thinking about how she's just standing there on the corner, all by herself, dancing away.
Frufra---Don't be ashamed. You described Will Ferrell's appeal very well. he IS fearless in his vulnerability, and seems unencumbered by ego.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't seen him in "Stranger than Fiction"---rent it NOW! But have a tissue ready; if you're a fan, his performance will make you boo hoo for sure!
@ Libby - oh, I've seen it. He's my boy.

ReplyDelete"Oh please oh please oh please don't let ScarJo get her hooks into JGL. He's waay to good for her."
ReplyDeleteUm, you don't have to worry; she's missing a certain appendage that is required to gain his interest.
We still say Chris Rock's "keep your daughters off the pole"..
ReplyDeleteI know you love her Enty, but Zooey was not a good judge last night on SYTYCD. I think Cat Deeley was getting a litte miffed with her and finally said "Don't tell me, you're speechless" because Zooey said that about a jillion times.
I can't stand Scar Jo....UGH! I have never understood what the deal is with her...she can't act and all she does is heavy breath through her lines. I didn't recognize Zooey. Wow! Like her when she's not trying so hard.
ReplyDeleteAnnoying personalities aside, the Smith girl is a prepubescent black female. Should she be looking for boob implants and throwing a weave back in her hair to conform to what people think a girl should look like? That's her natural shape and her natural hair. Just sayin.
ReplyDeleteI sorta remember a reveal awhile back about Rhys Ifans but I can't remember what it was about. Anyone?
ReplyDeleteMooshki...whatever do you mean?
ReplyDeleteWillow may be a little awkward now (weren't we all at that age?????) but you know she's going to be a runway model by the age of 17. All those girls start out tall/skinny/lanky and then blossom into gorgeous women
ReplyDeleteminerpoteet, I agree...people are so quick to snark on the overly tweaked fake looking people but as soon as someone looks "natural" they make fun of that too. Willow may or may not be insufferable, but now that she has gotten rid of the green hair that made her look like a CHIAPET, I think she looks perfectly normal for a girl her age there.
ReplyDeleteI can't figure out who is in the cop car behind Shaq.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite scene in Pootie-tang - "WOULD YOU TURN THAT MUSIC OFF!!!" What was Wanda's character's name again? Smallie Biggs? Off on a tangent now - if you like spoofs, check out Black Dynamite. Spoof of blaxploitation kung-fu movies. Funniest. Lines. Ever.
I, too, love Will Ferrell.
My son will go insane when he hears there's a Grown Ups 2.
Not a fan of Willow Smith, but I think she looks very pretty there. She sure sprung up fast!
Does Zooey have a background in dance, or was this guest judge stunt casting.
That's not a Coke can in Shaquille's hand. I think it might be one of those small cans of apple or cranberry juice. Not that he's a petite guy, but just to say that he's not so huge that Coke cans look like whip-it canisters in size.
ReplyDeleteHave been a Ifans-fan since "Danny Deckchair" and "Enduring Love", great movies. Their was a recent reveal here about him and a co-star (Joely Richardson) having a fling...and the director (Emmerich) liked to watch (probably during "Anonymous"). Hork.
ReplyDeleteDenise, I can't remember who the actor was he reportedly hooked up with, but he was definitely male. :)
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who doesn't think that looks like ScarJo?? Maybe it's the angle of the picture or something...
ReplyDelete@minerpoteet: I agree with you, plus she got tall in a hurry too. She's a tall girl, not a woman yet. Also, the pixie hairstyles are in right now and to me, that's somewhat like it. She's a bit annoying but it's normal for her age. IMO.
