ReplyDeleteI really pray Lourdes uses her advantages in life to do real good, and doesn't end up a cokehead starlet. Even if she's as Melissa is to Joan Rivers (not on-camera talented), I really hope she does something great that she loves.

I think it is because reminds me so much of my 19 year old sister in many ways...not just in looks, but she seems to be stuck in that "not a girl, not yet a woman" phase and wants to be a woman so terribly bad.

@Frufa. Have you heard of those belly wraps that women use immediately after birthing a baby? I think Brooke Burke touts them. Anyway, my sister used one after each birth of her FOUR children, and her figure looks like Kelly Ripa. (My sister is incredibly active, tiny boned with negative A boobs so this is not a crazy stretch). I did NOT use one (against her sage advice) and my jeans do not fit the same even though I got back to my original weight.
I don't think I ever noticed how pretty Abbie Cornish is. It's too bad I can't think of her without thinking she was one of the causes of the Reese/Ryan breakup.
OT - what do you guys know that I don't about Reese being a B? She just strikes me as low key, but I see a lot of hate for her on this site. And I thought I was up on my celebrity goss!
Sunny...ugh. I got down to five pounds less than my pre-pregnancy weight, but somehow wear a size larger jeans and can't get rid of my little "pouch." I wondered if those bands really worked; sounds like it would have been worth a try!

ReplyDeleteJessica Alba also swears by the tummy bandage thingy post birth. My best friend has had 3 9+lb babies in the past 6 years. She didn't use the belly band after the first two but did after she gave birth for the 3rd time. She says it worked sooo well. She regrets not using it after having her first two kids. It's now her go-to gift for preggo friends.

I could just kick myself for not using it because my sister KEPT telling me how much of a difference it would make (along with the scientific reason why) but at the time I kept thinking how it would interfere with nursing and how sweaty I was going to be (Yeah, no one warns you about the sweaty mess you will be that first week. AMONGST OTHER THINGS *shudder*)
