I'm sorry but where did Jessica Biel get the idea that she's a fashionista? Her clothes and hair are beyond ridiculous. She's such a beautiful girl that while it would be hard to find things that look bad on her, she invariably finds all of those things. p.s. Honestly I can't believe MTV even bothers with awards shows anymore when all they do is run crummy reality shows. The whole concept seems very 1990s to me. Do awards shows ever get axed? It seems like once they start, they go on forever, no matter how far past their prime they are.
Also, everyone in these pictures looks terrible, except maybe Elizabeth Banks. It seems like Kristen Stewart has worn about eighty slightly different versions of this dress.

anita_mark, I have a theory about Biel, but I have to word it carefully. I simply think she's very lesbian (the way say a Charles Nelson Reilly was a 'very' gay man). I think she's really what they used to call a "Diesel Dyke" who could wear the hell outta some flannel & a wallet chain, but is less skilled when it comes to putting 'girly' outfits together. Kind of like how so many gay men have 'an eye' for pretty more than the straights do, sometimes lesbians can suffer total blindness. It's weird, I don't know where it comes from, but I have had way too many gay friends all over the fashionability (and sexuality) spectrum not to feel like I recognize Biel's problem with looking comfortable in her skin.
I know it's a dumb stereotype, and sexuality is fluid. And there are, of course, Lipstick Lesbians AND Daddy Bears who are plentiful and do not fulfill their aesthetic stereotypes. Maybe Biel is just ultra-sporty (spice). But she makes my gaydar SCREAM with every haircut, every pose, every outfit.

I was bullied when I was young because I'm a weak target--nervous & self-conscious. So my only real friends growing up were other bullied kids. Bullied usually for that other reason. The best part of myself is my empathy, and I know I got it from that experience. So it's not a total downer, in the end! I'll bet there's a few others here with the same experience in school.
