National Enquirer Blind Item
THIS Grammy-winning musician gets such a kick out of impersonating a certain A-list star that he actually poses for photos with the actor’s fans AND signs his autograph! The sleazy singer likes to be a bigger jerk than usual when people mistake him for “Mr. Movie Star” – and even undertips on restaurant and bar bills in the hope that the media will pick up the story!

He said he saw a girl who looked JUST like me only 75 lbs heavier. He had just seen me 2 days prior. Not sure when he thought I gained 75 lbs??

It's Mayer impersonating Depp. "The sleazy singer likes to be a bigger jerk than usual" is the tip-off (Chad Smith not being a high profile jerk nor a singer).

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me - one night back in the '90s some friends and I were at a music club and the guitarist for Metallica, Kirk Hammett, was hanging out with a couple burly guys at a table next to us. I went up to the bar and the cocktail waitress told me excitedly "Hey Johnny Depp is here!". Took me a minute to realize she had mistaken Kirk for him, ha.
By the way Kirk was very nice; when he tripped over my friend's outstretched feet he stopped and apologized, while his bodyguards gave us a dirty look.
I had a doppelganger in high school. She and I never met, but my friends were always running into her and getting confused. It was weird.
