So, Kim Zolciak has moved from her "dream home," which turns out was rented and back into the townhome that Big Poppa bought for her. I don't understand why Kim Zolciak and her NFL playing husband can't afford to buy a house. She is on Real Housewives and has her own show. She gets paid for appearances and he makes a very decent living too. So, why are they renting? Why do they need to live in free housing? Where does all the money go? How much do her wigs cost? Yes, I understand she paid for the redecoration of the house they lived in but why would you pay to redecorate a rental? Instead of buying that $400K bracelet why not buy a house for that or use that as a down payment? When Kim Zolciak is not a household name and her husband is retired and she is having to turn tricks again to make money, she is going to remember all the money she squandered.
Why does anyone give a rat's ass about Kim Zolciak? Has she contributed something worthwhile to society that I've missed?
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty old news that they were renting b/c they didn't know if he was going to be picked up by the Falcons and it didn't make sense to purchase a home and then possibly have to move to a completely different state. Now though it doesn't make sense not to purchase a house since he signed a new contract.
ReplyDeletePlenty of people decorate their rentals especially if they have a willing landlord/lady whether it's a tiny one bedroom or a Beverly Hills mansion. This shouldn't be news or new to you 'Enty.'

ReplyDeleteOooooh, I loved last night's wedding episode. She sure got lucky with Kroy, but damn her Mama is a piece of work. I'm sure having her Mom escorted out was all for the cameras, but it was still funny as hell.

ReplyDeleteThey fought because the lady/her husband jacked up the price of the house and Kim and Kroy backed out of the deal--then the landlords had issues with the wedding/filming in the house. Hence, they evicted them.
She's pregnant again and she has some issues with flying/travelling so I don't think she makes many appearances like Nene Leakes but she has to have made out well with the special spin off series they did about the wedding.
From watching the show, I don't get the impression that Kim has a lot of long-term friends--she seems to have someone --often paid--she gets very close to --then things blow up and she finds a new friend. I think the landlady was like that --a friend on the way to getting to be on TV and famous--then things didn't work out and poof.
That townhouse was an ok place--not as fancy but they'll save money to put toward a big house --of course she probably had to put things back into storage again so that costs something, lol.
So that's Big Poppa?? He's a hottie! Big Poppa - call me!! I have real hair and mad skilz........

ReplyDeleteYES, she did luck out with Kroy. I came across it last night and ended up watching the whole thing. I have to say when Kroy gave her daughters those rings, I totally teared up. It was so, so sweet.
As far as living in big papa's condo, I don't know...so many guys are so territorial with their women and don't want anything to do with past lovers/boyfriends/etc., and some guys just prefer to leave the past in the past. He probably just doesn't care. I personally think it's a sign of security in their relationship. Everyone has a past...
She tweeted that they own TWO places in Atlanta, so I don't know if maybe Kroy also had a place before they married.

ReplyDeleteSo I happen to know more about this than the regular person..Although the wedding was partially paid for by Bravo it still cost them a lot out of pocket. Kroy got 3 mill to sign, after taxes 2 mill. Add up what he bought her and he spent most of his contract already. Kim...everything she owns was bought with Poppa's money. All that versace plates and such...all Poppa. Even her escalade. Kim ignores it all. She thinks the money will keep flowing in, Kroy is clueless..before Kim he never spent money like that, now he just signes checks trying to live up to her former suger daddy and he just does not have that kind of income...So now all they have is housewives..and that dog is on it's last leg with her.
ReplyDeleteOh the Porsche is a lease with a generous discount for the dealer name flashed on tv (via plates) and a TV star(?) driving it. Kim was counting on the condo selling but she was asking a lot more than market and it never sold. Kim just lies about her money issues, she told Andy Cohen the house was in escrow on the reunion show, then she changed her story that they jacked the price..that the owners were trying to gouge her because of who she was. Uhhh. The owner is an NFL player...who makes more than Kroy. I give the marriage to Kroy a year maybe.
