  2. Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee...you have GOT to be fucking kidding me. Who votes on this shit?

  3. Jonathan Jackson is such a cutie. I'm so glad he won.

  4. What are they going to do now that almost all the soap operas are gone?

  5. Put me the WTF train on Drunk Sandy and Semi Craptastic. Same with Flay. Why not just make Guy Fairy the winner. Jeebus. Who votes for these?

  6. SL is now the unofficial 1st lady of New York so yeah I can see how that string was pulled.

  7. At this point a Cable Ace award has to be worth more than a Daytime Emmy.

  8. These awards don't mean anything anymore, since daytime soaps are gone.

Count me on the WTF? train for Drunken Sandy Lee.

  9. So sad - a Daytime Emmy used to mean something, damnit :-p.

  10. Winner Anthony Geary made a funny, sarcastic comment about GH almost being cancelled and replaced with The Worst Celebrity Boob Jobs (or something like that). I guess he was taking a poke at the shows that replaced All My Children, One Life to Live, etc.

  11. Woo Hoo! Chandler Massey SO deserved this!

Sandra Lee had to have fucked her way into this award. No other possible explanation.

  12. Seriously? They still put on the Daytime Emmys?

  13. Does this mean I should reboot my GH addiction?

I need to bleach my brain regarding Sandra Lee. "Are you fucking kidding me?!?!?!?" said in my best Teresa Giudice voice.

Regis and Kelly were great hosts. Kelly on her own... not so much.

I've heard that the shows that replaced the ABC soaps are doing awful in the ratings.

  14. Put me on the WTF train as well for SL - I have read bad reviews for her recipes and how big of a glug she is.

  15. Did anyone actually watch the awards show? I caught a few minutes of it, and someone was speaking onstage (Susan Lucci maybe?) and it was so painfully awkward and hokey that at first I thought I was seeing an SNL skit of some kind. I don't watch soaps, and I didn't immediately recognize Lucci (still not even sure if it was her: she's gotten older, you know) so I dunno. But it (her acceptance speech or whatever it was) was so cloying and her few jokes weren't getting any laughs and it was...like this parody of what one would expect a very lame awards show would be. So of course I LOVED IT, ha ha ha...

  16. I was excited, because in the Golden Globe setting, I thought it might be juicy. Instead of showing people you want to see in the ballroom, they had the worst camera operators ever! Granted, seeing a kid win an Emmy and think he is King of the World is cute, but show me the stars who have been a part of Daytime for years! Give me Victor/Nikki/Jack/Nick/Phyllis/Michael from Y&R. From B&B give me Eric/Stephanie/Brooke/Taylor/Ridge...same goes w/the other shows...Sorry but makeup team and grips are not why I tuned in. I didn't even see any of the online shows casts, just random AOL shows and people that I could care less about.

The highlight of the night? Hearing Devious Maids by Marc Cherry - starring Susan Lucci - is coming to Lifetime. Please bring GCB too, loved that show!

  17. I didn't watch, but afterwards on Twitter, people in the food community were PISSED that Sandra Lee won. Several higher profile people (Andrew Zimmerman and another chef - I think, I can't remember for sure) were furious.
