  16. Wow, I loved that! I love independent bookstores too. I have a paperback copy of It by Stephen King that's over 20 years old. I drag it out on beach trips and long flights. I love a paperback book; I can't bring myself to read a book on a electronic device yet.

  23. So awesome. Thanks for posting this. On the linked site one picture shows kittens in a basket on a mans head. The second photo shows another cat, the momma?, still in the water. I hope that one made it to safety too.

  27. @ Sacha I had the exact same thought about the mother cat in the water, I've been searching but I can't find any other photo's of this event. Cats's can swim, so let's hope that she made it ok and was reunited with her kittens!

    Thanks Enty for this. Enough inspiration to pay it forward. There should be more posts like this, preferably every week, so our faith can remain restored........

  43. The bookstore sign is from The Paradox bookstore in Wheeling WV. I believe it has been there since 1974. My father took us there for years and it is still there!
