Tatum O'Neal Still Addicted To Drugs After Rehab
If you believe Radar, and I tend to, they say that Tatum O'Neal is still addicted to prescription drugs and that no one in her family will see her. It is true that she did not see her kids on Mother's Day and I get the feeling that it is because Tatum is still trying to deal with some sobriety issues. Meanwhile she and her brother are trashing the book Ryan O'Neal wrote and say it is more a work of fiction than the truth. Did they really think he was going to say bad things about himself? The guy who was seeing what he could take from Farrah's house for his won use while she was dying in the next room. This is the guy who you thought would make himself look bad? Tatum has gone through a lifetime of addiction and I'm actually shocked she is still alive. Can you see Lindsay Lohan like this 20 years from now? I can. I could also see her dad hitting on her too.
Removing items from Farrah's home while she rests in the other room - what an ugly image but yeah, that's probably what happened.
ReplyDeleteToo sad.
ReplyDeleteHer recovery will always be tenuous while Ryan O’Neal is still alive. I cannot help but feel deeply sorry for her.
ReplyDeleteI actually have a lot of sympathy for Tatum because she wants to get better, but her demons tend to get the best of her. Lindsay is a spoiled brat who has no interest in getting better.
ReplyDeleteI too feel sympathy for Tatum and really root for her. Her book just haunted me.
ReplyDeleteI saw Ryan on The View. I wanted to beat the crap out of him...sick or not this man is vile.

ReplyDeleteCome on Tatum, you can do this....don't become the same thing your father is. Cheering you on!
ReplyDeleteI don't see Lindsay living as old as Tatum.
ReplyDelete@Donner - you're right. I dont think Lindsay will live to see 30.
ReplyDeleteTatum will never be sober until SHE takes responsibility. I've read her book, watched her show and have seen her in interviews, she STILL places all of the blame on her father. Thus, she diverts responsibility. And it is annoying as hell.
ReplyDeleteWe've all had F'ed up parents (at least us interesting ones) and what about her role as a parent who hasn't ever been sober for her kids??? I mean come on. When does the blame end and one finally stops and says, well what was MY role in this. For when she finally does that, she will change.
Trust, I know. From experience.
While I have defended her for years, I gotta go with Omama here. Tatum's book was horribly sad, but she needs to take ownership. (Something I don't see Lindsay ever doing).
ReplyDeleteLindsay won't live beyond 27. Her martyr complex will have her commiting suicide or ODing to join the 27 club.
ReplyDeleteI do feel for Tatum. Her addictions must be huge, and I dont think she ever had a chance genetically or nurture- wise. Her mother was mentally ill, and her and her brother ran sild as like 4-5yr olds, until mr-I -put- the - dys- in -dysfunction showed up to "save" them. Good job, scumbag. Its funny with addicts, some u r just like'ugh, die already" and some , like Tatum, u really feel for. Dont know why.
ReplyDelete*ran wild*
So when Tatum decides to end her own life, or dies of an overdose or from her addictions, I suppose we should all blame John Macenroe? Or her father? Or brother???
ReplyDeleteWhen are we going to begin holding adults accountable for their own actions??? Yes...addiction is a disease....but don't blame others when you die from it and refuse treatment.
Team Tatum.
ReplyDeleteI know I can see a strength in her. Until she can find that strength........
I agree, she needs to take ownership for her actions, but I'm rooting for her all the same. With that f'ed up family, maybe she needs to stay away from that toxic sesspool. Whatever it takes to stay clean and sober. Or whatever it takes to get closer to total sobriety.
ReplyDeleteLindsay Lohan on the other hand, I have no sympathy for. Something about her strikes me the wrong way. Like she's soooo fucked up that she would *love* to OD when she's 27 just so she can be on some freaking poster with Marilyn and Janice and Amy Winehouse, etc. and BE FAMOUS 4EVAH!!! And her mom will sell a book on the tragedy of it all-how the world lost a great talent that was SO MISUNDERSTOOD... We all know she's gonna OD anyway, so I hope she fucks up her plans and OD's when she's 26 or something.
I hope she gets herself together. I do agree with Omama, she wont get better until she can start taking ownership and forgive her father.
ReplyDeleteOK, slightly OT but love the haircut there.
ReplyDeleteLoved her on Rescue Me. If anybody saw it she played Tommy's (Denis L's) sister Maggie. I think the part was a bit close to home for her-dysfunctional, alkie, pilly family. You could just see in her eyes how lost and raw she is.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm pulling for her. I hope she can battle her demons and return for another reinvention. Stay strong Tatum!
no such thing as a hopeless case...not for Tatum or lindsay or anybody else. But yeah, Ryan is an epic turd.
