Rosie Pierri From Real Housewives - New Jersey Needs Her Own Show

Last night, Andy Cohen and Bravo finally realized what it is that makes Real Housewives - New Jersey so good. Rosie. Yes, Kathy's sister Rosie Pierri finally got her moment in the sun and got to be on Watch What Happens Live. If you have never seen the show, you are not missing much except when Rosie is on. She totally deserves her own show and if the network can give Kim Zolciak or Bethenny Frankel a show they can also give a show to someone who is actually interesting. I want to go spend a few weeks at Rosie's house. She is funny and amazing and always worth lots and lots of laughs. Plus she is a big drinker so you can't go wrong with that.

  2. Rosie is da bomb! The best Rosie scenes were from the episode where all of the idiots go on the boat and leave Rosie to watch all of the kids. While watching the kids and screaming at them, she's having wine. When the parents come back, she announces that now she can finally go drink some scotch. Priceless woman that she is!

  3. Team Rosie all the way. She should be the one from RHONJ to get a spinoff.

  4. I don't get it. She grosses me out a little.

  5. Yeah. I like Rosie, too. In fact, I think she's the only person on the show who has any redeeming qualities.

I totally received the Teresa Guidice "Skinny Italian" cookbook as a gift from a pair of my piano students this weekend. The recipes actually look good. The book is cracking my shit up. I can't believe the snob that I am has this in my house. LOL.

  6. Would everyone be so into her if she wasn't gay?

  7. Rosie is hilarious on the show, but I felt she was a little uncomfortable with Andy last night in the clubhouse. She needs a little time to get used to her new fame. I just hope she stays real.

  9. @califblondy - she seemed uncomfortable being all glammed up

  10. Rosie is in the typical Bravo older character role--Zoila on Flipping Out, Mama Elsa on Miami, the french maid on Million Dollar Decorators, Josh's grandma on Million Dollar Listing.

There is usually a "Rosie" type on the Andy Cohen shows.....

That said, I like her--I agree she was a little out of her element on a talk show but I did get a kick out of her in that reel they did with the Honey Badger guy narrating--Rosie going out for a smoke, Rosie chasing kids into the street, Rosie doing a belly flop....she is sorely needed in that sea of Manzos and Guidice's!

  11. I don't think Rosie fits the typical older lady of the show mold, she is the funny relative who loves to drink and says what everyone is thinking.
I think the Bravo men are all jealous they aren't housewives. Paul (Beverly Hills), Terry (Orange County), Rich (NJ) are all highlarious and think that they are the unofficial housewife of the season (anyone remember BH last season when Paul was talking to Taylor through Lisa's gate?).
However Slade (OC) and Simon (NY) try waaaay to hard to be the Rosie of their seasons.

  12. So she's not a linebacker?

My friend and I always say how much she reminds of us of Megan from Bridesmaids. Haha.

  14. How on Earth could you say she is the only one with "redeeming qualities" after seeing her on-screen for maybe 8 minutes total over the last year? She could be a convict on parole for all anyone knows, but she's gay so lets all over express how great she is so we don't look homophobic.
Just not jumping on the bandwagon, it always seems awkward when she appears, not fun to watch.

  15. I'm no bandwagon jumper, I just think she's funny. Funny on the show, not so much being interviewed by Andy last night.

  16. I don't find her funny or interesting at all.

  17. "but she's gay so lets all over express how great she is so we don't look homophobic." Yup that is the only reason heterosexuals even but up with homosexuals, self preservation. *shaking my head*

  18. I thought that was Rosie O'Donnell for a minute :)

  19. Ok, now I get it. @Princess, I was with you until @car54 explained it. She IS the type cast character like Mama Elsie, Zoila... Those ladies aren't similar, just that they aren't the young trendy types in the main roles. They are usually older (until Rosie), not style conscious as far as whatever the main ladies are into bc each main cast tends to look the same. Now I feel bad for thinking it was only bc she was gay. But if you had all the main roles filled with Rosie types and the odd one was a Teresa I wonder what people would say about Teresa!

  21. Re: my comment about Rosie's "redeeming qualities." I could give a shit if she's gay or not. I didn't say what I said to appear not homophobic. I really don't think very highly of one single person on the show, so that is why I said, in my opinion, that Rosie is the only person with redeeming qualities. I think Kathy is ok as well. Jacqueline and Caroline are the worst mothers in the entire universe, Teresa is Teresa and Melissa, well, I think there is more to her than she is showing and I think she sucks. And, I think all of the husbands are fucking shady as hell in their business dealings. So, yeah. In my view, these people are quite trashy.

I'm not trying to start an Internet battle, but I don't appreciate that accusation, Princess. I'm not homophobic. There are many gays in my family; and I have many gay friends, and I love them with all of my heart, so fuck off with that comment.

  22. Wow, Rosie's existence has really stirred up some sick shit in some people. Sad.

  23. No offence to her, but she looks like a right-handed Jared Lorenzen in that photo lol.

  24. I LOVE Rosie, but thought she sucked on WWHL. Kathy is the biggest fence sitter, and Rosie followed her lead. Normally on the show, Rosie is no holds barred. She needs a show, without Kathy around to reign her in.

  25. Yes, she is comedic relief from all the other dreadful women.
