I actually kind of like Nicole, Rose and Tara's dresses. Nina's dress is lovely, but I wish she had put on some makeup and done something with her hair after leaving the gym.
I hate having something tight around my neck, so Janet's dress is a big no with me.
Grrr ... booties with a formal dress ... (goes off muttering and clutching her pearls in distate).
Sometimes I feel fashion has lost its way, where somehow it became more worried about playing by its own rules than actually making people look attractive.
ReplyDeleteI bet at least half these women looked much more appealing before they got ready for this shoot when they were wearing no make up or other unnatural styling, and in whatever clothes they lounge around at home at. These outfits may be "glamorous" but I mostly find them to be off-putting.
And as soon you think about how much these outfits are sold for, it goes from a mild observation to truly kind of disgusting.
I don't know who Aishwarya Rai is or what people have been saying about her, but she looks amazing and her outfit is phenomenal.

For women to diet during pregnancy. The day after that, I saw it had been picked up by legit news sources. Smh @ you, India

No...Ash is gorgeous, period, regardless of sartorial choice. She was Miss World in 1994 and is apparently expected to look exactly the same her entire life. How many of these people bashing her look just like they did 18 years ago?
Jessie J is the definition of air-cooled there. I guess the boots are an 'edgy choice' of some sort, but classic black or nude stilettos would have looked spectacular.
Janet J does not look attractive there, IMHO. It does not compliment her figure at all and she looks ill at ease.
I think Rai looks even more beautiful (who knew that was possible) with some meat on her bones.

I think it's Janets makeup more than anything that makes her look like she has cheek implants. She had those cheekbones even as a little girl, and now she's thin again, they stand out more. (I do think she's had a fair amount of fillers and botox, though). The dress could've fit better.
