WTF with that poor dog? I understand giving your longhaired doggies a summer cut (Lord knows my white pompom is drowning in his fur right now), but that is ridiculous! Poor baby!

I hate anne hathaway for some reason I think they could have found a way better actress for that role

  13. Patricia Heaton is a dumb bitch and I hope she drops dead. I loathe that woman.

What is with people and their pets today? Zebra, parrot, buffalos, and a stupid hair cut for a dog.

  38. Anne Hathaway is great, in a Mary Anne way. She's no Ginger. A lot of guys find the girl next door sexy. Anna Kendrick looked middle aged in the 1st movie I saw her in (Up in the Air). When she said the line to Vera Farmiga "I hope to look just like you when I'm your age" I did a double take because they both seemed close in age. She must have been born a dowdy 35 year old.

  40. Anne Hathaway: blech. No sex appeal at all. Remember seeing this God awful movie she was in where she was playing a super slut and it just did not work at all.

And I am glad to see the hate for Patricia freakin' right wing Heaton. What a twat. I can say that on here can't I? -

  41. I WANT THAT CAR!

Yeah, what is up with the Mohawk ? Poor dog looks cold, too. :(

Heaton hate becuz she sided w/Limbaugh on Twitter when he called the law student a prosty, then she had to apologize. She's so far to the right she's on the left.

Can buffaloes be housetrained? Is this crazy pet day on CDaN? I saw a Hippo as a house pet on An Idiot Abroad.

  42. "However, his dog looks embarrassed." - Treesap-Covered Lady

That dog is not embarrassed because it's a dog. It doesn't know that it has a mohawk cut.

As you can see in these photos:

    http://www.imagebam.com/image/508d5f191646123

It's odd to me that there were almost no complaints when photos came out of Ryan Gosling's dog with a mohawk. I guess being hunky makes it okay.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Can't we compromise somewhere between camel toe and ginormous crotch? Ugh, Cam would have looked so hot in that outfit, but the crotch draping and opened toed shoes with pants killed it. Her hair looks nice though.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I would like Anna Kendrick's dress if it didnt have the top sheer material...

    ReplyDelete
  45. and sweet jeebus, people...it's a haircut on a dog! They're not abusing it or anything...sheesh!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Michelle Pfeiffer was the best catwoman, hands down or claws up.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @Lori - I'm trying to like that dress, but I just can't. It's a little too close to something a 12 year old would wear for a dance recital.

And I do think dogs can be embarrassed by bad haircuts. They think they're people, I tell ya!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. 1. Loving Justin’s classic car, always a sight to cheer you up. When I see these cars jull of great character I have to look through all the windows and enjoy their beauty, grac, style and uniqueness.
    2. I couldn’t help noticing how graceful the buffalo’s hooves appear.....just ready to pirouette(?sp.). Although I couldn’t have one.......too big for my little bungalow.
3 That poor dog is obviously upset....his body language spells it out clearly.....he’s cowering.
    4. Joan Collins.....a true star of the old school. Never leaves home without making sure she looks fabulous. Is always classy and availlable for her public.
    5. I’m always gonna stay firmly behind Julie Newmar.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @ Frufra- lol!! that's probably why I almost like the dress:) I've been known to covet things that are shiny and/or bright.

I get'cha on the dog thing, I like to call mine my kids, but sometimes people on this site take it a little far IMHO.

    ReplyDelete
  50. "3 That poor dog is obviously upset....his body language spells it out clearly.....he’s cowering."

    @billybob,

Come on, let's not be ludicrous. Dogs don't cower because of the common practice of getting their fur sheared for the summer. I really hope you are joking.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I'm thinking that they got the dog's fur cut like that for a good reason, not just because they thought it would be cool to give the dog a mohawk--whether it's for medical reasons (matted coat, skin infection, wounds, etc.) or because it's summer and the poor dog would roast otherwise. Yeah, it looks silly, but once the poor dog gets over being embarrassed (yes, I think he is, or at least a bit freaked out; we've all felt that way after an extreme haircut), he'll feel much better. Hell, as soon as I scrape enough money together, I'm going to get a good trim so I don't sweat to death quite as badly...

    ReplyDelete
  52. @seaward with you 100% Patricia Heaton is a hypocritical, hate-filled individual, political views aside. I really do wish she would drop dead. I also wish people would boycott her show/she would not be able to get a job in the first place, or that she could add to her list of many plastic surgeries permanent closure of the mouth.

Is it wrong I'm a little sad that Sheldon definitely plays for the other team? I have a total nerd crush on him/I want a Sheldon for my own house!

  53. it like the dog in the shop window. He is all what's going on out there?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Joan Collins looking like that and being 79 is fucking unreal- bitch has sold her soul to the highest bidder to look that good. And good for her!

Sorry, Everybody Loves Raymond is the definition of why the genre is coined SHIT-com. Every played out neo-traditional theme was wrung out like a limp towel in that show. YUCK.

Goddess, where are the Seinfeld shows when you need em?

The best catwoman will always and forever be Michelle Phiefer. PERIOD.
I'm a chick and even I got a woody watching her writhe around in all her black latex glory. meeeow

As for the dog sitch- please. My maine coon is 20lbs of fluff and this morning I spent an hour cutting it all off for summer. He hissed and growled and was under the bed for a few minutes afterward sulking but he eventually came out, shook himslef off, and went to drink some water in the bathtub like nothing happened. I love my pets but lets not assign words like "cower" and "embarrassed" to a house pet getting a hair cut. Sheesh.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oh yeah, co-sign Pat Heaton dropping dead Team.

If anyone shoulda been burned at the stake- it's this trick

  57. Haha I beleive animals do. My parents have a himalayan cat and my step mom takes him in to get groomed, and he comes out looking like a lion bushy head, end of tail and booties the rest of the body shaved...poor thing walks around looking so embarrassed. Kind of like no, don't look at me, I'll just hid in this corner! Sorry for the long post, I just had to share :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. I think Patricia Heaton looks great. I love her dress.

    ReplyDelete
  59. those poor dogs, there should be a law against that. The bigger one was embarrassed .

    ReplyDelete
  60. Lori that doesn't make it better- that makes it even worse to know he's a very nice guy! I really want my very own Sheldon to tell me what to do for everything in such an adorable yet condescending way. Not sure my husband would dig it but btwn the 2 of us working crazy hrs, the Sheldon would be our "wife" :)

If this many people this quickly violently hate Patricia Heaton why the F does she still have a TV show or any forum to communicate with anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  61. What is going on with Anna Faris' mouth??

Marion Cotillard (?) would be sooo much better as Catwoman.

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Ladybug, I love the way their little bodies feel after that kind of grooming. They feel like micro-suede.

I told my vet once that my cat would puke in the doorway out of spite. She told me, "cats cannot be spiteful, they aren't capable of it." On a sane, intelligent level, I know she's right but on another level, damn that cat was spiteful.

There's a weird homeless guy in my city that has a dog in a cart that he pulls with his bike. He decorates the cart and there's music.... That is one embarrassed looking dog.

  64. @anita yes he is so soft after that just he looks so odd being basically hairless except for a bushy head and looking like he's wearing a pair of uggs..not to mention he is probably gender confused as all of us in the family constantly call him a her...
I guess it's a good thing the homeless guy has a friend, as long as the dogs getting the right amount of food and is getting taken care of :)

  65. It's interesting that Ray is standing that close Patricia Heaton. I saw him in Vegas once (not performing, just in Vegas) and he was bashing her every chance he could get...without any prompting. It was right after that Twitter/Douche Limbaugh debacle. Apparently the hatred is well deserved from what he was spewing.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Sweet car, Justin! Very nice.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I always got my furry dog a nice short cut for summer, also, but I at least left something on her. This poor dog is bald. And embarrassed.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I understand not liking someone but I don't understand the outright hatred of Patricia Heaton on here. So what if she doesn't share your political views. That is no reason to be petty and mean about it. She isn't my favorite person in the world but I don't understand being so snarky and immature about it.

Snarkier than usual comments along with the proliferation of the curse words in the comments on this site is causing me to rethink my daily visits. It didn't use to be like this. Totally heading into the gutter....

    ReplyDelete
  69. For the love of god, do you folks think the dog has a mirror? How else do you explain the hilarious notion that it can see itself and be "embarrassed." I truly can not believe people actually think the dog understands or cares that it has been shaved.

    Look at some different photos.

It's just a dog with a summer cut like thousands of other dogs.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Does anyone else think the JLH photo looks more like Shannon Elizabeth?

    ReplyDelete
  71. @sac no I don't believe a pet would look in a mirror as we would to see ourselves with a bad haircut, I just find it funny some of the looks I've gotten from our cat after its "summer cut" he doesn't seem thrilled!

    ReplyDelete
  72. I don't think a mo-hawk looks bad on a dog, and it can be nice for summer, but they can't all pull it off. ;) Ryan Gosling's dog looked cute. This one doesn't. Is it some kind of poodle? I think it doesn't help how short they shaved most of the hair, because it looks like just skin.

My dog has had a lion cut before, and he looked adorable.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Whether or not the dog can feel "embarrassed" the dog knows he feels DIFFERENT and is bound to be skittish til he gets his bearings again. My dad grew up on a farm, and he said the sheep all huddled and acted terrified/skittish after being clipped. (Sheepish, anyone?) Animals may not have body-image-shame, but they know when things feel "not normal" and for a few days, the dog will act as if it is "not normal." A very natural response.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Whenever I see Joan Collins, all I want is for her to slap me. A dramatic, glamorous, bitchy slap. That would pretty much make my life.

Also, I don't think those pics look anything like Anna Faris or JLH. Must be the angles...

    ReplyDelete
  75. Eartha Kitt and Michelle P were awesome catwomen. I dont get sexy kitty from Anne but i wont hate on the girl before i see the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Vicki..Seriously I'm a TV snob and I actually found Big Bang purdy darn good. The song for the show sucks but overall it's lowbrow amusing.
No no no for Anne and Catwoman. She just isn't.
That doesn't even look like JLH at all.
Not thrilled with Heaton's political views either. Don't wish she would drop dead though. And as much as we don't care for the opposite of whatever our views are, especially if they are extreme, we really need those people (left and right)to bring about a more balanced veiwpoint in the end. I was embarrassed Jesse Helms was from my state and said what he did but it evens out the extremes. That's my take.

    ReplyDelete
  77. @anita: My cat spite pees. We have a Summer home and we go away nearly every weekend. If we're gone longer than a couple of days, we bring our Maine Coon, but if not we leave her as this is a better alternative than keeping her in the car for 3+hours, which she hates. Anyhow, once per Summer, she pisses on a chair or couch. Her litterbox is clean; she has plenty of food; she has a lovely fresh water fountain. We think she pisses out of spite because we're not home. It *is* possible.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Does anyone remember the blind about the A list actress who virtually stalks the fashionable B list actress and copies her looks?
After today's pic, I totally believe it's Charlize Theron and Jessica Alba.

    ReplyDelete
  79. WOah. Just met insider telling me soooooo many stories. Will give updates tomorrow.

  80. I agree with Lady Whitehall. That photo doesn't seem to be Jennifer Love Hewitt. Look at the arms - not JLH's body type.

And that photo just isn't any good with Peter Boyle. RIP.

Scotland, on this site, no one is allowed to espouse any views other than liberal ones without being raked over the coals. No one has the right to a different opinion without being considered evil or stupid.

Look, I don't agree with all of Heaton's political views, but I agree more with her than I do, say, Sean Penn on most things. But I don't go around wishing death on Sean Penn. Some of you need to realize that not everyone is obligated to agree with your politics. That doesn't make them a bad person or stupid or uninformed. It makes them NOT YOU.

Anita, I would rethink my vet choice if I were you. That person obviously doesn't understand cats if they think cats don't do things out of spite. Anyone who lives with a cat and watches it knows that cats are FULL of spite. They live for it. It's their favorite emotion.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Sav,
Why are you overly defending the dog's haircut? It just seems silly to get so worked up over people's opinions on whether or not a mohawk looks good on a dog or not.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Say what you will about Patricia Heaton, I think she is VERY good on The Middle. Love that show, and yeah, I appreciate any actors who give me viewing pleasure by doing their craft well.

And dogs DO get embarrassed after their hair is cut! Ours used to hide after getting their summer cuts; of course they can feel the difference in their appearance.

And cats DO pee in spite, come ON. The "animals don't have humanoid emotions" trend has gone too far. Anyone with pets can tell you they feel all kinds of human-like emotions.

    ReplyDelete
  92. The photo above appears to show Theron's nanny walking about 10 steps behind her carrying stuff and looking exhausted. Just like the 1950's! She's really projecting that rich, white lady vibe.

Theron has not one baby thing with her. No diaper bag, no stroller, no nothing.
    Real moms carry stuff!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Treesap-Covered Lady-

I don't care about the haircut. I am, however, a bit sensitive towards Moretz since many at this site have a tendency to use her as a pinata. It just felt like it was leading up to that with all the hyperbole about a fairly normal dog shearing.

    ReplyDelete
  94. @chopchop, since we've been traveling a lot lately, our cat has started pooping outside the litterbox. He'd be miserable going with us, so all we can do is have a pet sitter check in on him every few days and shower him with affection when we go home. My friend's sister has a cat that pees on their luggage the day they leave for travel. I know cats aren't supposed to be spiteful, but it's really hard to believe when you live with one.
