I love a good marriage proposal video, but they have to have some kind of element of surprise or sweetness or something that makes you fall in love with it. This one has all of those. Thanks Gladys.
I think I must have watched this 20 times now and still tear up when he gives her that sweet smile and motions for her to take off the ear phones and come to him. Just precious.
I'm so glad everyone else liked it as much as we did. Besides the obvious, I also love the "dancing Jews." Cracks me up every time I watch it---which is about 20 times so far.
Omg..,I started crying from the moment the first few characters in the video started performing and couldn't stop crying the rest of the way through...it's genius the way it was filmed from her vantage point but still showing her reactions. That created the maximum emotional impact on the viewer, although I admit I am a huge sap...moreso as I get older...
Can't believe I'm going to be the cynic, but in Australia they played it on a morning show and we all questioned it because of mentioning the specific car at the start of the video. I think it is fake. Ducks now.
We kid ourselves when we think our relationships only involve ourselves. Relationships happen within the context of community. Look at the support network these two already have and the joy on everyone's face to be involved in this moment. I am pretty sure we saw her mom and dad as well as his. Joy, joy and more joy. I cried like a baby watching this.
I loved being able to simultaneously watch the song/dance and her reaction. The fact that all her friends/family participated just made it all the more special.
Fantastic
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAaaawwww. That was too sweet.
ReplyDeleteI totally love this, especially the dancing Jews and the plethora of jazz hands. Never too many jazz hands!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's the hormones, but I can't stop crying. That's the sweetest thing I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting that!

ReplyDeleteSo cute! How come enty has never done an engagement story post? Where everyone gives their engagement story. I think that would be so cool.
ReplyDeleteAnd to think I almost didn't watch it. That was wonderful!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish them all the best! Although it would be cool to see what he comes up with when he wants to get a divorce :P
ReplyDeleteThat was AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteOmg, I don't usually get teary, but as soon as the first older couple came in, I was done for! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, and Henriette, I think Enty probably has way too many engagement stories of his own, lol!
ReplyDeleteAw, man, I got something in my eye!

ReplyDeleteOh I hope this isn't fake! If it is they may as well just drown a puppy...
ReplyDeleteThis isn't fake - just saw the couple interviewed on the NBC Nightly News.
ReplyDeleteAw, I loved that. And the crowd kept their jazz hands going until she said yes!
ReplyDeleteShe'll never forget that! What a guy!
Absolutely loved it!
ReplyDeleteNow pass me some tissues please!
OMG! *wipes tears* I love every single thing about this video! :D

ReplyDeleteI'M BAWLING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NEWSROOM!!!
ReplyDeleteAll my co-workers are laughing, but this is AMAZING!!!
Wow, normally I loath public engagements, but that was truly perfect--thoughtful, sincere, funny, and somehow quaint.
