Kim Kardashian Says She Had Things Taken From Her Luggage

I'm not sure who would want to take anything from the luggage belonging to Kim Kardashian but she says that British Airways did just that. She went on a Twitter rant and accused the airline of taking sentimental things. Not valuable things, but sentimental things. If you are going to risk losing your job taking something from Kim Kardashian, wouldn't you at least take something valuable? I wonder if she will apologize if she finds them. Maybe she left them in her hotel room under her bed. I have done that. I have also left things in closets, in the bathroom and on balconies. I once left a shoe in a hotel bar, but I'm not sure that actually counts as forgetting something. I knew it was there, but I also knew they made it very clear to me that I was not allowed back in the bar so yeah, just wrote that shoe off. I still have the other shoe hoping against hope that my other shoe will somehow find its way home. I can just see it hopping all by itself wondering where I have gone and why I have left it to be all by itself. Maybe if it can't find its way home it can at least find the island of misfit toys.

**Oh, and note to Kim Kardashian. The reason we don't lock our bags anymore is because there was this thing called 9/11. Maybe you have heard of it. So, since then, the TSA likes to go through bags and make sure there is nothing that will bring down any other planes. Why should they trust you and not us? Is this because you are a celebrity?

  1. The only thing Kim is sentimental about is cold hard cash.

  2. Good one, SusanB. Can we get another ban?

Probably a vile of pee, so she can remember how she became relevant.

  4. Are these 'sentimental' items insured? Part of me feels they are and she'll be making an insurace claim...again.

  5. Uhh you can still lock your bags. There are special TSA approved locks (aka they can still break into your shit, but at least baggage handlers and others can't)

  6. Isn't it asking for legal trouble to publicly make an unsubstantiated accusation of theft against a major company?

  7. Can't she just contact British Airways? Oh right, then no one would know.

  8. I'm glad to know she's not flying on private planes. She should have to slog through an airport like all the rest of us...

  9. LAX is NOTORIOUS for stealing shit out of your bags. all of the airlines have been guilty of this. they have been known to deprecated people (especially crlebrities) from their belongs while going through security. I'm not a fan of Kim's trashy ass by any means but she does have the right to feel angry about being violated if it indeed happened.
And seriously just as a woman it creeps me out people rifiling through my personal things.... Especially my underwear. Creepy.

  10. My bags have been rifled thru several times and many things have gone missing or damaged. It took 9 months for them to deny my claim against the TSA for ripping the front pocket off my bag and ruining a cashmere coat.

  11. Fondly remembering the K-free month of February. Can we do another one in June plz?

  12. Recently travelled with my 6 yr old grandson to disneyworld. His luggage- a flowered Ver bradley bag- was gone thru. I had to laugh- why target that bag? And when they looked in it to find shorts tee shirts and bathing suits, did they feel silly? I just wonder what the formula is/ every 20th bag or something? I personally never pack anything steal- worthy, unless they looking for some big girl underpants to take, lol.

  13. @seaward is right, you can get TSA-approved locks. It's the baggage handlers that are the problem when there is one.

But anything of real value to you in price or sentiment, if you can carry it on, do so. Or leave it at home.

  14. They took her vibrator?

  15. This trick....Tick tock the fame clock is slowly running out. And ps-I have flown British Airways before and they are awesome. Trust when I say those men and women DO NOT want any of her unmentionables-which with her, is pretty much all her stuff.

  16. What a stupid girl. Get a TSA approved lock next time, Kimbo, and leave your crotchless underwear behind, despite its sentimental value.

  17. Someone should tell her the sex tape is on the on Internet where she can just download it to her laptop and she's good to go.

  18. THERE IS NO SENSE OF SECURITY>>>

    uhhh....

  19. Kim, you are such an asshole. I am surprised Kanye didn't hire a private plane for you, so you wouldn't have to go through this horrible experience.

  20. uh, I only fly BA and never had issue...then again I don't fly with LV luggage that screams "OPEN ME! I CONTAIN GOOD SHIT!"

Victoria Beckham said same thing and now travels with nondescript luggage after she had jewelry stolen.

  21. @strawberrygirl

LOL. Maybe this is how she will later explain the tape was "stolen" What shocks me is that a Kardashian family member is sentimental over anything.

  22. I'm just a peasant with plain green or black luggage, and I know about TSA approved locks (which can be used in Europe as well) and not packing the good shit if you can help it. Also, I put clean underwear in one ziploc and dirty underwear in a different ziploc, clearly labelled, because I too get the willies when thinking about someone pawing my intimates. Then I put my tampons and pantyliners in another ziploc, right on top of my luggage just so anyone who does go through my luggage feels damn uncomfortable about it. Ha!

If you are travelling with valuable stuff and not photographing it as you pack, well you're an idiot.

  23. Uh, I meant clean unused lady supplies, just in case there was any question. I'm not insane.

  24. CAI is bad about stealing stuff, so I only pack Oreos, thin mints and peanut butter in my checked luggage
    :-)

  25. Lesson of this post: Stealing stuff is okay as long as you steal from a pariah celebrity.
Nice! That'll teach her. Uh, something. And added bonus moralizing about 9/11. DUrrh.

I'm glad she publicized this theft. We all have to travel with less personal security now and people who take advantage of our trust should be shamed and the companies that employ them should be placed on notice. TSA assholes steal too, BTW. Having to purchase a "TSA-approved" lock is just one more useless nuisance.

  26. Waaaaah you bitch. Too bad nobody will lock her in a suitcase.

If it was that "sentimental" why didn't she carry it on??

  29. Something sentimental... Hmm, must be an old sextape then, of her and a random guy. SHe gets sentimental when she looks at it, since she is with libido-killer Kanye now.

    'Leaking' of a new sextape in 3. 2. 1 !!

  30. It's her fleeting fame, quick chase it Kim it's nearly gone.

  31. How would a TSA lock help if the TSA are the ones stealing your stuff? Sorry, I'm Team Kim on this one. I used to love to fly, but airports are nightmares now.

  32. it was her vibrator.so sentimental

  33. +1 motcollins

Now I am wondering how much luggage she travels with.

And if someone really wants my camera (sans memory card), they will have to go through my dirty socks & undies first. At least on the way back.

  34. @csproat- I'm totally stealing from your luggage!

  35. Let's remember the Kardashians have a sentimental attachment to money or anything that brings them money. Isn't it Kim who's been selling her friends the designer clothes she got as freebies and giving just 10% of the income to charity? She picked up some freeby clothes and accessories abroad and planned to sell or at least re-gift them -- but the BA handlers saw the name or code on the luggage and went for the gold. Next time she'll FedEx her bags back to the States, the way most performers do.

  36. Wow, I just saw the posting about an insurance claim; I'd never thought of that. Also -- did she return with the same pieces, and the same # of pieces, of luggage she left with? Maybe she picked up some more LV "collectibles" in Paris.

  37. Having under-trained, greedy, tired/bored people check for explosives/weapons/drugs/whatever on checked and carried on bags does not seem to work. Things get missed and things go missing. I don't know why they won't use trained dogs with super-sniffers. Seriously. Saves time, money, and in theory lives. Dogs can also "smell" nervousness and bad intent on people, way better than humans can read facial expressions of would-be terrorists.
