I have yet to physically hold an actual issue of NW magazine which is Australian, but I have to say it is turning out to be one of my favorite magazines anyway because they are not afraid to go waaaaay out on a ledge when they report gossip. They are reporting that Kim Kardashian is addicted to Valium and sleeping pills and that she is heavily self-medicating. This could all be a master plan to have rehab in her back pocket if she needs a ratings boost later in the season. You have to be prepared. The season just started and if they need to throw out a very special Keeping Up, her family would do it. Whatever it takes to keep the money train flowing they will do. I guarantee you that if the numbers drop too low you will see Khloe give in on that whole DNA test thing and say hi to Maury. It's pretty obvious at this point that she does not want to take it because she does not want to hear the truth.

I have often wondered how she gets the courage to keep going out in public much less her "profession" (whatever that is) .. she ain't into liquid courage or street drugs .. so a pharmaceutical boost like Valium and others makes perfect sense!

Pressure in two ways: to be and maintain a perfect body and be gorgeous combined with pressure to perform your own life according to how your manager/laywer/publicist want you to.
I think projecting whatever image is deemed by your people as sellable is probably hellish to maintain. I think that's the reason so many celebs in Hollywood are hooked on substance abuse- because they feel pressured to live their life a certain way and it eventually becomes too much for them.
All I got to say is I have never and will never envy the rich and famous in HOllywood.
Especially Kim Kardashian with her momanger from hell (shudder).
Not a fan but I feel sorry for her. I hope this isn't true, and if it is, she gets the help she needs and sits the f*ck down somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is, back in the beginning of KUWK, before all the spinoffs and when it was just them, on one episode Khloe was going on and on about how she didn't believe she was part of their family, and even tried to hold Kris down and swab her mouth because Khloe said she was sending it for DNA testing.
