Girl Scout Leader Steals Cookie Money From Her Troop


The profits from the sale of 4500 boxes of cookies disappeared as quickly as Girl Scout leader Ana Juarez could collect it from her troop. Police in El Monte, California arrested Ana after it was discovered she blew through about $6K in money from the sale of Girl Scout cookies. She spent it on gas, manicures, shopping and Victoria's Secret. Each member of the troop sold 500 boxes in one month which means the troop sold 4500 boxes total.
