Amanda Bynes Has More Charges Coming
It turns out that Amanda Bynes is not just going to be charged with DUI, but also refusal to to take a breathalyzer test. I don't really blame her for that if she was drinking because it is about your only chance to win the case if it goes to trial. Of course it also totally shows that she was drinking regardless of what her dad said. Do you think he has come around yet and realizes his daughter not only drinks, but was drinking that night? Oh, and most nights.
Here they made a law that you automatically lose your license for 6 months if you refuse a breathalyzer, so you're pretty much screwed either way.
ReplyDeleteafter lindsey, paris & nicole getting away with so much, i'm doubtful of any real consequences for "stars".
ReplyDeleteHaving not had a DUI, I am not sure about the law in CA, but I thought you had the right to refuse a breathalyzer. Not that it makes sense, but I thought you could, except then you end up having to get a blood test.

ReplyDeleteI'm not going to throw her under the bus for drinking every night or even for getting a DUI. When I was younger, I would have a drink or two almost every night.
ReplyDeleteBased on her behavior after the arrest, she is heading down a path that we all know ends in Saudi businessmen using her face as a toilet in exchange for Chanel bags. I sincerely hope she learns her lesson and gets her life in order, but only time will tell.
She already does that
Delete@Princess - Here in CA, you lose your license for a year.
ReplyDeleteReally? For a year? They must have just changed that. I thought it was 6 months.

Anyone and everyone should be thrown under the bus for DUI. That is no joke and innocent people can get killed. I don't care about fretting over life's regrets, but my biggest regrets were all the times I got in a car with a drunk driver, usually because I was wasted too. Never again.
I'm only going to day that she looks like a hooker in that dress
ReplyDelete@Sherry
ReplyDeleteNope. It's been a year for quite some time now. At least through the DMV action, which is not a criminal proceeding. a first time DUI conviction (in criminal court) carries a 6 month suspension.
hopefully she gets whatever help she needs so nothing like this ever happens again.
ReplyDeleteD. Good to know and glad not to have first hand experience with it.
ReplyDeleteThe more she trainwrecks, the more I have terrible pre-guilt about looking forward to her inevitable Playboy spread.
ReplyDeleteAm I cross-eyed or is her left patella about three inches lower than the right in that picture? When did Bynes get a false leg?
ReplyDeleteOK, one more comment. I don't remember the tenet in Stanislavsky, when I was studying acting, that says it's necessary for the craft to walk on stage naked for every performance. I mean, is this seriously how young actresses today dress for the red carpet: "Ah, refreshing shower. OK, panties... incredibly tight dress...I'm done!" What woman goes out almost every night, knowing they're gonna get papp'ed, basically naked?
ReplyDeleteMy daughters have been wearing bras since they were 13 (more for modesty than for support).
B. Profane, she is bending the one leg (her left, our right) which makes it appear a bit wonky.
ReplyDeleteI still say she has a gammy leg...
ReplyDelete@IngridSuperstar - The reason that I wouldn't is that I was charged with Impaired Driving a long, long time ago. I learned my lesson and realized how stupid and selfish I was being. I also didn't want to be a hypocrite. That's why I said I wouldn't throw her under the bus for that. I didn't say what she did was okay.
ReplyDeleteIt's cool Popcorn, I dodn't mean to fly off the handle but - internet and all - I couldm't help myself. I realized after I posted how much of a ranting buzzkill I sounded like.
