Tupac Performs With Dr. Dre And Snoop Dogg
Last night Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg brought out the best show anyone has seen in awhile. In between the massive blunts that were smoked, not only did Eminem make an appearance, but Tupac rose from the dead and just a week after Easter. Coincidence?
Bizarro world.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is pretty damn amazing sometimes.
ReplyDeletethere is some act in Japan that is huge and it all revolves around a woman singer as a hologram.
ReplyDeleteI saw this on TMZ and it was pretty cool.
Not gonna lie, I would have loved to see it. Doubtless this will become the "new thing". I shudder to think of which deceased star will grace the stage next.
ReplyDeleteOr....maybe it wasn't a hologram? bomm bomm boooooooommmmm
Daaaaaaaaaamn!!!! That was awesome! Even though I don't know much about Tupac, I still find this tribute by Snoop Dogg to be amazing!!! Pretty damn cool. I wish I had been there.
ReplyDeleteThis is incredible...if doesn't matter anymore if you die!
ReplyDeleteTupac needs to eat a cheeseburger.
ReplyDeleteOK - how exactly was this done? Is it completely CGI or did they get a lookalike to lip-sync with special effects? I can't tell.
ReplyDeleteAnd God help me - I'm an adult white woman who loves the rap!
The hologram was amazing. I am a big Tupac fan, so to actually bring him into the modern world and have him scream out "coachella!!" Bad ass.
ReplyDeleteBaby Isla was totally rockin' out in her high chair. That was super cool!!
ReplyDeleteI found it quite creepy.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Idol do this in a finale show once? I remember Celine Dion singing with somebody dead (Elvis?) and I thought it was really creepy.
ReplyDeleteCeline sang with Frank Sinatra but he was on screen not like this. This effin rocked! I'm also a white woman who loves her some rap here and there. This gave me chills- super cool!
ReplyDeletecool video game
ReplyDeleteOkay, I watched from another computer and it's pretty darn good.
ReplyDeleteI'd bet all the stoners thought it was the triumphant return of Tupac!
ReplyDeleteMany people think he's still alive. Hanging out with Elvis at Burger King :)
They did the same with Elvis on Idol a few years back. Celine Dion performed with him.
ReplyDeleteI too have been a big Pac fan since I was a young teen. So this was definitely bitter sweet to see him perform :/
ReplyDeleteFuck what a senseless death, I was 14 when it happened and it was the first time I cried when a celebrity died.
I guess if anything this will keep Pac's memory and amazing talent current for upcoming generations who didnt grow up listening to him.
RIP dude.
Wow! That being said, I read his death transcript. Not pretty. What they don't tell you in the news. :(
ReplyDeleteI dont think I like that. Dead need to stay dead.
ReplyDeleteSo good! Count me in as another middle-aged white woman who loves The Rap.
ReplyDeletehad chills the entire time i watched this....
ReplyDeletehad chills the entire time i watched this....
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I was dancing in my seat. :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's b/c I'm watching this from a laptop, but this looked eerily real! Waaay better than when Idol did it.
As much pot that was smoked at Coachella, I'm sure many people thought he was real...
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I'm an adult white woman who loves me some old school rap and Eminem!
