The Avengers premiere was last night and Scarlett J went with her Christopher Walken hairstyle.
Robert Downey Jr was there was his wife.
It kind of looks like Cobie Smulders is wearing a butterfly on her dress.
Alexander Skarsgard was there with his father.
Mark Ruffalo and Sunrise.
Chris Evans went with the plaid suit.
Jeremy Renner looks like he has dropped some weight.
Jennifer Grey forgot her glasses and has no idea where the bike handles are.
Scarlett has the worst stylist of all the actress's her dresses never suit her.

I know! Maybe I thought Skarsgard was Swedish for Smith? probably has something to do with Peter Sarsgaard throwing me off, because everytime I read his name I remind myself its not the same as Skars. Is that racist?

ReplyDeleteSarah - my roomie was in a hotel w/ Scarlett the other day and COULD NOT BELIEVE how pigeon-toed she walked. She was really shocked. She actually called it "bow-legged" but when she imitated the walk for me it was pigeon-toed. Need to educate the roomie.

ReplyDeleteI'm no mean girl, I just don't get her appeal past the boobs.
She also strikes me as someone who tries to present herself as being very educated and aware, but lacks education and awareness. I'm certain that was the appeal of Sean Penn. His activism and worldliness would fool someone like that into believing they were a genius.

ReplyDeleteI think Scarlett (in her mind) suffers from the dumb blond stereotype, so she goes out of way to appear super intelligent but comes off insufferable. I was the same when I was in my early 20s.

ReplyDeleteScar has a nice nose, high cheeckbones, beautiful skin, full lips, yet something is off that I can't put my finger on. She should be gorgeous, but she only looks just above average pretty.
Chris Evans looks different. Not just older, but different. Hmmmm.

ReplyDeleteRDJ is definitely better looking as he ages. I've been going through SNL of the 80s on Netflix and now I'm at the horrible season before Lorne took the show back. OMG was he a mess! Every episode he's bugeyed and behaving oddly. Now I remember why I never thought he was hot back then. He just... wasn't. Sobriety looks REALLY good on you, friend.
Stellan is awesome. There are other Skarsgards, too.

ReplyDeleteRDJ has aged quite nicely. I loved him way back when and never thought he'd grow up to be so handsome, or rather, so distinguished-looking.
I think ScarJo's problem is she's top heavy and it can be hard to find a cut for that.
Yep, totally agree that RDJ is one beautiful looking man, & he seems like a nice guy, which is even cooler than how he looks in a suit.

ReplyDelete@tracynator: Definitely--motherhood definitely seems to agree with Susan. :-) They both look healthy and happy, and I'm glad for them. Would love to see a picture of Baby X, but I can understand not wanting to put one out; still, I bet he's absolutely adorable. (Sorry, babies on the brain--a couple of my friend have them, and while I'm past being able to have one, it's fun to play auntie to theirs. Heck, someone tell the Downeys that I hereby volunteer to be Crazy Auntie Robin in Boston to their little guy when he's old enough; we can go play on the Make Way for Ducklings figures in the Public Garden & ride the Swan Boats, and then we'll go to an SCA event where he can watch grown men in armor beat the snot out of each other w/boffers in order to be King. Really, every kid needs a crazy auntie, right? ;-)

I always thought RDJ was hot in but don't remember him from SNL. LOVED. Home for The Holidays. His wife is indeed loverly and bet they are just thrilled with the new babay. But I wonder why most pictures of him he's not smiling. And for the record I don't think Himmmm is RDJ but likes that everyone thinks it is. I do enjoy your comments though.

Sadly the movie wasn't as big a hit as it should have been because he was so there. Good thing that after all he's gone through, that he's still here (and still looking fine I would like to add).

@Robin: Heh....I'd gone back into lurker mode for a bit 'til you mentioned the SCA. ;) woot! Some of my friends tried to get me to fight w//them but they tend to do it mainly in August & I'm not good in heat, so...putting on armor & fighting in that weather would probably do me in. Which is unfortunate & bums me out a bit b/c I'd love to be an azz-kicker!
