Random Photos Part One

Four parts today.

Redmond O'Neal gets a hug from a woman who can't believe Redmond is even alive after having a father like Ryan O'Neal.
Reese Witherspoon and her suddenly shrinking husband. Wow he has lost some weight.
Kevin James can't believe his luck. Two movies with Salma Hayek. Not bad for a fat guy.
Apparently all these people also think Avatar is real.

The Rock waves bye to his fans as his stunt double prepares to do the hard work.
Apparently Tallulah Willis likes walking in the rain. How does she feel about Pina Coladas?
Rumer Willis also spent some time in the rain but doesn't look to be enjoying it at all.
Zac Efron makes his way through another airport.

  1. Jim Toth is wearing his jeans like Jake Ryan. Yum

I don't know why that little twink Zac Efron is growing on me. Maybe the previews for "The Lucky One"? Huh.

  2. When did Reese's husband starting letting his hair grow out. He used to keep in in a buzz cut.

It's amazing how many "brag" about not knowing something. In their defense, I guess the Titanic doesn't come up in grade school or high school history much. But really, this was a pretty major event. I wonder if they think Pearl Harbor was just a movie too?

  3. Tallulah looks like Ozzy circa 1972.

  4. What is Barney the Dinosaur Hell is Zac Efron wearing?

    Those Willis girls...honestly.

Reese looks great, he husband is cute.

  5. I didn't realize that the "Edmund Fitzgerald" actually sank in my lifetime; I assumed it was, like, 100 years ago or something.

    But the "Titanic"?! Come on.

  6. I was way into the story of the Titanic as a kid, long before the wreck was ever found. So I knew the details of all the stories in the movie.
Even at the simplest level---that this actually happened---makes the movie completely for me. To see "Titanic" as a made-up 'costume/action/mega-snuff' film would be utterly worthless! What's the point?

Cheesy or not, as a history buff, I loved the movie because James Cameron really OCD'd over ALL the real details---and a few great myths.
I loved it. Those kids who thought it was fake, thought it was just a scary boat movie. Knowing it was real freaked me worse than any fake horror movie.

  7. I'm dumbfounded -- it might be one thing to not know about the Titanic and never have seen the movie. It seems another thing altogether to actually HAVE SAT THROUGH THE MOVIE (what, 10, 15 years ago) and STILL be taken by surprise today that it was a real event?

    I weep for the future.

  9. I'm with you, libby. I don't give a crap about Rose or Jack, but I SURE liked what she was wearing. And the sets. And the details. And the history. A nearly-perfect film, IMHO.

  10. OMG...these people didn't know Titanic was real???? What do they live under a rock?? I hope they know the 9/11 is real. I think this is what they mean by the ignorant youth now-a-days.

My next question...they do know Titanic was real and that Jack and Rose were not real...right? Or am I expecting way too much.

  11. ...and @ libby...I'm with you. When I saw the movie 15 yrs ago, I had nighmares for 3 days straight, know it was real and what those people went through in real life. Cameron did a great job portraying history. Amazing movie, Rose & Jack love story aside.

  13. I just saw Salma in a Burger King commercial yesterday. Curious. It's not like she needs the cash.

When Demi isn't starving herself she's beautiful and Bruce isn't a bad looking guy but damn they have some odd looking kids.

  14. I totally get and agree Ryan 0 neal is a dick, but what kind of parent was Farrah? I think she had her bout with drugs too, and used Redmond as a companion. I feel for that, Kid,he really, he got slammed with shitty jeans every which way.

  15. what the hell? how did these people not know the titanic really happened? maybe because the film was done 1999? or whenever it was made, and they never saw documentaries or heard about it...i do not know but wow! people are dumb!

  18. auntliddy, not only does he have shitty jeans but got slammed with shitty genes too! *snicker*

Yeah, I am amazed at the number of people who if it's not on Entertainment Tonight or TMZ, etc. They don't know about it. Read a book? Don't be ridiculous!

  19. Zac Efron is on the cover of Men's Fitness sporting some serious triceps- where did they go?

The Willis girls- just not pretty. Ever.

  20. Salma Hayek really does have a great rack.

Zac Efron does nothing for me- he's too pretty. Also, he looks manorexic in this pic.

Lastly, regarding the Titanic youngins not knowing about it being a real event- PARENTS if you have fucking kids dont just hand them a cell phone at 10 yrs old and a playstation/X-Box and MTV and call it a day. This shit is the product of parents who rely on current media to educate their kids.

  26. Pina Colada...he he he

  27. @Sherry: Oh, it's worse than that--not long before the movie came out, there was a Titanic musical on Broadway, and I distinctly recall some kind of kerfluffle because one of the reviewers DARED to give away the ending! *head* *desk*

Oh, and I still want Kate's clothes from that movie, damn it...

  28. Pina coladas, eh? I own that album on vinyl, damn it...*grumblegrumbledamnkidsgetoffmylawngrumble*

  29. I cant blame these kids. There's no history in school anymore. My boyfriend's daughter is a freshman in high school & has never gone over State Capitols!

  30. My 11 year old knows the Titanic was real but then again, she loves reading biographies & anything historical. She also just finished learning all the states' capitals & labeling them on a map (she is in 5th grade)

  31. Yes, my five year old knows Titanic is real...

  32. @yodelay I have 4 kids and I'm pretty amazed at some of there homework. Education seems to more focused on technology, science, and math. Not that I don't think those are important. Subject like english and reading don't get as much attention. I remember having to read lots of great literature and then writing reports on it.

They barely do any reports and they are often in groups. I've never seen them bring home any Shakespeare or even To Kill A mockingbird, although I'm not sure if it's been banned yet. Something like Titanic could be easily googled and the History Channel seems to have a documentary on it every other week. It's pretty scary if you stop and think about it.

My kids often abbreviate words and I don't get why writing "U" instead of "You" is that hard? Are two extra letters that time consuming? End of rant.

  33. Late to the party but I'm appalled that so many people didn't realize the Titanic was a real historic event. Not surprised sadly but appalled. This is what scares the hell out of me about the idea of having kids. I guess if I want them to know what I think they need to (for example reading the books the previous poster cited, or knowing basic history of the past few centuries) I should totally expect to oversee it myself.
