Melissa Gilbert Suffers A Concussion On Dancing With The Stars
Apparently Melissa Gilbert suffered a concussion during her performance on Dancing With The Stars last night. Well, that is what she said. She also has whiplash and wants to make sure she gets as many sympathy votes as possible the next several weeks because she Tweeted about it several times last night. Was her brain that jiggled around that she got a concussion. The whiplash I don't have a problem with. I can see that, but the concussion seems a bit much. Does this mean there will be no more paso dobles? Melissa left the show early and was rushed to the hospital but was sent home after receiving treatment. So, does this mean she is out? Concussions would be serious and you are more likely to get another if you have suffered one. If she really did get one, why would producers chance her getting another? I think sometime in the next few days that diagnosis might be revisited.
You'd think that helmet of fillers would prevent brain injury.
ReplyDeleteI need to rewatch the dance because I didn't see him slam her head into the floor.
ReplyDeleteShe complained of feeling dizzy, and since Natasha Richardson, people take even small head injuries seriously.
I only watched Donald Driver. I don't care for Melissa Gilbert.
ReplyDeleteShe's really going off the deep end.
ReplyDeleteShe's such a bitch in real life. I think Enty has hinted that her partner is already over her.
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty funny - a reading of Melissa Gilbert's memoir. It's the story of her relationship with Rob Lowe and how he cheated with Nastassja Kinski.
ReplyDeleteI think I got the link from someone here, it's worth reposting though!
Oh, how 'bout posting the link?!

Really I didnt see her head slam anthing either and she is a bitch
ReplyDeleteI absolutely can't stand this woman and I seriously doubt she got a concussion.
ReplyDeleteMaks getting stuck with this unattractive little troll has ruined this season for me!
Emeye just watched clip too funny
ReplyDeletehow much work has she had done to her face. she looks horribile
Little House on The Parie Musical wtf
ReplyDeleteIs she trying to say she got a concussion from spinning around, while dancing?
ReplyDeleteI'm not entirely sure that's possible...don't you have to hit your head against a hard surface, or otherwise receive a blow to the head for that to happen?
I smell attention/vote-seeker.
you don't have to hit your head to have a concussion but that's typical. if you seem the least bit out of it or confused, and were doing some activity, they may well call it a concussion.
ReplyDeletesounds like bullshit to me, in this case.
I have often wanted to shake her till her teeth rattled so I am having a hard time not believing that someone did just that, when we weren't looking....or that could just be a continuation of the daydream I have had since childhood from my sister making me watch that flipping show everyday on re-runs. I used to pull for Nellie
ReplyDeleteyeah, dark place today
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with all the broken bones and concussions and injuries yet they all continue to dance just fine? I don't get it at all. How can you have these kinds of injuries and keep it up? I mean, does Maria really have cracked ribs and a broken bone in her foot, much less Melissa's concussion.
ReplyDeletea 'mild' concussion can be anything, a tap on the head. Doubt she has a real concussion, but she sure is working the audience for votes. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteDid you see the way Max was throwing her around..i'm not surprised..he is abusive.
ReplyDeleteand she still had time to tweet LOLOL
ReplyDeleteThe Paso is about a bullfight so it is supposed to be dramatic, forceful and yet graceful. If a partner of Maks doesn't get there on their own Maks has no problem flinging them to the right position.
ReplyDeleteMelissa is a tentative dancer, I'm sure she knows she needs to pick up votes, and it's going to be hard to do with her dancing. So injury!
Donald Driver looked great in his Paso.
I don't believe any of the people on this crappy show when they say they got injured. In the first season before the show was insanely popular nobody ever got any injuries. Ever since then they are suddenly getting injured left and right. It's all publicity and sympathy votes.
ReplyDelete@EmEyeKay - Thanks for the link, that was good stuff.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch Dancing with the Stars but a friend of mine does and all I've been hearing about from the beginning of the season is how she doesn't like Melissa Gilbert. Not sure why, tho'.
@Mango - is your friend named Nellie? maybe? ;)
