Mega Millions Winner Keeping Money For Herself - Not Sharing With Group
A woman says that although she and her co-workers at a McDonald's restaurant pooled their money to buy Mega Millions tickets, the ticket which actually turned out to be a winner was not from the pooled money but was from money she used separately from the group and plans on keeping the estimated $105M all to herself. See, this is where it gets tricky when you buy lottery tickets with your co-workers or friends. The woman, who has 7 children says she has hidden the ticket but will present it to lottery officials today. She says that she bought at least three tickets that were separate from the ones she bought with her co-workers. There are supposedly 15 people in the pool which means that if the $105M was divided among everyone then each person would get about $7M. That is a ton of money for anyone, let alone someone making $7.50 an hour. Do you believe the woman? Did she buy tickets separately? There will probably be a big lawsuit over the money and she won't be able to touch it for awhile.
