Louis Ray Perez Charged In Brittany Kilgore Murder

Louis Ray Perez was the last known person to see Brittany Kilgore alive. Now he has been charged with her murder. The Staff Sergeant was already in jail on an assault weapon charge and now is the second person arrested and charged with murder. Previously, Jessica Lynn Lopez was arrested for the murder of Brittany. Jessica has since tried to kill herself and has plead not guilty. Perez and Lopez lived in the same house and had some kind of S&M relationship going on and Perez had a date with Brittany the night she disappeared.

  1. Guess she was wearing a hoodie and carrying a bag of skittles.

  2. Is this the girl they kept in their basement for three days and if I remember correctly hid her body in a freezer?

Just want to remind our less experienced and evolved readers that most BDSM practitioners are not murderous or physically and mentally abusive people. People like to haphazardly mention BDSM in their news articles and blogs as though that particular fetish or lifestyle is somehow a gateway into murderous activity. Abusive and controlling relationships exist and can lead to great physical harm including death with or without the bondage gear.

  5. @Diana - totally agree. Sexual kinks do not a bad person make. This is a bad person who just happened to have sexual kinks.

@Nellie I truly believe that these types of men use BDSM to create a false sense of security and an opening for real physical and mental abuse. Without trust and respect, it's simply not a true BDSM relationship.

  7. @Diana - thank you for your comment. There is a lot of misunderstanding about these practices and a lot of people indulge in these fetishes to the satisfaction of both parties without any harm done.

  8. This is a weird but serious murder case. I'll definitely be using a different website as my main source of info about it.

This woman's body was dumped by the side of the road in a different city than where the murder most likely occurred.

  9. Now, I have to go look up this story. Sometimes, I really wish this blog just ran the whole story, so I'm not sitting here thinking WTF? This item has 9 million glaring holes.

  11. Getting annoyed with comments about not liking the blog, like someone forces you to come here. He already posted about this story which is prob why he didnt give background.

  12. It's a somewhat big story in LA, but I'm not surprised no one outside of California knows much about it.

  15. I wish Enty would move away from all the murder and child molestation stories. This is not why I come here.

I love the other gossip stories as well as (most of!) the comments, so I keep coming back. And yes, I can skim past the stories I don't like. But...why have these downer stories here at all? There are plenty of other places to read about them (like, everywhere), and not so many good fun celebrity gossip sites.

  16. Personally, I love true crime stories and like that Enty posts some of the more mysterious ones here. And I keep coming back.

  21. My parents got me hooked on true crime stories, so keep 'em coming, although sometimes the stuff about children can really bring me down. It doesn't even have to be a crime story. Yesterday there was a story somewhere online about a dad who lost his three young daughters a few years ago in a Christmas day fire. Man, it would take a someone with a heart of stone not to cry at that.
