Jason Trawick Is Going To Run Britney Spears' Life Now

I don't know if it is such a good idea for Jamie Spears to let Jason Trawick be a co-conservator of Britney Spears. A father is forever and over the years I think Jamie Spears has shown he is willing to take good care of his daughter. Jason Trawick though has been in and out of this relationship with Britney Spears so you wonder if giving him a say in what happens to Britney is the right way to go. What if they get divorced? How is this different from Sam Lufti? You have some guy outside the family who is going to be in charge of her. Talk about some old fashioned marriage conditions. When Jason says he is the boss of Britney he will actually mean it. If this is a step they are taking prior to getting "married," then they must also feel that Britney is never going to get this conservatorship terminated. She is going to spend the rest of her life being the puppet for other people to make money off her.

  1. I don't think Britney wants to be in charge of anything. She wants people to make her decisions and tell her what to do. There isn't a strong willed bone in her body. When she did have free reign over her life she couldn't handle being an adult or invested mother.

From what I have read Jamie is happy with Jason taking over. The whole thing is just sad.

  2. If she is manic depressive, which she may be, she truly needs a conservator for the rest of her life. I do agree that having it be her husband could be tricky, but I am also sure that there have been an army of lawyers looking into every detail and possible scenario here.

  3. Seems like she's being taken advantage of, again. For her own good, again.

  4. Enty, why is "married" in quotation marks?

There seems to be a huge difference between Sam Lufti and Jason Trawick. Don't know either of them, it's just a guess.

  5. If approved, Jason will have full control of her "well being", while Jamie will still have full control of her finances.

What the hell does that mean? And what if something happens to Jamie?

I shudder at the thought of the man I'm supposed to marry having any control over me.

And, he seems to have aged rather quickly in this relationship. He looks a lot older than his 40 years. Kind of looking like her grandpa.

  6. One way or another Brit will always have her handlers pulling her strings :(

I hope her dad retains co-conservatorship for her benefit.

  7. She can't take care of herself and giving her future husband/manager authority over her well-being seems rather fair actually.

Britney is a shell of a human being these days (sadly) and this Jason fellow seems to care enough about her so this could be the less of other evils (KFed, Lutfi, etc.).

  8. my guess is Britney isn't interested in running her own life. I don't think she really ever grew up and is still quite immature in a 'I still act like I'm 17" kinda way. I don't mean that to be mean, i just think she'd rather let someone else handle her business aspect. Lady Gaga, she is not. So, whether it's Daddy, or Jason, or a court system, someone else will always be taking care of her. Just let her be a mom, and let her go retire in Lousyana and she'll be happy. Why not?

  9. If she needs a conservator, she's incapacitated (which seems true), and she really shouldn't be getting married by any definition of the term. This is more like her dad marrying Trawick.

  10. My heart breaks for her. She seems so sad all the time. I really hope Jason is on the level and actually cares for her and her sons. She needs people in her life that are genuine, and a good honest friend.

  11. I think being a "puppet" with someone making sure she takes her medications, and sees to it she has a life and career and can be a non-scary parent is far better than undressing at stores in full view of others, marrying whomever walks in the door, and especially having SWAT teams rescue your children from your home in a hostage situation - or seeing a kid's terrified face in a child-safety seat.

Non-celebrities get child-endangerment charges placed against them and end up in jail, and lose custody of their children. Jail and not seeing her child is better than a conservator?

I don't know who would be the best conservator for her, but I'm not certain why Enty and others believe that she's a "puppet" who would live a happier live without those "strings." Maybe she would be better off retired from her career. But if she's as ill as it appeared during her meltdown times, she isn't better off left on her own.

  12. I was wondering about the word marriage in quotations as well.

I honestly hope she snaps out of whatever trance she is in. Well wishes to her & her boys.

  15. It seems like Trawick is a decent guy with good intentions, i.e. not gold-digging intentions. I'd be concerned that money would get in the middle of their relationship. Most couples end up fighting over money, and that's when each person has their own and is control of what they spend it on. Having your husband or wife be completely in charge of your finances sounds like a recipe for disaster and fighting.
My dad is a conservator for his brother and at this point they are not even speaking to each other because dad won't let him spend money on frivolous things.

  16. She has no choice to be a puppet. We already know what the alternative is.

Abderian, even gold-diggers are motivated. The better gold-diggers know how to cover up their intentions.

Whoever said she has not grown up is true imho. Now is she willfully not wanting to advance in life is the better question?

Not everyone who's bipolar or mentally ill behaves like Brit Brit.

  18. I think that Brit seems to be doing much better, but I can't help but notice that the light went out of her eyes and smile long ago....

  19. I guess I'm trying not to assume immediately that this man has dishonest intentions. I'm working off the fact that she appears to be in a better place than she was pre-Jason, and that her family approves of him - whereas they feared Lufti, and others from that period of time.

Although, @Trebuchet makes a fine point. If she is still "ill" enough to be under a conservatorship, a marriage is probably not the best course of action. The other reason my uncle (schizophrenic) is not speaking with his conservator is because my father will not give permission for him to marry his girlfriend. The fact is, even though he's relatively stable on medication - he is still not competent to make long-term life decisions such as marriage.

I just feel that this will end badly. This poor girl.

  21. Perhaps the quotations on marriage is meant to say that it is not much of a typical marriage in that it's not simply a matter of "we love each other, let's be with each other forever", but it is now a business and caretaker deal.

  22. I really don't think she wants to be "Britney Spears" anymore. @Sarah is right, the light went out long ago. I feel sorry for her.

  23. Ugh - I've got nothing really new to add, but, even that picture, her hand is so rigid and posed - she's just machinated, going through the motions without any genuine spark behind the mask / face. There is, however, a MASSIVE difference between Jason Trawick and Sam Lufti. Jason is a decent guy who had a successful career before this. He held off on dating Britney until she was out of the real abyss and was getting her life back together (with help). Sam Lufti is a sleezy criminal opportunist, who kept Britney isolated, drugged up and on a path of self-destruction, while he fleeced her accounts and ruined any potential career. Never did she ever look happy in those days, nor safe from dying at any moment. The wreckless behavior was on death-wish level - all the senseless driving, wig-wearing, meltdowns, etc. She may be medicated to the hills at this point, but, at least, she's not killing herself, and she has her sons back in her life. I don't think she can do better than this. Other than, perhaps, writing an honest memoir, including about the mind-f*ck called Justin, capped off by Kevin. Jason has never rushed her, drugged her, hurt her, impregnated her, asked her for money (instead, he excused himself from her professional staff for quite a while). The part of the conservativeship he is taking over is her well-being, not finances. Meaning, if he needs to commit her, get her help, he can. He won't be powerless to help her. If he does anything untoward, there will the option of the conservatorship whole to step in, as well as the courts, etc. This is for the good of everyone, and I agree with it. Enty, as a lower, you should know this.

  24. I've always thought Jason was odd and too old for her and his past being her manager and then her fiance just seemed to blur the boundaries lines.

And if anything, this girls needs consistant and proper boundaries in her life.

No doubt Jason's influence is in this new arrangement. And yeah, it is gross and I feel sorry for her (and mostly those two little boys). Hope there arent any kids from this new marriage. The power and control in this relationship is about to get even more skewed and odd.

  25. I just can't believe this guy is on the up and up. She seems so vulnerable, and that means she is going to attract users and douche bags. I hope I'm wrong and he's sincere. I am picturing him cheating on her, and having hangers on around to enjoy spending all her money - I mean, she won't care. She's been there before. I agree with Enty that perhaps her father is the best person to be in charge of her finances, even though I'm not so sure his motives are completely pure, either.

  26. @PS, I think you're right, I just read elsewhere that this co-conservator title he will now have is only in regards to her well-being, i.e. having the legal ability to force her to get medical help if necessary, taking her medications, etc. It is sometimes very difficult to convince a mentally ill person in the middle of a manic or psychotic episode to accept that they need help so this a sign that they consider this Trawick to be trustworthy.

  27. Her own father having control of her finances is one thing, but a future husband? No way! Even though Jamie will remain as Co-Conservator, what if something happens to Jamie?

If she's remains incapacitated that she can't handle her own affairs, then WHY is she getting married?

I don't trust him - he looks cold, detached. I think pictures can reveal a lot and I don't like what I see when I look at Jason.

  28. If ever there was a person who can give life to the rumors of a mind controlled entertainment industry,it is Britney. I urge anyone who thinks it's bs to read older accounts of other rumored "mind controlled" celebs. They really are puppets in every way.

  29. Britney is still cray cray. She is not unlike Michael Jackson where young stars make so much money so young they can do whatever they want so long as the money keeps flowing in. No one ever told them no and they never had to grow up. Even when her kids were born, it didn't change her mentality. Her dad being in charge was exactly what she needed and I too think it's suspect to had over and sort of control of her, her money, or her assets to anyone other than her dad. She can't be be treated like this forever, but what steps has anyone really mad to ensure she is actually mentally growing up?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't know that I think Trawick is a total bad guy, but I don't think it's all true-love either.
I think they have a decent business relationship going from his standpoint, Brit probably does love him, because she needs to.
I'm pretty sure her dad got Jason involved on the business end of this, both to handle Britney and her finances so he can eventually back himself out a bit.
I think his hand is pretty deep in the cookie jar, so he will retain an interest in the conservatorship to ensure the family will continue to live well off her work.

  31. Its such ashame about Britney. She always seemed like a nice person. It maybe weird to people having Jason control her but if thats what it takes for this girl to not go crazy again then so be it!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Jason is a good guy and makes his own money. He was an executive with WME and pulled in millions annually. Now he works with Dave Stewart and Mick Jagger Na makes even more. He doesn't need Britney or her money. He is truly in love with her.

  33. What Deree said. Britney is the poster child for everything that is f*cked up about the entertainment industry.

    ReplyDelete
  34. This pisses me off. She's a grown woman and she's been doing fine for years. Let her go, shit.

  35. "I've always thought Jason was odd and too old for her and his past being her manager and then her fiance just seemed to blur the boundaries lines."

@Jasmine, you DO realize that Britney and Jason are only 9 years apart and that she's going to be 31 this year. She's not a child. I don't see how anyone could classify him as "too old" for her. She's a grown woman.

  36. Let it be- yes he and Brit are a little odd. But he's been in the industry for years and has stuck by her through the worst and learned bout her disease in the process. Obviously he cares about her and let's be honest- she seems more stable around hIm than her parents!!

  37. I can't stand it anymore. Britney Spears is schizophrenic. People who are diagnosed schizophrenic cannot control their own money. I was the diehard for my schizoPhrenic husband. I wish she would just come out. She would do such good work bringing the mental disease to the forefront. I hope she trust Jason 100%. Cause he'll be legally robbing her blind.

  38. That photo shows 2 automatons, their programming set to:

"Happy to be here! We are every bit a normal, content heterosexual couple, so let's please keep conversation on a superficial level. Thank you & lovely to see you again, too! Ooh, shrimp cocktail..."

I have the sad feeling that Brit is not being true to herself. I think she's living a lie because she has "everything" that "anyone" could ask for so she feels guilty about what she may equate with complaining and is probably scared to face The fact that she is indeed miserable.

I wish she would take 3-4 months off, alone, and go do some volunteer work in a country where ppl don't even know she's famous.

  39. Oh, and I just have to add, Brit & Jason remind me of every celebrity Scientology couple I've seen...

    Weird...

  40. She should really change her last name to Trainwreck.

  41. I think Britney's doing the best she can to come to terms with the fact that she's suffering a very sever mental illness. There were a lot of people around her that rode her wave of crazy all the way to the bank. The sad fact is that, since she was an adult when the behavior began, it had to get to the extreme level it did in order for her family to be able to take legal action.

I would like to think that Jason saw and loves the good in her beyond her mental illness and seems to have the strength to handle what being in a relationship with her means. He hasn't been parading her around and putting her dangerous situations. He has helped build a good stable life for her as best he can. I believe he knows what that industry can do to people, has lived it, and he can provide her the understanding and stability required to manage her particular level of mental illness.

I hope that's the case, anyway...
