Elisabetta Canalis Is 21 Days Sober
Steve-O broke up with Elisabetta Canalis and apparently she must have taken what he said seriously, because as of this morning she would be 21 days sober. A person close to her told me this yesterday when she was 20 days sober, so if she slipped last night, then of course she would be starting all over again. No rehab for Elisabetta. She is attending 12 step meetings instead to deal with her various issues. I don't know if she is doing this for herself or for Steve-O, but I do know that if she wants any level of success at this then she needs to be doing it for herself. If she is doing it for Steve-O, then she is doing it for the wrong reasons and might not even think she has a problem. It does bring up an interesting question though. Krista Allen went through some issues right after she and George Clooney broke up and now Elisabetta Canalis is going through the same thing. Are they having substance issues going in to the relationships with George or during or after? Does he like women who have these kinds of issues?
Clooney = Fame
ReplyDeleteI think they start partying too much because their stock is about to drop.
I have 12 hours sober right now! So rude of me, but I couldn't resist.
ReplyDeleteGood for her though, hopefully she'll stay friends with Steve-o...if that guy can get sobe's, she can too.
Congrats to you Tempy Grape!
DeleteI think They probably dabble while with George and then maybe take it up a notch when he dumps them?
ReplyDeleteWasn't Elisabetta outed as being a cocaine queen before she even met George though?
Who the hell is this chick?!
ReplyDeleteGod she bores me to tears. Who cares.
ReplyDeleteMmmm hmmm. I reckon she is, now that the whole world has laughed at her for being dumped by STEVE-O of all people (whom I love, but come ON, how embarrassing!)
ReplyDeleteAnd, truly...good for her, if true.
I was going to mention just that: that Clooney's private lifestyle is probably even less wholesome than most people imagine.
ReplyDeleteHave you noticed that almost every woman he has been linked with was a "hostess" at seedy clubs and the like?
Also, I watched a documentary a decade or so ago about Hollywood personal assistants to the stars.
ReplyDeleteThe PAs interviewed said that a lot (if not most) had to be on call 24/7 and were treated badly, but that sometimes if they had done something for the celebrity that they did not want known, they would get gifts or pay-offs.
And they said GC gave his PA a mansion, and the talk was what did she know that warranted that kind of gift to keep her sweet.
Why are we talking about her?
ReplyDeleteRegardless of why she's doing it, good for her. Sobriety is a tough road and I wish her all the best to get through it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Giula. I think that George works hard and plays harder (nudge, nudge). I think he can handle it and knows be has to be sober for his appearances and jobs.
ReplyDeleteThese girls all think they'll be the one to change him because it feels real while they're in it, he treats them well, flies them around the world, lets them walk the red carpet, lets them live with him.
He has a 'type' that isn't meant to be taken seriously and most of them seem to have carried their party favours into the relationship.
ReplyDeleteI just can't picture her with Clooney. He really could have basically anyone in the world...
ReplyDeleteNot me.
ReplyDeleteI don't know who died in 1994 and made him "hot" - I've never seen the appeal, physical or personality-wise.
His relationship history is repulsive, he is a mean drunk that almost got beat up by Fabio, his eyebrows are weird, he has no upper lip and his mouth is jacked.
what exactly does this woman do for a living (other than choose unfortunate tattoos)? i would like to personally slap the immigration officer that keeps approving her visa extensions.
ReplyDeleteIt is time to revoke her Visa and send her back to Italy so she can beg for her old job back, whatever it was.
ReplyDeleteThis is really weird. I know a woman in Scottsdale who dated Clooney 11 or 12 years ago. She was a gorgeous blonde, account executive for a mortgage company, and a major coke head. He flew her out to L.A. all of the time, and I thought that it was weird that he would date such a druggie, even though she was beautiful. There is just no way he would date all of these coke addicts if he wasn't doing it himself. Maybe he is able to control his use?
ReplyDeletegood for her. i haven't really seen any pap pics of clooney & kiebs since the oscars.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised nobody has made a joke about "if Steve-O broke up with me, I'd get sober, too".
ReplyDelete(There, I just did.)
But I shouldn't. Steve-O and the rest of the Jackass guys seem like complete tools, but who knows what this guy is about now that he's sober. Some people sober up and they stay pretty much the same. Some of them, though, become completely different people, kind, selfless, thoughtful people. Maybe he's a good guy? He must have something going on, to have dated a girl who was dating Clooney, who is supposed to be a lot of fun (and nice).
I've put much too much thought into this.
My brother knows Steve-O quite well (professionally and personally) and says that he is a suuuper nice guy.
ReplyDeleteAre they having substance issues going in to the relationships with George or during or after? Does he like women who have these kinds of issues?
ReplyDeleteTrick question! George doesn't like women at all.
@Lori - see? That's good to know, and it doesn't surprise me at all.
ReplyDeleteI called the Jackass guys tools, because I think they're probably mostly jerks with entitlement issues (now) but you can't say they're not having fun (and they don't take themselves too seriously, that's obvious, and that's a good quality).
George has said in interviews "I've done too many drugs and slept with too many women" as his reason why he will never run for public office. A buddy of mine used to work at Warner Brothers back in the 80's and 90's and he said he had partied with George before -- and by partied I mean with alcohol and cocaine.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he's the type to be able to indulge but keep enough control to get his work done. I've always heard he's a consumate professional on sets -- except when he's pulling pranks on people.
EmEyeKay: I happened to pick up Steve O's memoir just b/c I like biographies. I'm uptight and prude as heck but I now LOVE Steve O. If u look at his fb profile, he remembers and thanks his fans & is a really intelligent, thoughtful guy. Very conscientious and not what you would presume.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to drink heavily to date George Clooney, too - and if I found myself at the end with Steve-O, I'd definitely sober up fast.
ReplyDeleteI think George Clooney is boring.
